After finishing his "business," Ryosuke left the Senju compound, heading toward the gates.
There, waiting for him, stood Shizune. She had been rooted in place since dawn, her expression vacant, her eyes clouded with emotion.
The night before, she had approached Lady Tsunade's room, only to hear the unmistakable sounds echoing from within—the cries, the shouts, the pleasure.
It wasn't forced. No, Tsunade's voice had been far too delighted.
The realization burned Shizune from the inside out.
Unbelievable.
The same man who had told her she would be his woman—who had gone so far as to touch her, to push her boundaries—had turned around and taken Tsunade for himself. And not just anyone, but Tsunade-sama, the very person Shizune respected above all others.
Her hands curled into fists.
Part of her wanted to storm up and demand an answer, to spit her anger at him. Another part of her, quieter but just as painful, whispered regret. If only she hadn't resisted him yesterday… if only she had let herself go, maybe she would have been the first.
Instead, she had hesitated, and Tsunade had stolen the moment.
Yet the thought of giving herself so easily still terrified her. It would have been her first time. How could she possibly endure that?
Beeut then another pang hit her—how was it possible for the two of them to remain together for an entire day and night? The idea gnawed at her, filling her with envy. That was the treatment she longed for, and it had been taken from her.
As these thoughts churned, Ryosuke approached, spotting her by the gate. His brow furrowed slightly.
"Shizune, you don't look well. What's wrong?"
Her eyes sharpened, her heart twisting at the absurdity of his question. He has the nerve to ask me that?
Her voice snapped like a whip.
"Why did you do that with Tsunade-sama?"
Ryosuke froze, then sighed, understanding immediately that she had overheard everything. He offered her a calm smile, his words deliberate.
"Shizune, you know the Uchiha and Senju share the same ancestor. For generations, we fought, shedding endless blood. What I did was to bring that hatred to an end."
Shizune blinked, stunned. The same ancestor? If that was true, then the Senju and Uchiha weren't enemies at all—they were brothers turned against each other. Such killing truly was senseless.
And yet… her heart rebelled.
"Even so, there's no need for… for that to end a feud." Her voice cracked, full of hurt. The longer she thought about it, the more it stung. They hadn't just spent a night together—they had clung to each other endlessly.
Ryosuke spread his hands with a helpless smile.
"There's no better way to ensure peace. From now on, our clans won't clash again."
Beeut Shizune's anger only deepened. Her eyes glistened with unshed tears.
"Then what am I to you? You told me to be your woman—and now you run to another. To her."
Her chest heaved as the betrayal spilled out.
Seeing her like that tugged at Ryosuke's heart. Without thinking, he pulled her into his arms. His voice was gentle.
"What are you talking about? You're my woman too."
Her breath caught, her tears halting. She stared at him in disbelief.
"You mean… both? That's too greedy. Too selfish."
Beeut Ryosuke only chuckled.
"For a man like me, having multiple women is only natural."
Shizune's face flushed scarlet. Her mind swirled.
Multiple? How many more are there?
"You mean you already have others?" she asked, horrified. "Aren't you afraid Tsunade-sama will find out and crush you?"
Ryosuke smirked, unbothered.
"Why would I be afraid? Tsunade is already my woman. And as for others—of course a man as exceptional as me can't be tied down to just one."
His words should have enraged her, but instead, they left her speechless. Ryosuke was no ordinary man—he was now one of the most powerful shinobi alive, head of the Uchiha clan, feared and respected across the ninja world. For someone like him, maybe it wasn't so strange…
Slowly, shyly, she clutched his sleeve, her voice trembling.
"Then… I want to be yours too."
Regret gnawed at her for letting Tsunade go first, but she would not hesitate again. Ryosuke was too brilliant, too rare. Others would come, many others, and she refused to be left behind.
Ryosuke's smile widened, satisfaction gleaming in his eyes. A fine woman. No jealousy, no resistance.
"Where is your room?" he asked softly.
Beelushing, Shizune pointed toward a smaller house nearby, separate from Tsunade's.
Without another word, Ryosuke scooped her into his arms and carried her inside.
Beey sunset, as the last light bled across the horizon, Ryosuke lay beside a thoroughly exhausted Shizune, her face red and her body trembling. Compared to Tsunade's strength, Shizune's endurance was far weaker—five or six rounds had left her unable to move.
Yet for Ryosuke, it had been another great boon. His chakra surged, replenished and strengthened far beyond before. New resources always bring new rewards, he mused.
Still, his body felt drained. He dressed quickly, went out, and returned with three meals—one for Tsunade, one for Shizune, and one for himself. After eating, he let fatigue take him again, collapsing on Shizune's bed.
Meanwhile, in another room, Tsunade stirred awake after her long rest. Her body felt lighter, her spirit oddly refreshed. She couldn't deny it—sometimes, a woman did need a man.
Her eyes drifted to the meal waiting for her. The dishes were simple but freshly prepared, clearly bought outside. Not Shizune's work, she thought. He must have gone himself.
A small warmth bloomed in her chest. For all his arrogance, Ryosuke had done something thoughtful. Perhaps the Uchiha weren't incapable of care after all.
Beeut his ideals still troubled her deeply. Power alone would never bring peace. Force without cooperation only sowed ruin.
No matter what, she would correct him. And she knew the battlefield where his guard was lowest.
On the bed, a man will promise anything.
Yes—if anyone could reshape his values, it would be her.
