The attack finally fizzled out, disappearing into smoke and sparks.
The dwarves stared.
The Iron King's eyes widened inside his helmet.
"What… WHAT THE HELL!? Even if you use a shield, how can a HUMAN—block my attack!?" the Iron King shouted, stunned.
"My beam can destroy a mountain! How—how can you withstand that!?"
Nolan smiled.
"Well," Nolan said calmly, "like I told you… do I look like a normal human?"
He lowered his hand.
"So now—it's your time to kick the bucket."
The Iron King growled, aura rising like black flames.
"That wasn't even HALF of my power!" he roared.
"Do not get arrogant, human! Don't think that because you blocked one attack you are superior to me! HUMANS ARE WEAK! No matter how strong you are, you will ALWAYS be below a demon—even a weak one!"
Nolan smirked, eyes glowing with power.
"Oh? Is that so?"
"So tell me," Nolan said calmly, "what attack do you have? Show me. I'm going to beat you fair and square."
