Chapter 1 - Elizabeth 1

The skies of Liones were shrouded in gray clouds, just like Princess Elizabeth's heart. The once glorious kingdom now languished under the tyranny of the Holy Knights. With a pure heart filled with grief, Elizabeth, known for her kindness, innocence, and naiveté, made a difficult decision: she must seek help. She slipped out of the castle, carrying only determination and hope on her fragile shoulders.

The journey was fraught with hardship and difficulty for a princess accustomed to luxury. Her feet were blistered, her robes were worn, and hunger often gnawed at her stomach. But whenever she felt like giving up, images of her suffering people came to her mind, giving her the strength to keep going. Day after day passed in silence, accompanied only by the rustling of the wind and the whispering of leaves.

Until one golden twilight, as the sun began to set on the western horizon, the silhouette of an old building appeared in the distance. A rickety wooden sign hung crookedly above the door, reading "Boar Hat." Elizabeth approached hesitantly, the strange, yet enticing aroma of cooking wafting from within.

The wooden door creaked softly as Elizabeth pushed it open. Inside, a bustling yet strange atmosphere greeted her. Several drunken customers were sprawled on benches, while a blond man with a mysterious smile on his face cleared tables. He looked much younger than Elizabeth had expected for a bar owner, and the look in his eyes… there was something deep yet playful.

"Welcome, miss," the man greeted casually, his smile widening. "What would you like to order? Don't worry, my food is guaranteed to be… unique."

Elizabeth stammered. "Sorry… I… I'm looking for help. The Liones Kingdom..."

Suddenly, from behind the bar, a large pink pig poked its head out. "Huh?! Lioness?! What's wrong with Lioness? Have they realized how delicious the leftovers are? I can smell it all the way here!"

Elizabeth gasped, her eyes widening. "A pig… c-can talk?!"

The blonde chuckled. "Oh, let me introduce myself. This is Hawk, the master of food scraps. And I'm Meliodas, the owner of this bar." There was a pause, then Meliodas continued in a more serious tone, but still with a faint smile. "And… the former captain of the Holy Knights."

Elizabeth's heart was pounding.

Former captain of the Holy Knights? This might be a sign!

With what little courage she had left, Elizabeth began to tell her story. She told of the King's illness, of the Holy Knights who now ruled the kingdom with an iron fist, of her people starving and terrified. Her voice trembled, and several times she had to take deep breaths to hold back tears.

"...they… they took everything… sniff… my people… they are starving… sniff… I… I don't know what else to do… sniff… I just want… want to save them… sniff…" she babbled, her eyes welling up with tears.

Meliodas listened intently, his smile fading slightly, replaced by a more serious expression. Hawk beside him grumbled about hunger and how justice must be served, especially when delicious food was involved.

After Elizabeth finished her story, a moment of silence fell over the bar. Meliodas looked at her with an unreadable gaze. Then, he took a deep breath.

"I see," Meliodas said, "Holy Knights huh… I have unfinished business with them too. Very well, Princess Elizabeth." He suddenly held out his hand. "I will help you. We will seek help. And I know exactly who can help."

Elizabeth's eyes lit up. "Re-really? Ohh… Thank you… thank you so much, Meliodas! I… I don't know how to thank you… This… this is like a miracle…"

Hawk, who had been listening, suddenly exclaimed, "Wait a minute! Helping means we're going on a trip, right? That means… more leftovers! And I have to make sure my mom… I mean, this bar, stays moving!"

Elizabeth was confused. "Mom… Hawk?"

Meliodas smiled mysteriously. "Ah, yes. Our little secret. This bar… is actually Hawk's mother. And she can move."

Suddenly, the ground shook. The Boar Hat bar began to sway and slowly lifted off the ground, its four sturdy legs emerging from beneath its foundation. Elizabeth staggered backward, her face pale.

"Whooaa… What… what is this?!" she shrieked, nearly falling over.

Meliodas just laughed, a crisp, slightly mischievous laugh. "Welcome to the Boar Hat, Princess Elizabeth. Get ready. We're about to embark on a journey. A journey to reassemble the Seven Deadly Sins. And with their help, we'll bring peace back to Liones. Of course, with Hawk's mother to accompany us everywhere."

And so, amidst the thunderous thud of giant footsteps, begins the journey of Princess Elizabeth, Meliodas the former captain, and Hawk the talkative pig, with a moving bar as their vehicle, in search of the members of the Seven Deadly Sins to save the Kingdom of Liones from the clutches of the Holy Knights.

Timeskip

Their journey had been going on for days, through green meadows, dense forests, and barren hills. The Boar Hat Bar, led by the mighty Hawk Mother, became a temporary home for Meliodas, Elizabeth, and Hawk. To replenish their dwindling coffers, Meliodas decided to stop at a small, bustling village. The smell of damp earth and firewood smoke greeted them, and before long, the "Boar Hat" sign was back up, inviting travelers and locals alike.
