Chapter 74 - Chapter 75: Harsh Advice Rings True

Chapter 75: Harsh Advice Rings True

"Good, good! That's the one!"

Babata popped out of Luo Feng's wristband, yelling excitedly.

"Luo Feng, hurry up and cultivate the Soul Seal! Once you enslave the Golden-Horned Beast, I might just witness the glory of Planet Yunmo being restored. Hahaha!"

"Jiang Zhe, you're amazing! I was right to pass down the inheritance to you back then!"

Jiang Zhe twitched at the corners of his mouth. Wow, you really know how to flatter someone after the fact.

Babata flew up to him, patted his shoulder with satisfaction—only to be pushed aside in disdain by Jiang Zhe.

Luo Feng frowned, reluctant to accept the sudden "gift." But Babata was already talking too much.

He glanced at the egg of the chasm beast nearby and realized—maybe to this senior brother, a Golden-Horned Beast wasn't such a big deal.

"Wait. Who said we were going to enslave it?"

"Huh? Why not? Illusions aren't a reliable method. Don't tell me you haven't read the Soul Seal technique? It was your teacher's top-tier skill—he once had immortals serving him! A mere Golden—"

"Babata, shut up. This is for Luo Feng to possess."

"Possess?"

"Possess!!!"

Luo Feng looked confused. When he finally understood, his face filled with resistance.

Why would I give up being human?

Even if it were to possess another human, like Teacher Huyan Bo did, I wouldn't be able to accept it!

But Babata suddenly had a moment of epiphany.

Right! Why bother training the Golden-Horned Beast?

Why not become it?

If Luo Feng's soul was special but his body was weak, wouldn't possessing the Golden-Horned Beast combine both strengths?

Babata grew ecstatic. "Luo Feng! Jiang Zhe's right. If you possess the beast, you'll easily reach the World Lord level. With effort, you might even become an immortal, like your teacher!"

"Babata, I refuse. I won't give up my human identity," Luo Feng said firmly.

Jiang Zhe chimed in, "Junior brother, it's not uncommon for geniuses among the human race to possess alien bodies. The definition of humanity lies not in the physical form, but in the soul."

"You'll still be human, even in a different body."

"Besides, the Golden-Horned Beast has a unique talent—it can naturally produce three clones in its lifetime. If you're attached to your human form, you can use one of those to create a clone of your Earth-born self."

"Clones?" Babata's blood-red eyes widened. "Jiang Zhe, are you serious? That beast has clone talent? Where did you find that out?"

Jiang Zhe pointed at the chasm beast egg nearby. "Trust me. I know a lot about star beasts."

"Luo Feng! This is huge—clone talent means you could have three versions of yourself, all equally powerful. You could choose races with incredible talents to create those clones!"

"Hurry! Let Jiang Zhe help you prepare for possession. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!"

Initially tempted, Luo Feng soon calmed down.

"Senior brother, since the Golden-Horned Beast can create a clone with a human form, you should possess it instead."

"After all, as you said, Earthlings don't have good physical talent."

"No, Luo Feng," Jiang Zhe smiled, shaking his head. "Your body's weak. Mine isn't. In fact, my physical talent rivals that of the Golden-Horned Beast. If I pass on my bloodline, the new race would rank among the top of the human species."

Babata sneered, "Jiang Zhe, how many drinks have you had? You're drunk."

"Babata, do you think I reached the ninth level of the Stellar Rank by soaking in a nutrient bath?"

"Didn't you just give that method to Thunder God?"

"Yes, he needs it. But not me. My cultivation was earned through ten years of real training!"

"Impossible. Even the Manka people can't do—wait, you're serious?"

Babata stared into Jiang Zhe's eyes.

The confidence and mysterious powers he had shown before… Babata slowly started to believe.

"Junior brother, Earthlings have limits."

"Hong and Thunder God both have strong minds and great insight. But their bodies hold them back. It makes the path harder."

"They're lucky—they've awakened domains at the planetary level. That'll make them appealing to the powers of the Qianwu Universe Nation."

"But you—can you master a domain within five years without the Golden-Horned Beast? If you can, how far can you take it?"

"You've read the information I gave you. That great opportunity in the future—if you don't grasp it, you'll be eliminated early on."

"If you miss it, you'll be left to wander the universe, like Earth's independent warriors, scrounging for resources."

"And the inheritance your teacher left you? It's barely enough for you—certainly not enough for your family. Over time, your loved ones will fall behind—your parents, your brother, Xu Xin…"

"In the end, only your talented child might accompany you. But if you can barely support yourself, how will you raise them?"

Babata wanted to argue—his old master had left quite a lot.

But he wasn't stupid. His red eyes darted around, and he fell silent.

"Without the right platform, your soul's gifts will go unrealized. You might never reach your full potential."

"As for me, I'll eventually join the core of one of humanity's Five Major Forces. And I'll face life-or-death trials. There's a 99% chance I'll die in the process."

