Chapter 14 - CHAPTER 6.5.C:-THE FROZEN FIRE III

Lewosito fell forward, hitting the ground hard.

He screamed, "Aaaargh!"

Arjun Guru folded his arms.

"Again. Do it properly. No sleeping. Meditate."

Lewosito slowly stood up, still in pain.

I'm so sleepy… if I close my eyes, I'll pass out instantly, he thought.

He sat straight, closed his eyes, and took a deep breath.

"Suuuuuu… sniff… sniff… sniff…?"

Lewosito's eyes twitched. Is that… pav bhaji?

His mouth started watering. A voice in the distance said, "Is that boy meditating properly?"

Lewosito opened his eyes— THWACK! "Aaaagrh!" he cried.

He looked and saw Atharv happily eating pav bhaji.

"You got distracted," Arjun said. "Do it again."

Atharv, chewing, said,

"No no, this is very bad. Lewosito, you should focus on your inner fire… not food."

Arjun snapped, "What the hell are you doing here!?"

Lewosito's fist tightened in anger.

"Guru… may I borrow the bamboo sticks for a few minutes?" "…Yes."

Lewosito started running after Atharv. "How dare you distract me by eating pav bhaji in front of me!?"

Atharv panicked. "I was just checking your meditation! Don't lie— don't hit me!"

"Come here, idiot!" Lewosito yelled. Atharv ran downstairs, Lewosito chasing him.

Atharv rushed into a dark underground room—and tripped.

His foot got caught in a blanket, and he fell. The whole blanket dropped on top of him.

Lewosito entered the dark room. "Where the hell did, he go?"

Atharv struggled under the blanket. "I can't see anything! What is this stupid blanket!?"

He stood up, moving blindly. "I still can't remove this—"

Suddenly, a fat girl entered the room and froze.

She stared at the moving blanket.

Then— "AAAAAaaa Aaaaaa!!! GHOST!! RUN!!"

Atharv finally pulled the blanket off—

just in time to see the girl charging at him full speed.

"No no no— STOP—!"

She jumped on him.

"Aaaaaaaaarghhhhhhhh!" Atharv screamed as he hit the floor again.

She grabbed his hair, crying, "Ghost! Ghost! Ghost!!"

"In pain, half conscious," Atharv groaned, "I'm not a g–ghost… just get off me, you elephant!"

Focus… focus, Lewosito… focus.

Lewosito was deep in thought, remembering what Acharya Guru-ji had told him last night.

Last Night

Lewosito said, "It sounds difficult…"

Acharya smiled. "It isn't, but Frozen Fire requires deep discipline. When you master it, you will become calm. Anger will not control you. And you will be able to fight in any situation."

"Then what is the easiest way to master Frozen Fire?" Lewosito asked.

"Sit straight, close your eyes," Acharya said gently. "Imagine a single point inside your inner fire. Focus only on that point. Slowly, the sound of the waterfall will fade… people around you will disappear… even my voice will vanish. The whole world will become silent. At that moment, you will feel your true fire—and only then will you master Frozen Fire. And your fire will remain stable under the waterfall."

Present

Lewosito took a deep breath and closed his eyes. This time, I will do it, he thought.

Slowly, slowly, Lewosito started focusing on his inner fire. He kept thinking to himself, focus… focus. After a few minutes of deep focus, Lewosito felt himself drifting away from everything.

His mind slipped into Shunya—a blank, silent void. No sound. No pain. No emotions. Just peace.

That emptiness slowly began to stretch… becoming vast and infinite, like space itself. Darkness surrounded him, calm and endless. Tiny dust particles floated quietly, forming clouds… nebulae taking shape. He felt nothing, yet everything was being born around him.

From that silence, energy gathered. Pressure built. Light trembled. And then—in the heart of that emptiness—a fire ignited. A star was born. The Sun formed, and Lewosito started feeling a deep warmth from inside him. Finally, he saw the inner fire within himself.

Slowly, slowly, that warmness erupted as fire from both of his hands.

Arjun Guru noticed this and thought, So, finally, after all this, Lewosito has mastered meditation. Now he can easily focus on Frozen Fire training with no pain.

Arjun Guru continued thinking, He is the first person who mastered meditation so quickly. Otherwise, most people take more than 10 months to master this.

Suddenly, Lewosito opened his eyes and started coughing—cough, cough! He looked at his both hands. "What was that?"

