Chapter 152 - Destination: Home and Family.

It had been a week since the wives and girls left for their long-awaited vacation. In that time, Nora kept Zayan on his toes—teasing him with photos, flirty texts, and videos that made his heart ache and his mind spin. She wasn't the only one. The other wives joined in too, flooding their partners with playful images and sultry smiles that only deepened the longing.

Asher, unable to contain his hunger, had texted Aaila:

"Just get back first… I'll eat you up."

She giggled at his message, biting her lip.

Back at the office, Zayan had taken to bringing little Liam with him every day. The boy, energetic and curious, ran through the office halls like he owned the place—chatting with staff, gasping dramatically at their stories, and sitting by the window to watch the cityscape in quiet awe before dozing off on the couch in Zayan's office.

One afternoon, Zayan sent Nora a photo of the kids playing together.

"I miss my babies," she replied.

"Coming soon, daddy 😘"

Zayan smiled at his screen, cheeks flushing.

Just then, he stepped into the office, Liam in his arms, when Alex approached.

"Sir, you have an important meeting. Your old university friends—Mr. Milo Drake, Ms. Roya, and Mr. Finwick Brown—are waiting for you."

The Black Scar Lords, standing nearby, exchanged knowing looks. Everyone knew Zayan hated Roya and Milo with a passion that had never dulled over the years. University memories don't always fade.

As Zayan entered the conference room, Roya's eyes locked onto him.

She barely recognized him.

The nerdy boy with thick glasses and quiet manners was gone.

In his place stood a man of power. Sharp suit. Cold gaze. The Devil they'd all heard whispers about. And now, they saw the truth up close.

"It's been a long-ass time, Zayan Kai," Finwick said, breaking the tension.

Zayan merely hummed and took a seat, nodding for them to begin.

Hours passed, filled with detailed presentations and strategic pitches. Meanwhile, Liam stirred awake, blinking groggily and calling out in his soft baby voice.

"Dada? Dada?"

He crawled off the couch and wobbled out of the office. A staff member spotted him.

"Hey Liam," she said warmly, picking him up as he began to cry.

"Dada!"

She carried him into the boardroom.

Roya's eyes widened as she saw the little boy in Zayan's arms. She was stunned.

He had a child?

Zayan didn't even glance at her. He was too busy smiling at a photo Nora had just sent from the beach.

"We're done with the presentations," Finwick said, watching Zayan curiously.

Zayan scanned the documents and nodded.

"Hm. The partnership is acceptable… But if anything goes wrong—I'll shut you all down."

His voice dropped, laced with the chilling threat only The Devil could deliver.

"Woah…" Milo whispered under his breath.

"Dada! Dada!" Liam cried joyfully as he was handed to his father.

"My boy," Zayan said, lifting him into his lap. He adjusted Liam's tiny shirt and kissed his head.

"You're up, huh?"

"Huh!" Liam mimicked.

"Yummy. And mama!" he blurted out suddenly.

The three guests stared at Liam.

"He… he has a kid?" Roya asked faintly.

Zayan ignored her, pulling out his phone and video calling Nora.

"Hi Z!" she answered, instantly lighting up.

"MAMA!" Liam shouted, grabbing the phone.

"LIAM!!!" Nora squealed, blowing kisses. "Oh my dearest baby boy! I missed you so so so much!"

Liam clapped his hands excitedly as Zayan watched them with a soft smile.

"Hey love," he greeted her.

Roya's heart cracked in her chest. She forced a smile. But Zayan wasn't even looking her way.

"Hey Z, darling," Nora said, giggling.

Liam blabbered excitedly, his eyes glued to the screen.

"Mama come back!"

"Awww, my cutest baby boy," Nora cooed. "Mama will come, and I'll surprise you and the kids. I love you! And I love you, Z!"

"I love you too, baby," Zayan replied.

"Bye bye mama!"

"Bye, love!" Nora said as the call ended.

Liam looked down, his smile fading.

"Bye bye mama…" he murmured sadly, tears filling his eyes.

Alex, watching from the corner, quietly filmed the heartbreaking moment and sent the video to Nora.

Nora watched it with Catalina beside her, both of them struck with emotion.

It was time. Vacation was over.

They packed their bags, loaded their gifts—boxes full of toys, treats, and something special for their men.

Meanwhile, back at the company, Zayan fed Liam his bottle while finalizing the last pages of the contract.

"£60 billion," Finwick confirmed.

Zayan nodded.

"Where's your… wife?" Roya asked hesitantly.

Zayan didn't even blink.

"None of your business," he said coldly.

"PAPA!" the twins shouted, bursting into the room and leaping onto him.

"Hey kiddo!" Zayan laughed, kissing their cheeks. "How was school?"

"Lilly kept kicking people, Dad," Lysander said.

"I hate bullies," Lilly declared proudly. "Hate, hate, hate them!" She kissed Liam's head and climbed into a chair.

Zayan looked down at the bottle. Liam had fallen asleep in his arms, breathing softly.

The twins sat nearby with the Black Scar Lords, enjoying dinner and laughter as the evening mellowed.

Milo leaned over. "Zayan… It's been years. How about dinner sometime? You know… catch up, meet your family?"

Zayan paused, then nodded.

"Yeah. Sure. You can meet them."

"We'll be there," Milo smiled.

As the others filed out, Roya approached him.

"Did I really hurt you that badly, Zayan? For you to just… forget me like this?"

Zayan turned, calm and unmoved.

"I don't care about that. Never did. You were a brat—and still are. So keep your distance… before my wife destroys you."

With that, he left, Liam still sleeping peacefully in his arms.

The women stepped off the plane.
