Chapter 308 - Another Day at Ninja Academy

Besides Chidori Senbon, there is also a long-range Lightning Release: Chidori Sharp Spear. Its effect is to transform Chidori into the shape of a spear for attack.

If Chidori Senbon belongs to the long-range Chidori, then Chidori Sharp Spear belongs to the medium-range Chidori.

Kitazawa planned to teach it to Sasuke after he mastered Chidori Senbon. With his Two-Tomoe Sharingan and Kakashi's guidance, he should be able to learn it in about half a month or a month.

After teaching Chidori Senbon to Sasuke, Kitazawa returned to the Training Ground, where his study group was located.

As usual, he formed hand seals and created two Shadow Clones. These two Shadow Clones would stay on the Training Ground to guide the students.

He himself found an open space to practice Ninjutsu: Creation Rebirth: Hundred Healings Technique.

Since obtaining Master-level Yang Release Chakra Nature Transformation, his learning speed had increased significantly.

Kitazawa estimated that he would master Creation Rebirth: Hundred Healings Technique by the end of the month or early next month. After learning this Medical Ninjutsu, his survival ability would be maximized.

Theoretically, as long as he had enough Chakra, he would be immortal. And his Chakra volume had now surpassed Tsunade's, reaching an astonishing twelve units.

Of course, the more Chakra, the better. He hoped to trigger related system missions later on.

Around noon, Kitazawa stopped his training.

"Kitazawa-sensei, come eat!" Ino waved to him from a distance.

After twelve o'clock was lunchtime.

If Kitazawa had no other plans, he would always eat with Ino and the others. However, before, it was always Hinata who came to call him.

"Kitazawa-sensei, we've already set up—we're just waiting for you!" Ino said with a smile after he approached.

"Well done." Kitazawa raised his hand and patted her head.

Not far away, a picnic blanket had been spread out, along with six small tables. Hinata noticed Kitazawa's action and felt a little envious of Ino.

"Let's go." Kitazawa walked forward and sat cross-legged on the picnic blanket. Hinata, who had been waiting, quickly took the seat to his left.

"You guys wait for me for a moment." Kitazawa suddenly remembered something, stood up, and went to an open space not far away.

Kimimaro, Jugo, Tayuya, and Haku were still training.

"Lunch break is here. Training suspended—continue in the afternoon." Kitazawa clapped his hands and said.

"Lunch break?" Tayuya showed a startled expression upon hearing this.

There was no such thing as a lunch break in Otogakure; fighting on an empty stomach all day was common.

Kimimaro and Jugo also felt surprised. The Genius Class training was too relaxed.

"Did you bring lunch?" Kitazawa asked again.

"I brought a bento," Haku replied.

He had already started bringing bentos when he was in Anbu and kept the habit after joining the Genius Class.

Kimimaro and the other two shook their heads. They didn't have this concept, so naturally, they didn't bring bentos.

"Remember to bring it next time." Kitazawa reminded them, "From now on, we'll eat lunch at this time."

He remembered that Yakushi Nono made many bentos for the children at the Konoha Orphanage every day.

But because there were too many people, she simply let them go to the cafeteria to get it themselves.

Kimimaro and the other two either didn't know or didn't pay attention. Kitazawa thought the latter was more likely.

"For lunch today, you'll eat the bento I made." Kitazawa handed each of them a bento box.

He always carried various foods with him—one was for snack rewards for students, the second was for emergencies, such as feeding Hinata and the like.

"I'm not eating!" Tayuya refused, saying, "Who knows what you put in there… Ouch!"

She instinctively covered her forehead, which Kitazawa had just flicked.

"Eat when I tell you to eat. What's with all the nonsense?" Kitazawa looked at her, his tone flat, and said, "If you don't eat it all, don't even think about seeing Orochimaru again."

"…" Tayuya instinctively bit her lip but dared not speak again.

"Come with me." Kitazawa turned and returned to where Sasuke and Ino were having their meal.

Kimimaro and Jugo exchanged glances. They both felt uncomfortable.

