Chapter 92: I forgot to introduce myself… an impressive academic qualification
Vicky opened his eyes and looked at Revy and said with a smile. Revy was annoyed looking at the smiling face of Vicky and she was so angry that she turned her anger towards rock and punched him few more times to vent her anger.
The scene that would appear in the plot happened as the attention of Revy diverted towards rock. Dutch also stopped the boat and questioned Revy why she brought over the extra burden rock.
"Why don't I just blow his head up and dump him in the sea."
"Bang…" "Bang…" "Bang…" "Bang…"
Revy spoke as she shot at rock without a second thought. Fortunately rock did not receive a single shot or injury which made Vicky really impress by the luck of rock given to him by the author of the story.
Dutch finally caught her from making a move again only then did Revy calmed down. Vicky that is sitting on the side watched the show as he took out some snacks out of his bag. He even shared some with Benny.
Benny doesn't mind as he sat beside Vicky to watch the things as they develop. Finally after Revy calmed down Dutch took rock out onto the deck and started to speak to him face to face. Vicky that did not get to watch the show started to chat with Benny.
Vicky did not reveal much but soon Revy that wanted to sleep got on the show and joined the chat between Vicky and Benny. Right at that time Dutch also came over with rock and also settling things with Vicky. That is the profit sharing from previous loot.
Dutch can be considered as a rare good guy in this place that would keep his word in most cases. So Vicky still trusts him to some extent even in this kind of situation. When he came over Vicky was speaking to Benny about software and Revy just came over with sarcastic words…
"What can a criminal like you know about technology and computers….?" Revy said.
"Oh! I forgot to introduce myself and others think that I am a useless person. Well I admit that I came from the slums. But I am really good at studying. You know I have more degrees in computer science and finance along with a PHD in commerce.
As for how I became a criminal. I know that most people don't like to talk about their past but I can still speak few words. I worked in a private bank in west Bengal. By chance I found a big secret deal of the boss of the bank supporting some terrorists.
I got some clues and used my brains to steal their money from both their secret accounts and physical money in the form of gold they are transporting. I don't have to do much just hand it over to Hawala and everything changed hands. I got the money they got their cut.
But naturally I am the biggest suspect in the entire thing because I am a key figure and the scapegoat that they wanted to use for the entire thing. They thought that I don't know their plan. Unfortunately those idiots don't know that I have a counter plan.
Naturally they realized that I poked their plan with my strong spear and stole their things. Now they pushed the blame of terrorists on to me to cover up their tracks. I am already prepared for their tricks so I have long since escaped by the time they noticed something was wrong.
Unfortunately why I am escaping I got caught up with you people. Now I have to change from a comfortable first class ship to this place for travelling. Well I still got some good things from the captain's treasure stash…."
Listening to the words of Vicky not only Revy and Benny but also rock and Dutch were stunned. They have never seen this kind of money heist before, also someone that can steal things from those mad terrorists right under their noses.
If something went wrong he would be killed in the most brutal way. They have to say Vicky is really courageous in doing things. Now Revy believes that Vicky would definitely choose to die with her if Dutch did not accept his previous deal.
She felt slightly cold but came back to her senses and asked another question with some doubts about why Vicky wanted to go to Roanapur. It is normal for criminals to hide in many places of the world after something like a money heist.
But Roanapur is a place that is like a beast that would not spirit out even the bones. So going there is more dangerous than hiding anywhere in the world. So she became curious and asked Vicky about this.
"You can hide anywhere in the world with so much money on hand. Why do you want to go to a hell hole like Roanapur?" Revy asked with curiosity and even Dutch was curious about this matter after it was brought up.
"Well you see. I have offended some desperados that might want to kill me till the ends of the earth. So the best place to hide is actually the mixed bag area like Roanapur where you will be alert all the time.
Of I relax in some other place who know who would come to kill me secretly. By the way I heard that there are many factions here and I wanted to join one with a change identity. Just think of it as hiding a tree in the forest.
By the way you should be people from Roanapur right, why not let me join your group. I am really good at doing things you know. You are only three people on this ship. Why not get an extra sailor."
Vicky said smiling at the people showing off his merits. Naturally Dutch thought of this matter clearly. Vicky is not a bad candidate. They betrayed him first and wanted to use him as scapegoat but he fought back and escaped perfectly.
