Ars then extended his hand, grabbed hers and they saw what would be her end, which was now happening to the body that stayed behind.
When they returned he then explained something extra.
"By the way, each queen will be in charge of a single area, and I would like you to be in charge of agriculture and related areas."
She nodded and added.
"Fine by me."
Then he confused her with what he said next.
"But before anything else, let's improve your potential, and would you like to change anything in your appearance?"
She looked at him completely bewildered.
"Huh!?"
Ars just grabbed her hand once more and teleported them to his lab where he explained once more what the machine did.
Then she told him about her preferences about her appearance.
"I would like to have 2 toned hair with a mix of orange and blue. The rest of my body I don't really care that much about, you can change whatever you want."
Ars nodded, and started to work on her desired characteristic. After a while they managed to decide on a mix of both of those colors that she liked, where the upper portion of the hair was blue and the backside was orange.
Then he pretty much didn't change anything. She entered the second tube to change her appearance, and after around an hour, she exited with her new hair color.
Then she entered the first tube and Ars left.
The next day Ars was in an excellent mood, so everyone who knew him, knew that either he made a breakthrough on his training or he was thinking about something mischievous.
Elia approached him while he was training and asked him directly.
"Why are you in such a good mood?"
He flashed a smile at her and answered with a huge grin.
"I have prepared a huge surprise anytime soon."
Then he left with a laugh, leaving Elia and everyone around full of curiosity.
Finally around 2 days later the surprise was shown to his queens first, much to their delight. They finally understood why he was very happy the last few days, they realized he probably had gotten bored when they decided to make a female only night and he decided to get one of the new queens to surprise them and to kill his boredom.
They started introducing themselves, and Ars left to the kitchen to get something to drink. When he came out, they had moved to his living room. Now they were all sharing their backstories, and Ars felt it was better if he didn't get in this conversation so he said calmly.
"Well I'm going to train, I will speak with you later, when you finish with the backstories, since I already know them. Love you all."
Then he left for the military headquarters. He intended to go by train to try to get a clue in awakening his armament haki, but on the way there, he got word of Rook's return, so he changed his destination to the port.
With all the trips to get more people for the kingdom lately, the population was now closing in the 1000 mark.
When he arrived, he was surprised by the unexpected sight. Rook was wounded, not much but enough so that he wouldn't be able to sail for a few weeks at least.
He was curious about what happened so he rushed towards Rook.
"What happened? Is anyone else hurt??"
Rook looked at Ars tired, before answering.
"Akuma no mi and their users are unfair and nonsense, that's what happened… I met someone who could transform into a type of deer… Before he transformed I was winning easily, but then he transformed and the fight was almost even... But no, nobody else was hurt, thankfully they only had one akuma no mi user… And that was already too much… "
Ars laughed his ass off, then he added to the conversation.
"That's what you get from underestimating people… In this case your opponent. It was only recently that you started taking your training seriously again and with all the missions you didn't have much time to practice seriously. Now you suffered because you stopped training, thinking you were strong on this sea and don't get me wrong, you are, but other people can be strong too. You saw that you could crush the majority of the pirates in the north blue pretty easily and stopped taking your training seriously, for a good amount of time, not just you, almost all the soldiers on the island did it and sadly until they lose someone because of their weakness, most of them will be happy with their current strength."
Rook and all of the soldiers around looked ashamed of what Ars had accused them of, because it was true, since they managed to crush a few pirate crews easily in the past they trained just enough to stay as strong as they currently were, but only 2 people in the entire kingdom kept pushing to become stronger. Those 2 were Ars, who was well known on the island for being a training maniac, and Fierzy who everyone saw as a little bit childish, because she hated losing so she was always trying to compete with others stronger than her.
But now, after being told off by Ars they were all feeling ashamed.
Ars then sighed and told them.
"For the next few weeks all of you will be resting on the island, until I return… Rook, go to the clinic and ask for one of the medical apprentices to prepare themselves for a trip at sea."
Rook grumbled inside, to himself, he knew the moment he entered the clinic it would be very lucky if his sister wouldn't start screeching at him, then he would get an earful from her and finally the same would happen again once the news reached his mother…
Then Ars looked at one of the soldiers and gave him an order.
"Go to the military headquarters and ask Kuina if she is there to choose 40 soldiers to go on a mission on the sea. If she is not, just group them as we usually did until now."
