Chapter 11 - Two Faces, One Destiny

The sun had barely risen when Noah's communicator buzzed on his wrist. He glanced down—an incoming call from Valerie Singh at G.I. Division.

📞 Incoming Call: Valerie Singh

Noah tapped to answer.

Valerie (through comms):

"Noah, I need you at HQ. It's about the Spark dust from last night."

Noah looked over at Leandro, Cade, and the Autobots, who were still gathered around Optimus.

Noah:

"Guys—I gotta bounce. G.I. wants a full analysis report on the Spark. Something's up."

Bumblebee

📻 "Work calls, huh? Boooooring."

Cade:

"Don't let them swipe that vial from you. It might be more dangerous than they think."

Leandro:

"If something doesn't feel right, call me. Immediately."

Noah nodded, gave a quick salute to the crew, and jogged toward his car.

🚗 On the Road – En Route to G.I. HQ

Noah drove in silence, the Spark vial secure in a reinforced case next to him. The morning light flickered through the windshield.

Noah (to himself):

"What does this stuff have to do with Megatron…?"

🧬 G.I. Division HQ – Later That Morning

Inside the dim-lit observation room, Valerie Singh stood in front of a large holographic display. As Noah entered, she turned sharply.

Valerie:

"We ran a deep scan of the Spark dust. And you're gonna want to sit down."

She pulled up a waveform—erratic, dark, and strangely familiar.

Valerie (continued):

"This energy signature matches traces of Megatron's Spark—fragments we've never seen react like this before."

She tapped a second panel. A new alert flashed:

> BIO-ENERGETIC LINK DETECTED: LEANDRO DELAVEGA

"Second Signature Found – 100% Match"

Noah leaned in, stunned.

Noah:

"Wait… what? There's another one?"

Valerie:

"Not another Spark. Another person. A second being… with the same Spark pattern."

She brought up a satellite photo—a young man in a sleek black sports car, sunglasses on, grinning. Same face. Same bone structure. But clearly a different personality.

Name: Leonardo DelaVega

Location: London, England

Noah (shocked):

"That's… that's Leandro's twin?!"

Valerie (quietly):

"We just discovered him two days ago. He's not listed in any military or public database. But the Spark… responded to him. Not Leandro."

Noah (murmuring):

"So maybe the virus wasn't calling Leandro last night… it was calling him."

🇬🇧 London, England – Same Time

A jet-black sports car weaved through the bustling London streets. The engine roared as it dodged traffic with reckless confidence.

Behind the wheel: Leonardo DelaVega. Same face as Leandro. But this guy? Smirking. Wild-eyed. Full of swagger.

Leonardo (laughing):

"Who needs lecture halls when you've got horsepower and bad decisions?"

His friend in the passenger seat laughed.

Friend:

"Bailed on class again?"

Leonardo (grinning):

"Universities can wait. Roads like these? They don't."

The car peeled away, vanishing between double-decker buses and tight alleys with style.

🪖 U.S. Military Command – Operations Center

Colonel William Lennox stood at attention as a high-ranking general appeared via hologram.

General:

"Colonel. Spark activity has reawakened near Stonehenge. We're deploying a full unit."

Lennox:

"Should I loop in the Autobots?"

General (firm):

"Negative. This is human jurisdiction now. No involvement from Cade Yeager, Leandro DelaVega, or any Cybertronians."

Lennox (tense):

"But they've been on the front lines—"

General (cutting him off):

"This mission is black-classified. If they interfere… treat it as unauthorized action."

The hologram faded. Lennox clenched his jaw.

Lennox (muttering):

"This is gonna go sideways. I can feel it."

🛰️ Back at G.I. HQ – Secure Briefing Room

Noah was still staring at the image of Leonardo on the screen—identical to his friend, but clearly leading a different life.

Valerie (serious):

"This kid doesn't just look like Leandro. The Spark knows him. And it's been trying to reconnect."

Noah (uneasy):

"So what's his deal? Hidden twin? Clone? Something worse?"

Valerie didn't answer right away.

Valerie:

"We don't know. But something tells me… whatever he is… he's been hiding in plain sight for a reason."

Inside a sleek, modern office lined with transparent holo-screens, data charts, and Spark network logs, Isaac sat focused at his workstation. He wore a small earpiece, tapping away at a coding terminal.

📱 RING… RING…

A call lit up his wrist interface.

> MOM – LONDON

Isaac sighed lightly, then tapped to answer.

Isaac

"Hey, Mom."

Mom (on the line)

"Sweetheart! Finally, you picked up. How's work today?"

