Ezra's POV
Next day when I woke, I found myself lying on the bed in my room. Wasn't I eating dinner with Sylven in the garden?
As I thought that, suddenly a wave of memories rushed into my mind, and I remembered what really happened last night.
When I had drunk that wine, it tasted awful—something like I had never drunk before. Like it was blood, but I am not sure since I have never drunk blood either.
"Master, you are awake? How are you feeling right now?"
"Vian?... What happened to me? Why am I feeling heavy in my chest?"
"Master, last night you drank the blood, and there was poison in that blood too. I heard from your mate Sylven. He said he was only going to give you blood, but he didn't poison you."
Like hell I believe that. Of course, Sylven must be the one who poisoned me.
But now, when he saw something really happened to me, he backed off so that he wouldn't have to take responsibility if something happened to me.
