Chapter 71: Black Hole! Drip!
Looking at the one-foot-long beam of illusory light in front of him, Jiang Zhe scratched his head again.
This wasn't just a strange habit—it genuinely felt like something had gone wrong with his mind. Something was forcibly stuffed into his brain, stirring up his thoughts.
After carefully reviewing the foreign information in his mind, Jiang Zhe was shocked.
"It's teaching me… knowledge? Knowledge from another world!"
[Basic Wizardry]

[Coordinates… Stars…]

[Every shape in space is merely a projection of a higher-dimensional object intersecting this dimension.]
[Time is actually static, without beginning or end. The sense of change from the flow of time is merely an illusion.]
[Time itself is an illusion.]
[Only beings trapped in limited dimensions and with narrow vision believe in concepts like past, present, and future.]
[The human concept of time arises purely from what they call 'change.' But this 'change' is also an illusion. Everything—past, present, and future—exists simultaneously.]
As Jiang Zhe sorted through the flood of information, he broke into a cold sweat, his body trembling slightly.
He wanted to refute this knowledge, but couldn't find any grounds to do so. His understanding of time and space was still shallow, and these "heretical" ideas were beginning to pull him into a rabbit hole.
"No, this can't go on! Something bad will happen if I keep absorbing this!"
His mind rang with alarms. He shouted:
"Get out of my head, you nonsense! You won't corrupt me!"
He then tried to use the power of his internal world to destroy the strange beam of light.
Sensing his intention, the Heaven-Holding Ancient Tree reacted even faster. It shook its massive canopy, stirring an invisible wind in Jiang Zhe's inner world.
As the wind passed in front of him, the rainbow-like beam of light collapsed into fragments.
But in a flash, those scattered particles of light reassembled themselves back into the same one-foot-long beam.
Jiang Zhe wasn't surprised—this had happened before.
The "Second Divine Soul Technique" had also been transformed in the same way to better fit local traits.
Though the rainbow beam looked the same, it gave him a strange sense of clarity and heightened awareness. However, it no longer tried to force-feed him any more "toxic" knowledge.
As he focused on it, Jiang Zhe found his understanding of time and space laws deepening. Many concepts that previously eluded him suddenly made sense.
Additionally, he noticed something else—his crafting skills had improved. His insight into the material structure and essence of things had grown sharper.
"Feels like I've picked up some of Anna's abilities… like Mechanical Pioneer and Master of Matter."
"Am I a Maker now? An Alchemist?"
"Using that otherworldly system… have I been given alchemical talent?"
"Could I put on a lab coat and pretend to be a scientist now?"
"Nope! Absolutely not! Research is so boring!"
Surprised by his state, Jiang Zhe wondered if it was just a hallucination. So, he decided to test it.
"Anna, share part of the construction plan for the Zichen Realm with me."
Obediently, Orianna sent a portion of the mechanical planet's blueprints through their mental link.
Although Jiang Zhe had a bit of a "mechanical illiterate" trait, he frowned at the complex schematics but gradually started to understand the basic concepts—especially those related to the lightning-based circuit systems using Thunder Law.
That in itself was incredible.
Keep in mind—these were immortal-grade mechanical weapon designs, powerful enough to challenge a Marquis Immortal when paired with a mechanical army.
While Jiang Zhe was exploring his newfound talents, his Silver-Clad Clone was busy elsewhere.
A pyramid-shaped E9-class mechanical spacecraft traveled through Dark Space. The clone had also been affected by the rainbow light through their soul connection, enhancing its perception of Time and Space Laws.
On a vast prairie within a constructed world-storage unit (diameter: several hundred million kilometers), the Silver-Clad Clone trained while the ship was en route.
In human form, the clone wielded the Void-Piercing Spear, twisting and stirring it in a manner inspired by an ancient spear master from before the Great Nirvana.
This master once practiced by embedding wooden stakes in thick walls—stakes that strong young men couldn't pull out with their hands. Yet, he could use spear vibrations to pull them out cleanly.
He would even jam his spear into a winch or wheel hub and make it spin like a windmill without effort.