In Otogakure, everyone was independent and had no connections—because they were all enemies who fought each other.

"Kimimaro, you guys sit here with me!" Naruto saw them and said enthusiastically.

He held his bento box and made space for them.

"Sasuke, move over a bit." Naruto looked left and right, squeezed in with Sasuke, and elbowed him.

"Sasuke-kun!" Sakura saw an opportunity and quickly said, "We still have space here!"

"No need." Sasuke glanced at her and said with a calm expression.

Kitazawa looked at the two sitting together and suddenly thought of that famous scene from his previous life, the kiss between the two.

If he could replicate it, could it help Sasuke awaken his Sharingan?

Kitazawa shook his head. Given the current strength of Sasuke and Naruto, such a replication would be difficult. They could easily dodge before it even happened.

Although Kitazawa could set them up, it would be troublesome. And if it were discovered, it would affect his image.

Moreover, Sasuke might not even meet the basic conditions for awakening the Three-Tomoe Sharingan.

Anyway, there was still plenty of time—no rush. Even without the Three-Tomoe Sharingan, Sasuke still had a high probability of defeating Kimimaro.

Kitazawa planned to have Kakashi give Sasuke special training this month, especially in taijutsu and sword skills.

Kimimaro's greatest strengths lie in Shikotsumyaku and taijutsu. And because of the power of Shikotsumyaku, his taijutsu was nearly invincible—or rather, it greatly countered taijutsu-type Ninja.

Normal taijutsu fights were all fist-to-flesh, but he was different—directly using sturdy bones against flesh and blood. This naturally gave him a huge advantage.

Fortunately, Sasuke was not a pure taijutsu Ninja.

"Kitazawa-sensei." Hinata reached out and tugged at his sleeve.

Kitazawa came back to his senses and found everyone waiting for him to speak.

This was a Ninja World dining etiquette. If he didn't say "start," no one else would dare to eat first.

"Let's eat," Kitazawa said with a slight smile.

"I'm digging in!" Naruto excitedly opened his bento box.

"I'm digging in!" everyone else echoed.

Only Kimimaro, Jugo, and Tayuya did not. Because they didn't know about this dining etiquette.

In Otogakure, they rarely even sat at a table to eat; they would just find a corner and finish their meal.

Twenty minutes later, everyone except Hinata and Akimichi Choji had finished eating.

"...?" Tayuya looked at Hinata, her face full of confusion.

Such a small body—why can you eat so much?

But soon, her confusion turned to shock. This was no longer something that could be explained by just being able to eat a lot; she was practically not human.

Kimimaro and Jugo also felt surprised. They couldn't understand why Hinata could eat so much.

Choji's impact on them was smaller because of his physique.

"Indeed." Ino noticed their expressions and couldn't help but laugh.

"A classic moment." Shikamaru smiled and said.

"It's hard not to be surprised," Sakura said enviously. "I wish I had Hinata's physique; then I could eat all the delicious food."

"Yeah." Tenten nodded in strong agreement.

While they were chatting, Kitazawa found Kakashi and discussed Sasuke and Kimimaro with him.

Kakashi naturally knew about the Kaguya Clan and Shikotsumyaku. It was really hard to say who would win or lose when Sasuke faced Kimimaro.

However, he had already taken Sasuke as his personal student, so he agreed to Kitazawa without hesitation.

After lunch, Sasuke, Naruto, and the others returned to the Genius Class classroom to rest.

---

Kitazawa also returned to his office.

He pushed open the door and saw Konan sitting on the sofa, reading some documents.

Unlike Tsunade's casualness, her posture was very proper—her long legs were together, her back straight, and the outline of her clothes faintly visible.

For ease of reading, she had removed her Anbu mask.

"Any insights?" Kitazawa walked up to her.

These documents were what he had given Konan. The content contained some economic knowledge he had learned in class in his previous life.

"Very… amazing." Konan didn't know how to evaluate it.

The content of these documents was entirely new to her, yet it fit reality perfectly.

