"What was taken can still be reclaimed," I repeated, rolling Gideon's cryptic message in my mind.
Bianca lingered in the doorway, a strange hesitancy in her posture. "There's something else Gideon said before he died."
My spine straightened. "You didn't mention this before."
"It's... case-sensitive information," she admitted, not quite meeting my eyes.
"Which means you shouldn't be telling us," Arthur interjected, his voice carrying that cool edge of authority.
I shot him a look. "Let her speak."
Bianca glanced between us, then sighed. "The housekeeper heard him talking right before... before the attack. She thought he was on the phone, but he wasn't."
"He was speaking to his killer," I concluded. "To Adrian."
She nodded. "According to her statement, his final words were instructions about his nephew."
"Adrian is his son, not his nephew," Arthur corrected.