The soldier nodded and left, everyone else looked at Ars. Rook who was about to leave also looked at him curiously before asking.
"Who is this Kuina?"
Ars smiled and answered with a playful smile.
"Well she is your direct superior, for now, but in a few months she will be one of the queens.You don't need to kiss her ass though, that is closer to my job."
Everyone who heard him, got caught by surprise and laughed.
And then Ars commented to them.
"Enjoy your vacation, i will go say goodbye to my queens before getting ready to depart."
Rook decided to take the opportunity to tease him.
"Maybe you should use the opportunity to kiss their asses."
Ars laughed and simply answered.
"Maybe I will, and I will kiss something else too, after they are my wifes."
Rook grumbled quietly, until now other than calling him, your majesty, to tease him, nothing else seemed to work. And now he was immune to being called by his title… So no one had found something to tease him… Yet… He was too shameless.
Ars arrived at his home shortly after, like he expected every one of his queens was still here. They all looked at him, confused about why he was back so soon, he smiled at them and before they asked he explained.
"Rook just returned, and he is lightly injured, so while he recovers i will be the one going to the sea to acquire more people. So I came to say my goodbyes for the time being, and I remembered 2 more buildings important to the kingdom that i would like to be built, you guys can talk about them later with Nene and Rosar. Those buildings are an Orphanage and Market with stores on one side and a trading area on the other, this last area would be where everyone can come to sell as long as they pay for the spot."
They all nodded, those buildings were a good idea, then they all got up and kissed him goodbye.
After that he left directly for the ship, this time he decided to go quite far away from the kingdom. A small island near the calm belt. It was in the middle of a lawless area, so he was gonna check if anyone wanted to relocate to his kingdom.
And if no one wanted to come there were a lot of troubled kingdoms on the way back. Another reason he chose that distant island was exactly the fact that it was in the middle of a lawless island, he wanted to fight someone.
After a while, everyone was ready and they departed.
One of the days while sailing to his destination, Ars started humming a sea shanty. The soldiers got curious about what he was humming. One of them approached Ars and asked.
"Captain, what is that song-like sound you're humming?"
Ars looked at them surprised, first he didn't realize he was humming it loud enough for them to hear and second he somewhat expected them to know about sea shanties. Maybe people in the world of One piece had music, but no shanties… No, that couldn't be right.
He still remembered that at least one was shown in the series, binks' sake, maybe because they weren't sailors before, so they didn't know of it…That didn't make much sense to him so he asked them about it.
"You don't know about sea shanties?"
They looked at each other and then the one questioned Ars answered.
"We do, but we don't know the lyrics of any, we heard binks' sake in the past, but we never learned the lyrics."
Ars laughed and then started teaching the lyrics of some sea shanties he knew, from his past life, starting with binks' sake, then drunken saylor, leave her johnny, and others.
From then on the trip was filled with the sound of the sailors' voices trying their best to not butcher the shanties. It was a capela but it was better than nothing. Maybe in the future he would start bringing a musician…
On the way there, Ars spotted and got attacked by 3 pirate crews with bounties, they only managed to keep one ship, the other 2 were too damaged. They decided to stop on a kingdom with a marine base to change the heads for the bounties.
On the way there, they spotted a cruise ship, there was another ship by its side, at first they thought it was pirates but in reality it was the marines.
Ars and his soldiers approached, full of curiosity, but what they saw was horrible, the marine side was killing everyone on the ship.
Ars screamed at the marines.
"Stop, why are you the marines murdering civilians?"
The marine in charge, simply answered with a smug expression.
"They are hiding a dangerous criminal!"
Almost immediately, a marine came from inside the ship, and said to the marine captain.
"Captain, we didn't find her among the passengers, she might not be on the ship."
The marine captain turned to Ars, and accused him instantly, so he had a reason to attack Ars.
"You probably were the one who hid her after you arrived, surrender and we will not let you suffer for long."
Ars attacked the captain, the captain thought he could ignore Ars and that it was impossible for Ars to reach him with so many marines between them… He was wrong, very wrong, it didn't take 2 seconds for Ars to reach him, his eyes went wide and before he could beg, his head was already flying through the air.
Ars then looked at his men who were also furious and ordered.
"Make sure these monsters sleep with the fishes tonight, take no prisoners."
His men didn't need to be told twice they could go after those evil marines, in seconds the situation transformed into a huge slaughterhouse, with Ars reaping lives like farmers reaped wheat.
