Chapter 135 - Chapter 134: Hitt's Ability, The Escaped Ornest!

Among the gathered warriors, a heavy silence followed the death of the Emperor. But that silence was quickly shattered by disbelief and curiosity.

"Hey… what just happened?" Goku blinked, still processing what he had just witnessed. "I saw Hitt move, and then suddenly he was holding the Emperor's body. What did he even do?!"

Vegeta folded his arms and scoffed. "Hmph. So even you didn't catch it, Kakarot."

Goku turned to him, curious. "Wait, Vegeta, don't tell me—you saw it clearly?"

"Hmph. Of course I…" Vegeta hesitated, then muttered, "…did not."

Goku laughed. "So you didn't see it either. I thought you were about to explain it all!"

Piccolo narrowed his eyes, his arms crossed tightly. "Is Hit really that fast? I didn't even sense him move."

Beerus, the God of Destruction, tapped his chin thoughtfully. "No… it's not just about speed. That move of his—it's like he skipped time."

"Skipped time?" Goku echoed, puzzled. "Lord Beerus, what does that mean?"

Beerus shrugged. "Don't ask me. I don't use that kind of technique. If you want to know, ask someone from Universe 6."

Gabe, standing nearby, raised his hand. "Actually… we don't really know either."

He gave an awkward chuckle. "Even in Universe 6, Senior Hitt is a legendary figure. No one really understands the full extent of his abilities—his strength, his techniques… all of it is shrouded in mystery."

"But if there's anyone who knows," he added, glancing to the side, "it's probably Lord Champa."

Beerus raised an eyebrow. "Well, Champa, what did Hitt do just now? Enlighten us."

Champa snorted. "Why should I tell you anything? This is our secret weapon!"

Beerus smirked. "Oh, I get it now—you don't know what happened."

Champa's face turned red. "What?! Of course I know! I'm the God of Destruction of Universe 6! There's nothing in my universe I don't know!"

Beerus leaned back lazily. "Sure. If Vados said that, maybe I'd believe it."

He grinned. "But if you're the one saying it… yeah, not a chance."

Whis chuckled lightly. "I've heard of techniques that allow someone to manipulate time—to store a short moment and then skip through it."

"I believe that's what Hitt just did."

Vados nodded in agreement. "Yes. That is one of the abilities that makes Hitt the most feared assassin in Universe 6."

She turned to the others. "His technique is called the Time-Skip, or as we call it, the Flash Time Technique."

Hitt, who had remained silent, finally spoke. "Correct. That's my ability."

Champa turned angrily toward him. "Hey! Hitt! Wasn't it a bit much to use your best move just to deal with that spoiled Emperor?"

Champa grumbled, "Now that you've revealed your trump card, the fighters from Universe 7 might figure out a way to counter it in the next tournament!"

Hitt remained calm. "I never underestimate any target. And when I use the Flash Time Technique, I guarantee a one-hit kill."

Gabe nodded eagerly. "Exactly! You should trust Senior Hitt, Lord Champa."

He added, "Besides, even if he uses the Flash Time Technique, there's no guarantee the warriors from Universe 7 will figure out a way to beat it!"

Goku's eyes sparkled. "Wow… I didn't know Hitt had such an incredible ability! I'm really looking forward to fighting him next time!"

Krillin chimed in. "That Time-Skip move… I saw it listed in the system mall once. But it's insanely expensive! Way more than the Turtle School's Kamehameha or even the Ultimate Flash!"

Piccolo nodded. "Makes sense. Any move that manipulates time is bound to cost more. Time-based techniques are in a league of their own."

Indeed, Hit's abilities had stunned not only Tazmi and Chi Tong but everyone else who witnessed his power. None of them had ever seen such a precise, clean, and instantaneous kill.

After finishing off the Emperor of the Empire, Hitt dropped the lifeless body in front of Tazmi and Chi Tong with a thud.

"I've dealt with the Emperor. The only one left is the man who manipulated him."

Chi Tong stepped forward. "Yes. But I don't know where Ornest is right now. My teammate might have a clue."

"There's no need," Hitt said simply. "I already know where he is."

Thanks to the system's real-time battlefield scan, Hitt had tracked Minister Ornest's presence earlier. And given the sudden disappearance of the Supreme Throne, Ornest must have sensed danger and tried to escape. But in such a short time, where could he possibly run?

Without further delay, Hitt rose into the sky and flew off with purpose in one direction.

Tazmi turned to Chi Tong, eyes wide with curiosity. "Chi Tong… who is that guy? You said he was called in to help us?"

Chi Tong gave a small nod, though she still looked dazed by the turn of events.

"I don't know who he is. When I saw you struggling against the Emperor, a voice whispered in my ear, asking if I wanted help."

"I said yes… and then that gentleman arrived."

Tazmi's eyes widened further. "Wait—so you didn't summon him directly? That man was sent by whoever spoke to you?"

Chi Tong nodded. "Yes. And I noticed something else. The voice that spoke to me—it didn't belong to the man who arrived. They weren't the same person."

Tazmi was stunned.

If that man was strong enough to defeat the Emperor with a single blow, then how powerful must the person who sent him be?

Fortunately, that person was on their side.

If not… the consequences would be unimaginable.

They both looked down at the fallen Emperor. Though he was young, there was no sympathy in their eyes. The boy had allowed the Empire to fall into ruin, blindly following Minister Ornest's every word without ever questioning it.

He wasn't a tyrant—but he was a puppet.

And in many ways, a foolish puppet was more dangerous than a cruel one.

He had unknowingly become a tool of oppression. And now, his fate had been sealed.

Meanwhile, Hitt had already located Minister Ornest's trail.

Initially, Ornest was stunned by the Emperor's death. He hadn't expected things to fall apart so quickly. But when the Supreme Throne vanished along with its master, he understood the gravity of the situation.

The Emperor was dead.

And that meant the only logical choice left was to run.

However, Hitt had anticipated this. In his line of work, targets often tried to flee—but none ever succeeded.

When Hitt appeared in front of Minister Ornest, the old man froze.

"Who are you? Get out of my way!"

Ornest tried to bark with authority, but there was fear in his voice. He didn't recognize Hitt, but he knew instinctively—this was no ordinary assassin.

This was someone who had come to eliminate him.

And if the Emperor was already dead… then he was next.

Still, Ornest tried to escape. His plans weren't finished. He had secret escape routes and backup plans in place.

But in front of Hitt, those plans were worthless.

Hitt's crimson eyes locked on to his next target.

"You're the last loose end," he said coldly.

Minister Ornest turned and ran.

But in a flash—he disappeared.
