It wasn't just Bakugo Katsuki launching an attack.
Anyone in Class 1-A with even the slightest long-range ability went wild at that moment, pelting the enemy in the center with everything they had—Aoyama Yuga's navel laser, Jiro Kyoka's sonic waves, Yaoyorozu Momo's cannon fire… and those with close-combat quirks? They simply picked up nearby rocks and hurled them straight at the "villain" in the middle—who happened to be All Might.
The scene could only be described in one word: brutal.
Without a doubt, All Might had just been gang-beaten by an entire class.
"Mm. Things are going pretty much as expected,"
Eraserhead, standing far away on top of a building, slowly closed his notebook, put away his pen, and started walking toward the stairwell.
Tragic. Far too tragic.
When someone—she couldn't even tell who—lobbed an egg that smacked All Might right in the forehead, Konata quickly tore her gaze away and shut her eyes, going back to pretending she was dead in Todoroki's arms.
It's not that she didn't want to help All Might. But if she suddenly jumped down, laughed, and told everyone, "Surprise! This was all a prank from me and All Might-sensei! You can stop attacking him now! Aren't you shocked? Aren't you happy?" …she was one hundred percent sure she'd get beaten up too.
She had a feeling All Might himself might join in.
Better him than me, she thought. With his strength, none of these attacks could actually hurt him anyway. As for her, she'd just stay "dead" and quietly think about how to deal with the incoming storm of everyone's anger later.
Also… Todoroki, could you please turn off your ice? My body's about to freeze solid here!
As Konata predicted, the moment All Might saw Midoriya about to use One For All at 100%, he ripped off his mask and revealed his identity.
Ending the exercise here was perfect—nobody got seriously hurt, and All Might had seen everyone's potential. If Midoriya had really gone all out, All Might would've been fine, but Midoriya's arm definitely wouldn't have been.
And then… everyone rushed him again. Directly. No hesitation.
Beautiful. Like poetry in motion.
Todoroki quietly looked down at the girl in his arms.
"Uh… good morning?"
Konata blinked up at him, awkwardly raising a hand in greeting.
Todoroki: "…"
With Aizawa-sensei and Thirteen arriving, the whole incident wrapped up neatly—well, except for All Might being mercilessly pummeled.
As for the damages… well, this whole area would need repairs again, but Konata remembered the school had a "Cementoss" teacher, so it shouldn't take long to fix.
Oh, and Mineta lost the egg he was saving as a snack.
And Konata? She was the only one actually "injured" in the incident.
…She'd caught a cold from being frozen in Todoroki's arms. A very real cold.
See? She'd said it before—
In a kidnapping, the hostage is always the one who suffers most!

In U.A.'s infirmary, Konata sat on the bed wrapped in a blanket, wearing headphones and playing on her phone.
Other than the classroom, this was probably the place she knew best in the entire school. Since the start of term, she'd lost count of how many times she'd been here. Recovery Girl might as well be family at this point.
Maybe her bad luck from her past life had carried over to this one… too bad she hadn't brought over any "girl-attracting" skills with it.
It was almost sunset, school had ended, and honestly, a cold wasn't serious at all—Recovery Girl could heal it in seconds. But maybe because Konata visited way too often, Recovery Girl refused.
In her words: She'd just used her quirk a few days ago to heal Konata's knee, and it wasn't all-powerful—it only accelerated natural healing. For Konata's long-term health, she wouldn't use it again so soon.
So here Konata was, forced to swallow cold medicine and sulk under a blanket while gaming.
Midnight-sensei still had things to take care of, so Konata decided to wait here. It's not like she had anywhere else to go.
"Senbonzakura, huh… this song could work. 'World is mine' singing it would be kind of embarrassing, though. Sure, the dance moves load automatically, but me dancing? Yeah, no thanks… I'll put it as 'pending.' Next… hmm, 'Rolling Girl' looks promising."
She hummed a few lines softly, then shook her head.
"Nope. Definitely need Hatsune Miku's concert mode for this, otherwise it just doesn't feel right. Next song, next song…"
For a while, the only sound in the room was her quiet humming.
"Hey."
The impatient voice from the doorway snapped her out of it.
"Uh… good morning?"
She looked up and froze. Standing there was the last person she expected to see here.
"…Morning."
Bakugo glanced at the sunset streaming through the window, his face anything but friendly.
"You doing this on purpose?"
"Oh—uh, good afternoon. Is something wrong? Recovery Girl's not here right now, but if you tell me, I can pass it on for you later."
She quickly took off her headphones, looking at him expectantly.
"Here."
The bag in Bakugo's hand arced through the air and landed neatly in her lap.
"…Durian?"
Konata stared at it, lips twitching. So this was who had sent her that durian last time. But really—visiting a sick person with durian? That's… a choice.
"Kacchan?"
Midoriya's confused voice came from behind him.