Arjun Guru said, "Lewosito, now you can sleep."

Lewosito replied, "Wait, what? Did I focus very well??"

Arjun Guru said, "Yes, fire erupted automatically from your hands when you were in deep meditation. So now, you can sleep."

"Okay," Lewosito said.

10 minutes later, when Lewosito had put on his clothes, he sat on his bed and looked at Atharv. "Are you not going for training?"

Atharv groaned. "No. My chest and back are paining because that fat girl jumped on me. You already know that."

Lewosito replied, "I was controlling my laugh that time."

Atharv said, "Yaa, I know well. I was laughing too when Arjun Guru was hitting you with sticks while I was eating your favourite meal!"

Lewosito looked at Atharv and laughed.

Atharv said, "Well, Lewosito, you focused very well."

Lewosito replied, "Yaa, but it's not that easy. Especially in cold water. I can easily focus here in the room, but it's too hard in that cold waterfall. And you know, Lewosito…"

Lewosito looked at Atharv. "Huh?"

"I am tired with these training," Atharv replied. "I just miss my normal life."

Atharv stayed silent for a moment, then he stood up from the bed. "I have to go for training. I can't waste my time. It's just a normal back and chest pain."

Atharv opened the door and said, "See you, Lewosito," and he closed the door.

Lewosito sat there thinking, Well, when I woke up from my coma after 2 days, I immediately started training. What was my normal life in the past? I don't remember anything from my past.

Atharv was running with two full water buckets. He was gasping for air—gasp, gasp, gasp, gasp. It was getting harder to breathe, but so much training was still remaining. Gasp, gasp. Suddenly, Atharv's leg got stuck on a thick tree root and he crashed to the ground.

"Aa! My leg!" Atharv cried out.

Xeron looked down at him with a cold expression. "Tch. You can't even run properly, idiot," Xeron said in an arrogant voice.

"Stand up and run again. And if you fall again, you will run 10 more times. After that, you will start your next training without any rest. Did you understand, f—ing idiot?" Xeron barked.

Atharv grits his teeth, thinking to himself: This guy... he is crossing his limits. He looked into Xeron's eyes with pure anger.

Xeron snapped back, "Stop staring at me and focus on your training! And don't forget, I am your guru, so keep your eyes down!"

Just then, Kael came running from behind. "What happened, Xeron?" Kael asked.

Xeron replied casually, "Nothing, this guy just fell down."

Kael nodded. "Okay then, see you later."

Xeron turned back to Atharv. "Now wake up, fill those buckets from the river, and start running again."

Atharv filled the buckets and started running, but his mind was on fire. That guy Xeron... he has crossed all limits. He kept hearing Xeron's voice in his head: 'Stand up and run again... 10 times... without rest... f—ing idiot.'

Atharv's anger made him lose focus. "Tch!" He stumbled and fell down again.

Xeron shouted, "So you fell again? Now you will run without resting 10 times! You will run the whole Trimurti mountain, and then you will start your next training!"

Atharv was staring at Xeron again, thinking: Tch... what the...

At evening 6:30, the sky became a deep orange as the sun began to set. Aarav and Lyron were eating their dinner.

Lyron was eating quickly, saying, "Interesting... interesting... this food is interesting."

Aarav looked concerned. "I-I think he's being a little too strict with Atharv..."

Aarav turned to face Lyron, but his eyes widened. "Aaa! You already started eating!"

Back at training, Atharv was shaking as he performed finger push-ups. "221... 222... 223... 224..."

At night 11:00 PM, Atharv was crying in the corner of his room. "I can't do anything... my leg is hurting a lot... my hands are paining and shaking too."

He remembered Xeron's words: 'F—ing idiot.' Atharv lay back on his bed, exhausted.

Yesterday, Morning

"So today is your first day of training," Karan Guru said to everyone. "You guys have to do finger push-ups on bamboo sticks, normal push-ups on bamboo sticks, water bucket squats, and you have to run the whole Trimurti mountain with two water buckets."

Atharv spoke up, "Guru-ji, do we also have to do head hammer training? Like we have to hit our head into the wall by running to make our head strong too?"

The students around him started laughing. "I think he is an idiot," one boy said.

Another girl laughed and added, "Yes, you are right!"

Karan Guru looked at him and said, "Are you crazy? Who told you this stupid training?"