Isaac (half-smiling)

"Still working, Ma. World might be ending thanks to aliens, but servers don't care."

Mom (laughs gently)

"You always joke like that… but you were always the serious one at home."

Isaac

"I stay serious because Leandro keeps dragging us into alien drama."

Mom

"Hey! Right now, Leandro might be the most responsible of you three."

Isaac (holding back a chuckle)

"Speaking of responsibility—how's Leonardo? He still attending classes or skipping again?"

Mom (pauses a little)

"Well… he showed up once or twice. But get this—his university called the wrong son. They were trying to reach Leandro."

Isaac (frowning)

"Wait—so his professors tried contacting Leandro because Leonardo hasn't shown up?"

Mom

"Sort of. I guess the names confused them. Same last name and all."

Isaac (quietly annoyed)

"Let me guess—you told them he was just… different?"

Mom

"I didn't say anything. I just listened."

Isaac (soft but firm)

"Mom… don't compare him to Leandro. Or me. Or even Sofia."

Mom (gently)

"I wasn't trying to, sweetheart—"

Isaac

"That's exactly why he keeps acting out. He thinks he's not good enough. Like no matter what he does, he'll always be 'the other one.'"

Mom (soft sigh)

"He's stubborn. But he's got a good heart, Isaac. You know that."

Isaac (after a pause)

"I do. But pushing him to be someone he's not… it won't help. One day, he's gonna run too far in the wrong direction."

Mom

"You still care about him, don't you?"

Isaac (quiet, honest)

"I care. Doesn't mean I understand him."

Mom (smiling through the phone)

"Funny thing is… he really looks up to you. He'd never say it, but he does."

Isaac said nothing at first. His gaze drifted to the screen—where encrypted Spark data still pulsed.

And a new name had just pinged.

> Subject Tag: Leonardo DelaVega – Unknown Spark Response

Isaac (soft, under his breath)

"I just hope he realizes… something big is coming."

Isaac ended the call and leaned back in his chair. He rubbed his face and muttered quietly,

"Man, this kid… what the hell is he even doing out there?"

He tapped his screen and initiated a call to Leandro.

"Come on, pick up. This is about the other lost brother…"

Back,Leandro, Cade, and several Autobots stood around a holographic table. A projection of the Stonehenge region floated above it, marked with flickering Spark energy signals.

Optimus Prime stood at the end of the table, hands behind his back. His optics scanned everyone present.

"We leave without Lennox. His superiors will never allow us to go with him."

Ironhide leaned against the wall with one arm folded, smirking.

"Heh. If we wait for human permission, the war's already over."

Cade opened Leandro's locker and pulled out a tactical jacket—stamped with a small Autobot emblem on the shoulder. He put it on and looked over at Leandro.

"Fits just fine."

Leandro chuckled softly, kneeling to tie his sneakers. He wore a plain white T-shirt, loose black jeans, a black cap turned backward, and his favorite sneakers.

He looked up at Cade.

"What about Noah?"

Cade zipped up the jacket and patted Leandro's shoulder.

"He's got his own team. And I think he's working on something. We move now before that Spark ends up in government hands. If they experiment with it... things could go bad fast."

🧪 G.I. Division – Alien Tech Lab

Noah walked through the corridor of the classified lab. Around him, tall containment tanks held alien remains and fragments of off-world tech, displayed like twisted museum pieces.

His eyes settled on a special tank—filled with glittering residue: raw AllSpark powder.

He stared at it, memory flashing in his eyes.

"Mirage… if this can bring you back…"

Carefully, he opened the access panel. He had already modified the CCTV feeds earlier—no cameras were recording this.

He scooped a small amount of the glowing dust into a special anti-radiation pouch, sealed it, and slipped it into his jacket pocket.

Then he turned and walked out, quick and silent.

🚚 Scrapyard – Mission Launch

That same day, two teams were mobilized. Five members each, armed and equipped.

Leandro stood with Bumblebee, Ironhide, and three reformed Decepticons. His squad would be the forward team—fast, agile, first to reach the objective.

Cade led the second team with Optimus Prime, two Autobots, and two seasoned Decepticons. A heavy unit. Reinforcement and firepower.

Sofia stood by the gate, giving Leandro a quick hug.

"Be careful. And if you see Leonardo out there… punch first, ask later."

Leandro laughed, stepping into the truck.

"If he answers clearly, it probably isn't him."

The Autobots rumbled to life. Vehicles lit up and rolled out, heading west.

The bots who stayed behind were assigned to protect the base. They were on standby—ready to follow if Noah returned or if an attack came.
