Chapter 218 - Dragon's Plan

"Our Revolutionary Army overthrew the corrupt government of the Kingdom of Bisette, which is a World Government affiliate. Because of this, the Marines are now hunting us down. We need a temporary place to stay and wait for things to calm down," Dragon said, spreading his hands.

"Are you asking Fish-Man Island to become a hiding place for the Revolutionary Army?" Tiger's eyes narrowed. "Absolutely not! Don't you know how much disaster that would bring to Fish-Man Island?"

Dragon was not swayed by Tiger's words. He merely glanced at him before returning his gaze to King Neptune. "Didn't King Neptune share a sake cup with Whitebeard? By that logic, the Marines should have come to eliminate you, but they haven't because of Fish-Man Island's unique geographical location, right?"

After a short pause, Dragon continued, "If that's the case, what's the harm in adding another 'Whitebeard'? Our Revolutionary Army is willing to set up an outpost here afterward to help the people of Fish-Man Island deal with all the problems caused by pirates. The people of Fish-Man Island yearn for peace. Let us humans handle these things."

It must be said that although Dragon seemed to have ulterior motives, his words hit the mark. Most fish-men were not confrontational and would rather tolerate pirates. It would be a good solution to have humans handle some of the problems.

Jinbe and Tiger were clearly not good at this kind of thing and could only look at King Neptune, waiting for his decision.

Suddenly, Dragon spoke to Otohime, "Queen, please retract your Observation Haki."

Otohime was startled and quickly withdrew her power. She was born with the Observation Haki to sense the thoughts of others. She had just been unable to resist using this power to peek into Dragon's mind, but she was stopped before she could see anything.

Meanwhile, after almost half an hour of thinking, King Neptune slowly opened his eyes from his throne. "Tell me your plan, leader of the Revolutionary Army."

"Half a year ago, after Alucard and Shiki attacked the Government and the Marines, the Marines became severely weakened and were even forced to establish the Warlord of the Sea system, using the power of pirates to maintain balance," Dragon said. "Right now, the only people left at Marineford who could be considered a threat are Fleet Admiral Kong, Admiral Sengoku, and Vice Admiral Kuzan. The Government's power is too mysterious; even our Revolutionary Army hasn't been able to uncover much, but after the battle with Alucard half a year ago, they also suffered a lot of damage."

"Are you suggesting...?" Tiger had already vaguely guessed something.

Dragon nodded. "We'll split into three groups. I'll use the Celestial Dragon you captured to lure out the remaining main fighting force of Marineford, giving the fish-men a chance to infiltrate Mariejois and then return to Sabaody Archipelago through a secret path."

"Three groups? There are only two of us, the fish-men and your Revolutionary Army, right?" Tiger frowned.

"There's another group, and they're on Sabaody Archipelago," Dragon said, the corner of his mouth curling into a smile. "They're a very powerful fighting force. For this matter, I think it would be easy to ask for their help, and they would definitely agree."

"Then how do we get to Mariejois?" Jinbe asked. "Are you expecting us fish-men to climb up there with our bare hands?"

"That's even simpler," Dragon said confidently. "I have a new member on my team. By using his ability, I can send all of you to Mariejois in a short amount of time. You'll just have to escape on your own."

After speaking, Dragon turned to King Neptune. "What do you think, King Neptune? This way, you can save the envoys from Fish-Man Island who were captured half a year ago, and all the hatred from the Celestial Dragons will be shifted onto the Revolutionary Army. In the future, our Revolutionary Army will definitely help bring peace to Fish-Man Island."

King Neptune was silent for a long time after hearing this. Finally, he spoke slowly, uttering a few words softly, "I'm counting on you..."

....

On Secon Island, inside the inn that was a Revolutionary Army outpost.

Seeing Dragon slowly open his eyes, Alucard, at some point, had taken a bottle of red wine from the liquor cabinet. Of course, it couldn't compare to the top-tier wines in the Celestial Dragon palace, but it was at least drinkable.

"Is the flashback over?" Alucard asked, then sat down. "I assume you've already killed that Mjosgard guy, right?"

Dragon frowned. "Why do you say that?"

"It's just a feeling. From your perspective, he was useless," Alucard said coldly.

"You are also one of the Celestial Dragons who are a blight on this world. I'd love to take your life right here," Dragon said, standing up and revealing a hint of killing intent. "But the Marines are all outside. If I do that, it will be difficult for me to leave. Let's both take a step back. I'll leave, and you'll sit here quietly for a while, how about that?"

Although it was a question, Dragon had no intention of waiting for an answer. He walked towards the back kitchen of the inn. Perhaps there was a secret escape route there.

"The floor you're standing on is filled with countless bombs. If you don't want them to detonate, please let me leave quietly. My goal has already been achieved." Dragon's role in the plan was to lure out the remaining top-tier fighting forces from Marineford to buy time for Tiger and the others.

Now that Zephyr, Sengoku, and Kuzan had arrived, his objective was complete.

Garp was stationed in the New World, and Borsalino, Sakazuki, and the others were hunting pirates in the Grand Line. The headquarters were extremely empty. He had no reason to stay here.

"Hold on. Did I say you could leave?" Alucard suddenly said.

Under Observation Haki, Dragon's eyes narrowed. He didn't even have time to register that the Celestial Dragon's voice behind him had changed. "Are you trying to get yourself killed?"

In an instant, Dragon's right hand went into his cloak and pressed the button on a remote control.

Boom!!!

Suddenly, the entire inn exploded violently.

The intense blaze shocked Sengoku and the others outside. Kuzan was the first to react, placing his hand on the ground and unleashing his Devil Fruit ability. "Ice Wall!"
