Ezra's POV
"Ohh! Who are you? And what is a human doing here?" he said and suddenly started to laugh.
"Hahahaha... Your face!"
I didn't understand why he was laughing while saying my face—it's not like I was making some kind of weird expression.
"Why are you laughing? And who are you?"
He stopped laughing and looked at me with a serious face. "This is my older brother's study, so I can come here whenever I want. But who are you? I've never seen you before."
At that exact moment, I heard the creak of a door opening. I turned around and saw Vlad coming inside. As he did, he saw me and the alpha in front of me.
"Ohh, Ezra, you're here. And you already met my younger brother?" Saying that, he came and stood beside me.
"Brother, is he your mate?" his younger brother asked.
"No, he's not. He's only going to work with me from now on, so don't bother him, Gren."
His younger brother, Gren, smiled at me before leaving. And as he left, Vlad and I exchanged glances.
