He started reading about everything Ace had done from morning until evening. Then he understood what had happened. Adam read the report. It was all there. When Manager Kim contacted the brokerage firm he did not meet with Ace. He met with another man.
That man was Ace's friend. Because of this friendship Ace found out about the deal.