Everyone was laughing at him, excluding Lyron and Aarav. The girl beside Atharv whispered, "You are such a dumb-a**."

Atharv felt the sting of being insulted in front of everyone.

Present Night

"That Jash... he always makes fun of me," Atharv said while crying. "I trained so hard in iron pillar training, but this is too much. My parents also said I am a f—ing idiot and useless."

Atharv's Backstory: 10 Years Back

Atharv was 15 years old. "Go to the training, Atharv!" his father commanded.

Atharv replied, "I don't want to join training. I am not interested in fist powers."

His father's face twisted in rage. "What??... What did you say?!"

Atharv got scared. "I... I don't want to join training and I... I am not interested in fist powers."

Slap! His father slapped him hard and grabbed his hair. "I told you, just do your training!"

Atharv's mother called out, "Let's go, honey! We are already late for the party; everyone is waiting for us. Don't waste time on this useless boy. He never listens to me or you, dear. I told him to join fist training but he isn't listening."

The father grabbed Atharv's hair even harder. "You know, Atharv, me and your mom are like God for you. You have to listen to us, right? So, listen to me and join fist training tomorrow, otherwise, you will see me more hard and strict. I will break your teeth!"

He slapped Atharv again and again. "Just listen to your father and join the training by tomorrow!"

Atharv screamed back, "No! I will not! It's my life and I am not interested in fist powers!"

His mother then started hitting him with sticks. Atharv was crying uncontrollably.

His father sneered, "I said you have to listen to your God-like parents, right? If you don't listen to us, we will give you a punishment."

His mother said, "Wear this dress and come to the party, Atharv."

Atharv was shocked and scared. "What... Mom?"

"And do some makeup on him," she added coldly.

After a few minutes, his father announced to the party guests, "Listen everyone! I want you to meet someone. See him!"

The crowd was shocked and then started laughing. "Is that Atharv? Hahahaha!"

His father and mother laughed along with them. His father said, "He is a girl from now on! She never listens to her parents... such a cry-baby girl! Hahahaha!"

They had forced Atharv to wear the dress and makeup. One guy at the party laughed and shouted, "Hey! I will give you money, dance for us!"

Atharv was insulted badly, crying in front of everyone.

His mother looked at him with disgust. "He is one of my most useless children ever."

His father grabbed his hair again and pushed him down. Everyone kept laughing, shouting, "Useless! Useless!"

"Bloody idiot," his father muttered.

Even his sister told him, "You are one of the most useless brothers. I hate you."

Present Night

Atharv was shouting and crying in his bedroom alone. "Sniff, sniff... hnnn... hnnnn... I am a useless person. I am useless."

After some time, he fell into a deep sleep. At 4:00 AM, Atharv saw a dream. It was a bright, white dream. In that dream, he heard a divine voice speaking very politely.

"I know your past. I know you are broken. I know how people and your family treated you. But it is not time to cry, child. You are born to protect your best friend, and I have selected you personally for these mystical fist powers that no one else will have."

Atharv suddenly woke up. Gasp, gasp, gasp, gasp, gasp!

"What... what was that?"

Atharv washed his face. He stepped out of the bedroom, walked outside the ashram, and headed toward the place where Lewosito was training.

As soon as Atharv saw him, he froze.

Wait…

He mastered Frozen Fire training already?

And that too so early?

Shock filled his eyes.

He himself told me that meditation is easy in the room but extremely difficult under a cold waterfall…

Then how did he master it so fast?

Atharv slowly looked down at his own hands.

His fingers trembled.

Without saying anything, he turned around and started walking toward a huge tree—a massive, ancient tree known to be the strongest in the area. Its thick trunk stood firm, unmoving, as if nothing in the world could break it.

Atharv stopped in front of it.

He took a deep breath.

"Okay… now," he whispered.

Suddenly, he ran toward the tree at full speed.

Bang!

He smashed his head hard against the trunk. Blood immediately started dripping down his forehead—but he didn't stop.

Again.

Bang!

And again.

"I will do it!" Atharv shouted through the pain. "I will do it!"

Blood continued to flow, but his eyes burned with determination.

"I will obtain a mystical fist," he said, clenching his teeth,

"a fist that no one else in this world will ever have."

His vision blurred, yet his resolve only grew stronger.

"I am not the old Atharv anymore," he said quietly.

"Not after that dream."
