My name is Clot, and my life has been a lot of job hopping… from this to that to now here… I somehow am running a drone operation… which is funded by the United States government!

Anyway, this job might be one of the most important but odd jobs I have had in my entire life…
Not because this is insane – that I am doing a job for a government, a secret job! some FBI shit… No, I have done government jobs before…
Drone bombing…
Missile evasion...
Even cyberattacks… Everything which is possible without actually going out there and fighting physically… you name it, I have done it.
And why does the government come to me? for such jobs? because they don't want to get their hands dirty. Paying someone by crypto is much simpler than moving guns and equipment and men across the country borders…
Plus if I get caught, I am the person who did this, not the US government… The government gets to walk away innocent, while I will probably rot in jail for most of my life for doing a job for the US government…
I am, in simpler words, a mercenary, but I guess 'modern mercenary' would be a better term. Anyway, the reason this job in particular is odd is because…
Well, it's just simple information gathering and video recording… The government does not need me to do this; they have the FBI and sleeper cells all around the world.
So why the hell are they giving me this job? It does not make sense. I am pretty sure the FBI could do a better job at gathering information than me…
Unless the information they are telling me to grab is so important that if the US were caught doing this… either their reputation would take a huge hit or…

Ha, no, that won't happen, impossible… There is no way I would get such an insane job…
But even though I was sure this job should not be that important…
All I was supposed to do was video record this part of Japan, a very unknown, possibly even remote, part of the woods.
But when I actually started the operation and got to the position, I had set up my drones high up. They were able to do that because they were my specially made drones; they could fly at high altitudes with the ability to record 4k live video…
But what I saw was something that left me speechless…
"What the fuck?"
I could not believe what I was seeing: a girl beating up two other girls. They looked like young students? But their hand-to-hand combat was way too good for their age. Not only that, did that girl wearing glasses just CUT a BULLET in half? She even caught one!!!
Clot got up from his table; his coffee fell off his table.
"WHAT? Is that panda fighting?? How is that blond girl flying?? How is that guy shooting? What even is that? Is that some sort of red nanotech or something?"
Clot grabbed his own mouth shut…
This is insane… animals fighting humans, and most of the humans are young…
Is Japan somehow doing superhuman experiments on children and animals?!
If so, then they have already succeeded! Not only that, they might already have an army… If teens could do this, what could a grown man do?
Oh god… Fuck this! This makes sense of why the US wanted me to do this job! This information… could start a war!

A young man jogged slowly up to the gate; his hair was wild, really wild, like some of his hair was cut and some was not. He had bandages around his arms, and he wore a jacket, and under that jacket were a plain white t-shirt and black sweatpants. He looked like he was here for a jog or something…

I have a feeling this is going to be annoying… Because why the hell was Nanami standing at the gate?"
He looks the same; in fact, in real life he looks even better and more tired. Anyway, I didn't expect to see him here… But again, I know none of this; I am walking into pure chaos… But does it even matter? I doubt there is anyone who could actually give me a good fight. This is not as safe as I expected it to be, but… Last time I went to Yaga, he said Gojo was working on the barriers of the Kyoto Will event, but what the hell is this then?
This is the type of shit I could do in a few days; this barrier is not even that good….
And I don't know much about barriers other than how it feels to be in a really good barrier since I have been in like 2 Domina expansions now, but still… It's weird how bad this barrier is…
