His expression tells how shocked he was as soon as he saw her eyes.
"Do you still want to know my secret" her deep voice which is in hope that his love doesn't waver after learning the truth tells it all.
"Do you really love me?" That's the only question he asked her.
"Yes, I love you till death" her heart smiled as tears rolled down her eyes.
"Then, that's the only thing that matters. I don't care who are you and what are you, I only hope you love me the way I love you"
"I loved you for a long time, I have been waiting for you all this time" her words raised curiosity in him.

This revelation shocked him but his heart felt her love which made him hug her tightly as he doesn't want her to be separated from her.
In his arms she revealed her secret
"I am a fox Spirit which has been waiting for the last 200 years for you and I have met you now and I don't want anything to separate us."
"What do you mean by you are waiting for me"
"I have lost you once and I don't want to lose you again."
Her puzzled words made him even more confused. "You mean, you are more than 200 years old?"
"Yes, I have been waiting for you for more than 200 years" her words shocked him.
"But you look young just like a 16 year girl" he looked into her eyes in disbelief.
"Yes, I don't age. I will stay young forever as long as I need"
She then tells her story of being a fox Spirit. I have become a fox demon when I killed many people after losing you and the hope of finding you again helped me in cleansing my spirit.
"What happens if you become a fox demon?" he asks her in a confused and concerned look.
"I will kill people and feed on their energy like a savage" her bitter truth is hard for him to believe but he gulps it with a cold face as he can still see the longing in her eyes.
"But how can there be a thing called fox spirit ,It feels quite unreal"
"We are the children of Moon Goddess"
Her words shocked him. "What?"
"Yes, when the Moon Goddess conceives a human child then the child born will become a fox spirit which survives on the moon energy to stay young and strong"
"But how is this possible for the Moon Goddess to bear a Human child?"
"Yes, it's something very few people know." She nods in confirmation.

"So you will be safe right?" He smiles as soon as he hears that she is no longer in danger.
"Yes, Until I turn into a fox demon or Until she haves another child"
"What does that mean?" her words hidden something deep.
"If I am not the only child she is bound by the earth then she can kill me anytime if I drift towards demonic energy" her words were filled with pain as she says.
"Then I won't let you turn into a fox demon again" he holds her arms and stares into her eyes as he says his words in confidence.
"Yes, as long as you are okay. I will never turn into a fox demon" she embraces him in her arms.
Her eyes were filled with love and they dripped from her cheeks and fell on his shoulders.
"What do you mean by that?" he asks as he still feels that she is still hiding something in her heart.
"Nothing, I just don't want you to leave me ever" her eyes glanced at him filled with love and gloominess.
"Then why do you insist on marrying me to other women?"
He doesn't understand why she insists on him taking other consorts and concubines.
"I don't want to defy the rules of this world and lose you."
"This time I will not break the rules, I will bend them to my knees so that they can't break me anymore" her words are filled with pain and he doesn't want to pursue the matter anymore.

Day turns into night and Consort Ran waits for the prince in her Chambers in a beautiful dress elegantly.
