Ezra's POV
I heard some noise, so I opened my eyes and found that I was still sleeping, resting my head on Calix's shoulder.
In front of me, Rin was still asleep, his head resting on Lazek's shoulder. And Zevian's head was on Rin's shoulder.
But just then, I felt something heavy on my own shoulder. I glanced beside me—Vlad had rested his head on my shoulder, and Sylven's head was on Vlad's shoulder.
I sat up straight, wondering, Where are we right now? The carriage was still moving. Did we travel through the whole night? Or... don't tell me we've already arrived at Glacien?
I gently pushed Vlad's head toward Sylven and stood up.
I bent down a little and looked out of the window next to Calix.
We were still in the forest. Gosh, this forest is so big... we haven't even left it yet?
I sat back in my seat. Everyone was still sleeping. Should I wake them up? But what if they had just fallen asleep?
