_Chapter Begins_
The mystical shards that covered the ground were illuminated by the pale purple light of the planet.
Almost all of the area was covered in mountains of glass shards, some as small as a pebble and some as large as hills.
But in this sea of mystical shards was a small area where the solid ground was exposed.
Someone or something had carved out a hole in this patch of solid ground.
Deep inside this hole, in a small chamber that William had created, both he and Jane were laying on the ground.
Jane's broken arms were wrapped together with a small piece of black fabric.
Of course, this black fabric came from William's long robe that his sister had given him.
His sister was still unconscious, which worried him a lot.
But he was also worried about himself as well.
"This... sucks."
William's soul had almost been cut in half, and his mind had been ravaged by the corruption of the red cloud and its crimson rain.
Having his soul ripped apart was not a nice experience, but it was far better than what the crimson cloud had done to him.
Even now that William was back to normal, the bitter memories of the past that the cloud had resurfaced from his mind were still lingering with him.
But there was also something else that had lingered with him, and that was the feeling of pure madness that had consumed him.
The feeling of losing control of his mind was truly a terrifying one.
"....It wasn't all bad though."
William raised his trembling hand and looked at it with a weak smirk.
"I guess the cloud's corruption wasn't all bad after all."
Right in the middle of his palm was a small circle that flashed with a pale purple light.
When he was running away from the crimson cloud, something strange had happened.
The sin of Envy had not moved even once after it had entered his soul in the Judgment Realm.
But when he was running away from the cloud, he had felt the damned thing move around inside his soul.
William wasn't able to check what the orb had done to him back when he was running away from the crimson cloud.
But after he managed to escape the cloud and find a safe place to rest, he finally got some time to check out what the sin of Envy had done to him now.
He was not left disappointed with what he found.
William stretched his arm out and pointed his open palm to a small mystical shard that was laying on the ground next to him.
The purple circle on his palm illuminated the mystical shard with its thin and pale light.
His smirk turned forced, as it was clear that whatever he was doing put a strain on his mind, body, and soul.
Despite his sorry state, William's voice sounded as confident as ever.
"I've got to say... this new ability of mine is pretty awesome."
In the next moment, something strange happened.
From the small purple circle that rested on his open palm — a small piece of mystical glass shard popped out of it.
The piece of mystical shard rolled for a few seconds before stopping right next to the original glass shard that William had pointed his arm to.
He let his shaky arm lay back on the ground, and his smirk turned to a contempt and slightly serious expression.
"Gods, I am not that creative with names."
He had decided to name his new ability... copy. Yeah, copy was the best name he could come up with.
So now he had Reflection Travel and Copy, two abilities that were heavily utility-type abilities.
He did not mind this, as those types of abilities fit him best.
"The ability to replicate any object I want..."
William's eyes lit up with a spark of pure greed.
"I can copy a single dollar bill over and over if I wanted to..."
His eyes glowed with greed for a few seconds, but then slowly it disappeared as a disappointed frown took over.
"What am I even thinking about? This is Hell, there is no currency here."
A gentle voice of a woman resounded from his left.
"Yeah, you're right. Most people here use favors, contracts, and even weapons and armor as their currency."
At the sound of the woman's voice, William froze for a moment.
"That voice came from my left..."
He had laid his sister Jane to his right.
"...."
William turned his eyes to the two
pieces of shard that were still laying on the ground next to him.
"I can use Reflection Travel to escape."
The woman's voice resounded once again, this time with an amused tone.
"Calm down, William, I am not going to harm you."
William's eyes slightly widened.
"How does she know my name?"
The cave was silent for a few moments.
In that silence, William's expression suddenly began to slowly shift into some type of expression that was hard to describe.
There were multiple emotions inside his mind that were creating the expression on his face, which made it really hard to describe.
The woman's voice resounded once again in the darkness.
Strangely enough, her voice came off as being very irritated and even a little embarrassed.
"Really, William? You forgot about me this fast?!"
William struggled to reply as he was in deep thought.
"No... it can't be."
He shifted his gaze away from the mystical shards and looked up to where this mystery woman's voice was coming from.
Once his eyes landed on that spot, there was a long stretch of silence.
William's eyes widened to their fullest extent, and his lip quivered.
"It's you..."
Long blonde hair, blue eyes, and lips that looked like they had been freshly painted with lipstick — she wore a white bodysuit that was so tight that it almost seemed like her skin was just super white.
Elsa's voice resounded in his ear with dreadful familiarity.
"Hello William, short time no see."
Her voice was polite and playful.
He stumbled over his words a few times before he was able to finally speak correctly.
"How and why are you here?!"
He rubbed his eyes a couple of times, as if he didn't believe what he was looking at.
"And also... how the hell are you floating!"
Elsa floated just a few meters above ground with her arms and legs crossed.
She sighed and waved a hand.
"I see that your attitude has not changed one bit."
Elsa slowly placed herself on the cold ground and walked to where William was laying.
She wore a wide smile on her face.
"While your attitude is bad, mine might be even worse. I didn't even greet you by your title."
William's eyebrow shifted upwards, which made for a funny expression due to his eyes also being as wide as a tree frog's.
She knelt right next to him.
William glanced at his own body for a few seconds.
His whole body trembled at that moment.
"Her body is not casting a shadow on me..."
Infact her shadow was no where to be seen, she simply didn't have one.
Elsa reached her hand out and placed it on William's chest.
"Hello Pillar of Envy, it's nice to meet you once more. I am Elsa, your own personal guide to go through this Hell."
He couldn't even get a word out.
"..."
"What is even going on anymore!"
