Unlike the previous times where he barely felt a physical enhancement, this time he actually felt that he had become physically stronger, maybe two or two and half times stronger than before.
Not only that, but the fact that now he had 4 different abilities derived from akuma no mi and one from the fishmen lineage, made him insanely stronger than before.
The only difference he noticed from the normal akuma no mi, was the initial stage, in his case he would actually need to practice and study those abilities to be able to use them, unlike the instant knowledge that came with the fruits.
For example a zoan normally knew instantly how to turn into an animal, but in his case, he barely could change a finger for now, the good news was that once he mastered transformation for one of the abilities, all other abilities related to transformation would be the same or at the very least similar.
Something else he quickly realized was that he could pseudo create new transformations that weren't available by his current akuma no mis, for example currently there was a user for the wolf model, but even without his blood with a few more zoan samples, he would manage to create a similar transformations to it, just by using the sample from normal animals or creatures in the one piece world.
The other 2 had similar problems, the repel ability, sometimes worked, sometimes it didn't and sometimes he would accidentally use it. The ability to control hormones was working kinda normally, except the fact he could only use it on himself and currently couldn't use it on others.
The only ability he could use straight away was the ability to breath under water because it was a passive type.
He was happy but somewhat disappointed that he would need to train hard to achieve the same as others did just by eating a fruit, but he also understood he could have several, while others only one.
Now his only doubt was what would be the awakening. or how would it work… Did he have them? Or could he simply train and make it the normal power level instead… The first one could be good for an ace, the other would be for the best, making an ability that other used as an ace just like a normal ability would be beyond amazing, so he was hoping for the second type, that also meant he would have basically no limit to his strength future growth, any of the options would be a good outcome for Ars, it was just he needed extra time to train.
He refused to believe he couldn't reach the awakened level, or that his lab removed it.
He took a deep breath and decided to go out. Once outside he went to meet Elia first.
It didn't take long to find her.
She was talking with her little sisters who were also working as maids while sitting under a tree near the daycare.
They were also watching their younger siblings playing around with other children. When they saw him, they all got up and politely bowed and welcomed him back.
"Your majesty, welcome back!"
He greeted them back then looked at Elia and asked.
"Can you tell me, if anything important happened the last few days, while I wasn't available?"
Before she could answer Dawn and Solana, intervened and Dawn looked at her older sister apologetically, then at Ars who had a surprised face.
Ars and Elia nodded at the 2 sisters with a smile, until now they always acted a little bit stiffly, unless Ars gave them direct orders in a particular way, in short if he said I need you to… They would almost do it automatically and be somehow at ease doing it.
To be precise they would even feel happy and satisfied, any other time they would be a little bit awkward around him.
Dawn started.
"The last few days we went to help Madam Nene and Miss Rosar with their landfill project."
She stopped and Solana continued.
"We were planting the seeds of the plants that Miss Solar talked about, and together with them we discovered that the plants wouldn't grow near other living things, especially other plants."
Dawn continued on with the conversation.
"We also saw how fast the growth and death cycle from the plants are, it's very quick, and they are capable of absorbing decaying matter and waste at quick speeds, the plant also grows at an accelerated pace, before dying and quickly transforming into super rich soil, filled with nutrients and surfer fertile."
Ars smiled at them, patted their heads, and then added.
"Now the only thing missing, are the materials, to create an area where we can normally use those plants right"
They both nodded with a bit of pride on their faces. Then Ars continued.
"Keep working hard and doing a good job."
They got a bit shy and went a bit red but they nodded.
Elia also smiled at them before looking at Ars and starting her report.
"During this time, while master was unavailable, besides what they just explained, nothing else important happened but the adventurer that went to explore the área is back, and he would like to steak with you when you have time to do so."
He nodded and said.
"Now it's a good time, can you please call him? I will wait for him at my home, and Dawn can prepare tea and solana some snacks."
They all nodded, and went to do their designated tasks.
On the way back to his home he met Rook, and after greeting each other, Rook requested permission to go on a shopping trip.
"Your majesty, I hope you are doing well, I'm here to ask for permission to go acquire some necessary supplies and items for some people on the island, for example, Nori requested some blacksmith tools, so he can start working with a few apprentices he got here on the island, he would also like to buy some metal to work with."