"It's an opportunity—but also a gamble."

"We can't place all of Earth's future on me. Just like you shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket."

Luo Feng clenched his fists. The future Jiang Zhe described wasn't dark or miserable—just… unbearably ordinary.

Babata added solemnly, "Luo Feng… he's right. I followed your teacher, a lone wanderer. I know how bitter that life is."

Luo Feng took a deep breath and asked seriously, "Senior brother… if I possess the Golden-Horned Beast, will I have the chance to join the core of the Five Major Forces?"

"There's a strong chance," Jiang Zhe nodded. "If you master a domain and enter both the Gold and Space laws, you'll rank in the top 1,000—easily earning a spot."

"And once you're in, it's like one person ascends, and the whole family benefits."

"The higher your status, the more likely your loved ones will become immortals and gain eternal life."

"Senior brother… I'm about to get married. My child will be born soon. I… I need time to think."

Even after all that, Luo Feng couldn't make a decision.

"That's fine. Take your time," Jiang Zhe said without pressure. "I'll keep the Golden-Horned Beast here to study it. I've already gifted it to Yunmo Planet. Whether you choose possession or enslavement—I'll support you."

Luo Feng left the bracelet's inner world and found a quiet room aboard the ship to reflect on his future.

In the empty cockpit, only Jiang Zhe and Babata remained. Jiang Zhe swirled the red wine in his glass, then drank it all in one go.

Luo Feng has a strong sense of responsibility and rock-solid morals. I can't let someone like that go to waste.

Hurry up and grow strong—for Earth, for humanity, for the original universe, and for the Source World!

After 30+ hours of flight, the "One Ultra, Three Giants" returned to their beloved Earth.

Even after stepping off the ship, Luo Feng was still preoccupied. He greeted everyone half-heartedly before flying off toward Jiangnan Base City.

Back home, Jiang Zhe's life remained as calm as it had been the past ten years.

Most of his time was spent inside the bracelet world, comprehending the Laws, studying the Law Diagram, and the schematics of the Zi Chen Realm weapon.

Lightning Law – 34th Insight: Mastered.

Lightning Law – 35th Insight: Mastered.

Lightning Law – 36th Insight: Mastered.

Lightning Law – 37th Insight: 80% complete.

He needed to transform what he learned from the Law Diagram into circuit-like paths.

Meanwhile, the tech weapon Zi Chen Realm was essentially an advanced, structured application of those circuit paths—allowing it to unleash Law-based attacks.

By integrating the whole system—with his innate talent in alchemy and the enlightenment granted by the phantom rainbow light—his comprehension of the Laws accelerated even more.

In his downtime, he meditated inside the Primal Core, studying the Three Bodies Severance Sutra.

He worked on trimming away his mental impurities—greed, anger, ignorance—to eventually manifest his first clone.

Thanks to long practice of the Dormant Dragon Method, he had lived through many fragmented dream-lives—each feeling like a real, different life.

Each "him" had a different personality, accumulating a rich pool of mental impurities to work with.

February 23, 2060

Jiang Zhe attended Luo Feng's wedding.

After returning home, his father summoned him to the main hall. All the direct family members had gathered.

Why?

To urge him to get married.

"Xiao Zhe," his father said, "I know your lifespan now stretches for ten thousand years. You're powerful, long-lived, and no longer concerned with things like having children."

"But think about the Jiang family. The universe is dangerous. You love to take risks. If anything ever happens to you—your parents, and all of us, need a way to carry on your legacy."

"Tell me, among all of us, who has the talent to carry the Jiang name after you?"

"If you fall, the family you made powerful will become everyone's target!"

"We desperately need a child who carries your gifts."

"Children are more than just a continuation of life—they are the foundation of a family's strength."

Back in his courtyard, Jiang Zhe mulled over his father's words.

Will my child inherit my talents?

Could they carry the Jiang family forward after me?

Absolutely.

He had reached 5x genetic level—(achieved through slaying high-level beasts in the Crystal Core World).

His child would be born with 3x genetic level, the highest bloodline of humanity, born as a Domain Lord, plus the unique Earthling soul.

With effort, becoming immortal would be no challenge.

"I'll just let it happen naturally. Maybe after I enter the Virtual Universe Company."

"Even if I die unexpectedly, my Silver-Clad Soul Form will survive until the end of the three reincarnation eras."

"My main consciousness will revive inside it and continue to protect the Jiang family."

"Still, I should probably give the idea of children some serious thought."

"If not for poverty in my past life, Chinese people still believed in the old saying—'Of the three unfilial acts, having no children is the worst.'"

"Enough thinking. Time to sleep!"

Clearing his mind, Jiang Zhe lay down and drifted into deep sleep.

Dormant Dragon Method: Activated!

Just a few more mental impurities—then he could use the phantom rainbow light and the Primordial Umbrella to sever his first clone.