She felt that this was a pattern summarized from current economic activities, although it was still very superficial.

Konan couldn't understand why a Ninja would study these things.

No, this wasn't even something a Ninja should concern themselves with—even merchants rarely studied such matters.

Kitazawa couldn't help but smile. He hadn't even gotten to the real point yet, such as market regulation.

But slowly, as Konan's curiosity grew, she would want to learn more.

"If there's anything you don't understand, you can ask me." Kitazawa sat on the sofa, waved his hand, and said.

"Why are you showing me these?" Konan couldn't help but ask.

"I think you have a knack for economics," Kitazawa said casually. "The more knowledge you gain, the more money you'll be able to earn in the future."

"Thank you." Konan was silent for a moment, then said.

"No need to thank me. This is also a transaction." Kitazawa blinked and said, "I plan to take a nap, but I'm missing a pillow."

"A pillow? Then I'll get one for you." Konan was slightly startled, then immediately stood up.

"No need to waste time like that," Kitazawa said with a serious expression. "A lap pillow will do. I'll sleep, you continue reading, and we won't disturb each other."

Konan hesitated for two seconds, then nodded.

She sat down again, her legs together, and patted away non-existent dust with her hand. Her full thighs trembled slightly.

Kitazawa lay on his side on the sofa, his head resting on her soft yet firm thigh.

Konan looked like she wanted to speak, but held back. She really wanted to say that his direction was wrong, that his face should be facing outward.

But in the end, she said nothing—she picked up the documents and quickly entered a focused state, appearing very serious and aloof.

Kitazawa's gaze was directly on her lower abdomen.

But there was nothing to see, as her clothes completely covered it.

However, it had to be said that this kind of cold and elegant older woman gave off a different feeling—very quiet, and also very suitable for sleeping.

"Remember to wake me up." Kitazawa fell asleep shortly after.

Time slowly passed.

"Kitazawa, ten minutes left." Konan glanced at the clock on the wall, then looked down at Kitazawa and reminded him.

Kitazawa instinctively sat up. He immediately felt his head bump into something soft and warm.

"Sorry, I—" Kitazawa immediately reacted, opened his eyes, and said.

"It's nothing."

He hadn't finished speaking when Konan interrupted him. Her expression remained unchanged, as calm as ever.

"Then I'll go to class first. See you later."

Seeing this, Kitazawa didn't say anything more. He changed the subject and got up to leave the office.

After he left, Konan subconsciously looked down. She could still vaguely feel a slight peculiarity.

---

The afternoon was the same as the morning—both dedicated to training.

As the sun set, it was time for school to end.

"Teacher Kitazawa, goodbye!" The students of the Genius Class all bid farewell and left the Ninja Academy.

In the blink of an eye, only Kimimaro, Tayuya, Jugo, and Haku remained.

"How did you feel about your first theory class?" Kitazawa looked at them and asked.

"Very free," Kimimaro said concisely.

"It's too lenient, not harsh enough!" Tayuya snorted and said, "This kind of training method won't produce strong individuals!"

Kitazawa had often wondered about something in his previous life. The training that Tayuya and the others underwent was hellish, yet even in such an environment, they remained fiercely loyal to Orochimaru.

However, Kitazawa now understood some things. One could only say that this Ninja World was too pathological. Tayuya and the others had no other choice but to rely on Orochimaru.

"When the Monthly Exam comes, you'll know if the Genius Class has strong individuals." Kitazawa tapped her forehead and said, "I'll walk you all back."

Tayuya rubbed her forehead and pouted. The group walked towards the Orphanage.

As Tayuya walked down the street, she was once again drawn to the ice cream shop nearby. She subconsciously swallowed.

"September is probably the last month to eat ice cream," Kitazawa stopped, smiled, and said. "I'll treat you all to ice cream."

Tayuya was momentarily stunned. Kimimaro, Jugo, and Haku remained standing still.

"If you don't choose, then I'll choose for you." Kitazawa reminded them, "Don't blame me if you get an ice cream that doesn't suit your taste."