Ars nodded, and signaled Rook to follow him. Once at his house he took some money and said to Rook.
"Here 10.000.000 berries to buy what everyone needs, and use the remaining money to buy some rock so we can start working on Nene's project."
Before Rook had managed to leave, there was a knock on the door, Ars thinking it was Elia with the explorer said.
"You know you can enter…"
The door opened and unexpectedly it was Tom, with a very happy and excited face, Tom greeted them, before asking.
"Would it be possible to build a ship?"
Ars was going to refuse the request, after all they were currently missing the materials to build one, but before he could, Tom clarified.
"I think your majesty misunderstood what I meant. Just now a man brought a bunch of martial arts manuals, as he arrived he noticed that we had a free shipyard, and asked if we could build and repair ships. I did reply that we currently have no materials, but he asked if brought the materials, would it be possible to build or repair them, and i answered that we can, but since the kingdom is in a period of rapid growth, every single builder on the kingdom is normally busy building other stuff, but if his majesty gave permission it would be possible to allocate enough people to do it decently fast."
Ars nodded and after thinking about it he saw no downsides for the kingdom, so he said.
"Sure, I don't see why not, I will let you decide the amount that needs to be paid for the ship, or the work on the ship."
Tom and Rook left together, both hyped about their next job.
Through the window Ars could see a few of his men carrying boxes, so he went and opened the door for them. With them there was a man Ars didn't know, all of the men that had just arrived greeted him and one asked.
"Your majesty, where can we leave these boxes?"
Ars pointed at one free area in the room they were currently in, and replied.
"You can leave them there!"
They all nodded and quickly left the boxes and departed to get more of the boxes, leaving only the man that Ars didn't know behind. The man looked at Ars and requested.
"Your majesty, I would like it if it was possible to allocate a few people to help build a new ship. The one I'm currently on is still usable and can navigate with no problems but some important parts are quite damaged. so I would like to get myself a new one."
Ars nodded and replied to him calmly.
"Tom was just here talking about it and he already explained the situation to me, this was not even a minute before you guys arrived. I already gave him permission to allocate the men he thinks are necessary to build the ship, but only once all the materials are prepared for them to build the ship, and I left the price negotiations to Tom."
The man's eyes showed some happiness and he thanked Ars.
"I thank your majesty for the help."
The man had known that the current state of his ship was pretty deplorable.
On the inside even with non trained eyes you could see damage everywhere. So when he realized that this island might have a shipwright he asked Tom, to meet them, to his pleasant surprise Tom was one of the 2 professional shipwrights on the island.
Then the man asked Tom to check the condition of his ship. When Tom was done, he warned him that his ship was in a pretty bad condition, he already expected it so it didn't surprise him.
Finally Tom had given him an estimation of how long the ship could still sail. According to Tom it was at most a year and more likely would be 6 months. Those times only applied if the ship did not receive more damage in that time period.
After he thought about it, he decided to ask if it was possible to acquire a new ship here.
Since it was possible, the man showed some happiness and gratitude, it wasn't every place that would build ships while knowing of his background.
The man got up, said his goodbyes to Ars and left, preparing to depart to buy the materials.
A few minutes later Elia finally arrived with the adventurer. Elia looked at Ars and said.
"Your majesty, unless I'm required for further tasks I will go help the other maids, in case their tasks are yet to be completed."
Ars nodded, then looked at the explorer who introduced himself.
"Your majesty I'm Nerve Julio, an adventurer and an explorer, it's a pleasure to meet you."
Ars nodded and replied.
"It's a pleasure to meet you too, but first I have a request…"
Juilo showed a confused face, they just met and he already had a request, then Ars continued.
"Next time you wish to take something from my house, don't simply walk in and take it, at the end of the day it is still my house, and that is invasion of privacy."
Julio had already realized that what he did was very rude, but at that point in time he was too excited and couldn't hold himself back any longer, so he basically committed a crime without realising it at the time, he then looked at Ars apologetically and responded resolutely with.
"It will not happen again!"
At that moment the 3 maids came out and arranged the snacks and the tea in front of them, before standing by the side awaiting new orders.
Ars looked at them and said.
"Only one needs to stay for now."
The 3 of them nodded and looked at each other and the 2 youngest left to go play around with their other siblings.
