Ezra's POV
What happened last night… I was still in a daze just thinking about it—coming from Vlad touching my chest. It was too embarrassing.
I was sending Vlad away because I didn't want anyone to know he had spent the night here. But still, Calix saw him… and what he did.
He told him what we did last night, which was not good at all, and now they were both staring at each other like they would kill each other at any moment.
I rushed to them.
"Both of you, please leave now. I want to rest," I said, pushing Vlad out of the room.
I closed the door. After a while, the servants came and helped me take a bath. After getting ready, I first left the room to see my mom.
As I stepped into Mom's room, I saw she was awake. She didn't look like she used to—she looked so beautiful and healthy now. That was great. I rushed to her.
"Mom!" I hugged her.
"Ezra, my son, thank you so much for saving me and bringing me back to my kingdom," she said.
