Astrid's face drained of all color, then flooded with a violent, mortified crimson.
For a second, she couldn't breathe.
Then the dam broke.
"NO, MIKA! PLEASE!"
She shrieked, her voice cracking with pure panic.
"ANYTHING BUT THAT! THAT'S THE LAST THING YOU SHOULD SEE!"
"THROW IT, BURN IT, I DON'T CARE, JUST GET IT OUT OF YOUR SIGHT! PLEASE, MIKA, I'M BEGGING YOU!"
She tried to squirm free, tried to grab the pillow and throw it into oblivion, but Mika had her pinned.
His arm held her firmly in place, and no matter how much she struggled, she couldn't reach the evidence of her ultimate shame.
Desperate, she even tried using her tails. One snuck up, reaching for the pillow—
But Mika simply looked down at her.
One glance.
That was all it took.
Astrid's tail immediately flopped down, defeated.
She whimpered at the intensity in his eyes, looking up at him with the most pitiful, pleading expression she could muster.
