I rise up and follow her. This isn't as easy as I thought it would be. Angela tries to hold on to my hand, but I slip my wrist out of her grasp.
"Later." I whisper.
That's when Val notices that there are other people in the room.
Her eyes flick over my vomit- stained uniform, to Morrow disheveled state, to the broken glass on the floor.
"What in the seven seas happened here?"
Her voice is shrill and sharp.
She steps into the room.
Angela climbs to her feet awkwardly. Furuno remains exactly where he is, staring at her expressionless.
Mrs. Val crouches beside the broken glass on the floor and fishes the label out.
Ace and I exchange glances.
"Where did you get this?" She turns on us, her face scrinched up in a tight frown.
Beneath the facade, I can see the glimmer of excitement in her eyes as she stares at Ace.
She's problem looking for all the reasons in the book to have him expelled.
Ace winks at her. She shudders in response.
