Bery and Valerie finished their performance. By the end of it, the sun had started setting. Elena waved them farewell, and her parents thanked Bery for showing their daughter how to paint.
The only one still remaining at the end was Severin. He convinced the two that it would be in their best interest to come with him.
Bery obliged his request, but they ended up at her old inn. It was natural that she still recognized the place. When they entered, they were greeted by warm smiles from the elderly owners.
"It's been a long time, Bery," the old lady said, "I think you will find that your old room is just the way you left it."
Bery spent some time catching up with the old people before she wished them a good night.