"I'll choose myself!" Tayuya immediately ran into the ice cream shop.

Kitazawa looked at Kimimaro and the others. The three hesitated for a moment, then also walked inside.

Kitazawa bought a chocolate-flavored ice cream. He originally wanted to get one for Kurenai, but he was afraid it would melt and not taste good by the time he got home.

Kitazawa subconsciously looked at Haku. His Ice Release could ensure the ice cream wouldn't melt.

"Haku, make a few ice cubes," Kitazawa thought for a moment and said.

Although Haku hadn't learned Ice Release: Ice Rock Dome of Magnificent Nothingness yet, making a few ice cubes was no problem.

Kitazawa placed the vanilla ice cream he bought among the ice cubes, then put it into a Summoning Storage Scroll.

This way, Kurenai could also eat it when he got home.

On the other side, after Tayuya licked her ice cream, a smile immediately appeared on her face. The taste was even more delicious than she had expected.

From this perspective, Konoha Village was stronger than Otogakure.

Unfortunately, she didn't have money now. Although she could ask Kitazawa or Nono for money, she had her pride.

The good news was that she had heard Ino say that if they completed missions in the new practical exam, they would receive a certain reward.

"Let's go." After Kitazawa dropped them off at the Konoha Orphanage, he turned and went home.

He took out his key and entered the house.

"I'm home!" Kitazawa called out, then bent down to change his shoes.

A whooshing sound rang out. Kurenai suddenly appeared in front of him and grabbed his wrist.

At the point of their contact, black talismans surged out, but they stopped abruptly just as they spread past his shoulder.

Kurenai showed an unwilling expression.

"It seems you haven't mastered the Self Curse Seal yet," Kitazawa broke free from her hand, finished changing his shoes, and said.

"Damn it!" Kurenai clenched her fists and said, "I'll definitely master it this year!"

"I thought you'd say this month." Kitazawa couldn't help but smile.

"I'm not you." Kurenai couldn't help but punch him lightly and said, "If I had your talent, I'd definitely learn it this month."

"I actually don't have much talent," Kitazawa blinked and said.

"If you don't have talent, then who in the Ninja World does?" Kurenai rolled her eyes, not believing a word.

"Your talent is already very strong," Kitazawa said, grabbing her hand and leading her into the living room.

"It just can't compare to you freaks," Kurenai shook her head, very self-aware.

"I bought you vanilla ice cream." Kitazawa sat on the sofa and opened the Summoning Storage Scroll.

"Still preserved with ice cubes?" Kurenai was stunned for a moment, feeling a little touched. "You didn't have to go to so much trouble."

"It's Haku's Ice Release." Kitazawa smiled and said, "I just used what was available."

"Ice Release, huh?" Kurenai took a bite of the vanilla ice cream, her body shivered slightly, and she said, "That really is convenient."

"How does it taste? Let me try." Kitazawa stood up and kissed her.

Kurenai was slightly startled and glared at him. However, that gaze held no threat—only a hint of charm.

"Quite sweet," Kitazawa said with a smile.

"No wonder you only bought one ice cream."

Kurenai plopped down on the sofa and complained, "You, always thinking about all sorts of messy things."

"Then why didn't you refuse?" Kitazawa reached out and caressed her cheek.

"I…" Kurenai was speechless for a moment.

Kitazawa's gaze fell on her face.

Because she was at home, she was wearing a loose nightgown. The neckline of the gown was wide open, and her fair skin looked as soft and inviting as the ice cream.

"Eat quickly," Kitazawa urged her.

"Why eat so fast?" Kurenai looked up and met his burning gaze.

Her heart trembled, and she suddenly felt like the vanilla ice cream in her hand—melting, with only one possible outcome.

Kurenai shifted her gaze. Just then, she felt a chill, and her nightgown slid to the floor.

Kitazawa took her vanilla ice cream, then released his hand. Fair skin and white ice cream combined, leaving behind only sweetness.
