He was a creature of some legend? A Sarori? It should be an inconceivable thought but the evidence was right before him.
Yuta couldn't tear his gaze away from the way a cloud of dark smoke oozed from Elrien's lips, and the demon's intense eyes were contorted with an emotion resembling pain as though he had been burnt.
The taste of the sweetest copper still burned on Elrien's tongue, leaving trails of fire that glided down his throat like lava.
He hadn't meant to bite so hard, to draw blood and reveal all that he was to Yuta.
He had been too enraged and had lost all manner of reasoning.
