Mika tapped a button on the side of his phone, and the video instantly connected to the massive TV mounted on Fauna's living room wall.
The call expanded in full screen, and a split second later—Yelena's face appeared.
Her brows were furrowed, her eyes dark with irritation, and the tension in her voice hit like a thunderclap.
"Mika! Where are you already? It's getting so late!"
She shouted, the camera shaking slightly as if she was pacing.
"I told you to get your tests done at the hospital and rest! But instead..." She jabbed her finger toward the camera."...I see you on the news with Fauna! What the hell are you doing? You're doing the exact opposite of what I told you!"
She was about to continue her tirade when her words froze mid-sentence. Her gaze shifted slightly to the side of the screen—where Fauna stood grinning proudly next to Mika.
