Harome stepped back, his waist bent, and one of his hands raised as if he was scared that Rexid would thrust his dagger toward him.
“Your Highness, stop!”
I ran over and grabbed Rexid’s arm.
Both Harome and I knew very well that Rexid’s threat of slicing his mouth open wasn’t just a bluff.
The reason Harome kept running his mouth was that he was sure that Rexid wouldn’t kill him easily in consideration of the relationship between the empire and the petty kingdoms.
However, just slicing his mouth open?
It might actually happen, especially since if it was Rexid, who looked like he had a screw loose right now.
Rexid urged Harome, who was trying to come to his senses as he grasped at his face.
“I said keep going.”