Drawing from this inspiration, the Silver-Clad Clone felt that these moves closely aligned with Space Law.
The spear, like a silver serpent, stirred the air.
With form established, he then infused it with Earth Law (collapse, suppression) and Space Law (resistance, disruption), combining them through mastery of the Innate Secret Art: Gravitation Domain.
After three days of refinement, he was ready to test the result.
Facing him stood a 12-meter tall E9-class mechanical puppet wielding a massive broadsword, controlled remotely by an Orianna avatar.
Lightning surged from the sword—this puppet could unleash Thunder Law-based attacks.
The puppet slashed.
The Silver-Clad Clone countered.
The Void-Piercing Spear danced, flicked the sword aside, then sent vibrations that rippled through space—like invisible threads extending from the spear tip and anchoring deep into space.
As the spear twisted, it dragged the surrounding space inward into a collapsing point.
Spatial Disruption!
Spatial Resistance!
Spatial Suppression!
The puppet's massive sword was deflected and then flung away entirely.
Its alloy body became trapped in the collapsing space, unable to move despite crackling with lightning. All it could do was watch the silver spearhead approach…
Direct hit to the chest.
The puppet's central processor was destroyed. The light in its eyes faded. Power down.
"Not bad. A basic dual-law technique with Earth and Space elements."
"For now, this Space Law move is enough. I'll keep improving it… once I reach World Lord level, I'll consider creating more variations."
He thought of how Luo Feng had received guidance from Chaos City Lord when creating secret arts—and felt envious.
"Wonder who the real me will get as a teacher? Probably not someone on the Universe Venerable level… they might not even understand their own secret arts that deeply."
He shook his head and moved on.
"Next up: Time Law. I need at least a basic move so both laws are covered."
He replaced his weapon with a standard alloy spear and used his main body's understanding of Time and Lightning to craft a new technique.
He already had the "True Meaning of Speed" as a foundation, so it didn't take long.
Within two days, facing another puppet slash, the clone reacted after the puppet yet struck before it.
The spear sparkled with lightning, drawing a graceful arc and piercing the puppet's chest—another kill.
"Both spear techniques still have lots of room for improvement…"
"The Space Law move has elements of entanglement and confinement. I'll call it: Black Hole Style."
"The Time Law move is all about acceleration, tied to the True Meaning of Speed. Let's call it: Drip Style."
"These two moves will do for now. I'll wait until I become a World Lord before creating more. For now, the focus should be deepening my understanding of the laws—not getting distracted."
"As my comprehension of the source laws deepens, I can keep refining these two techniques…"
Thanks to the insight from the rainbow light, the Silver-Clad Clone had officially stepped into the realm of self-created secret arts.
Meanwhile, Jiang Zhe was still studying the Zichen Realm blueprints—particularly the runes.
As a mechanical weapon powered by Time and Lightning, its inscribed runes and circuit layouts held deep law-based mysteries—greatly helping Jiang Zhe's understanding.
January 15th, Late Night
While immersed in studying law-based runes, Jiang Zhe was suddenly interrupted by the rainbow beam.
"Anna?"
"Master, the Jiang family is planning to make a move against the Golden-Horned Beast. What should we do?"
"The Golden-Horned Beast?" Jiang Zhe paused, then realized, "Has it reached that point in time already?"
"Yes. Kaimei Beast just submitted a request—your grandfather wants to borrow a team of Universe-level slaves from me."
Orianna explained:
"The Golden-Horned Beast is very cunning. I was worried it would detect me, so I hid all the Star and Universe-level slaves inside a World Bracelet. Only F-grade mechanical guards are stationed in secret."
Jiang Zhe nodded.
"Where is the beast now? What's it doing?"
"North America. It's devouring war bases. Aside from some coastal monster disturbances, it hasn't affected Hanxia yet."
She added:
"Judging by its movements, it'll head to Europe next, then come to Asia."
"Currently, Earth's Wargods, Senators, and leaders are holding a summit at the War God Palace. Should I help you attend remotely?"
"No need," Jiang Zhe replied. "Let's warm up a bit—quick and clean."
