Chapter 204 - Operation Kiss

The next morning, Leon slept until past seven o'clock.

He woke up once in the early hours, and Rossweise had ordered breakfast for him at the hotel front desk.

But since returning from the Empire, he had been indulging in bed these past few days. Thinking of sleeping in a bit more before getting up to eat, Rossweise didn't force him to get up either; she just left the breakfast by the bedside.

It seemed she was called away by Noah, saying something about wanting her mother to teach her how to swim. Leon didn't quite catch it, and he drifted back to sleep.

Around nine o'clock, Leon was awakened by a knocking at the door. He opened his eyes, shook his head, got dressed under the covers, got out of bed, and went to open the door.

Outside was Muen.

"What's wrong, Mu—"

"Dad dad dad, quickly!" The little dragon girl paced anxiously on the spot, her tail wagging wildly in sync with her distress.

Leon's expression immediately turned serious. He quickly squatted down, held his daughter's shoulders, and comforted her, "Don't worry, Muen, take it slow. What's wrong?"

"Mom, mom, she—"

As soon as he heard Rossweise's name, Leon's brows furrowed even deeper. He had just told Muen not to rush, but he didn't realize his own tone was speeding up too.

"What's wrong with mom?"

"When she was teaching sister to swim, she accidentally drowned and passed out!"

A dragon… drowning?

There was no time to think further. Leon immediately picked up Muen and rushed to the stairs, heading straight for the ground floor lobby.

At the same time,by the seaside, Rossweise lay flat under a large parasol, while Noah knelt obediently beside her. With her eyes closed, Rossweise's silver brows and slender eyes twitched slightly, her pupils darting back and forth beneath her eyelids.

Finally, Rossweise couldn't help but open her eyes to look at her daughter. "Noah, how much longer does Mommy have to lie here?"

Noah hesitated, glanced behind her, and seeing no sign of Muen and Dad, she turned back and hummed, "Um… just a little longer. Just a little longer. I only have this one essay left for my summer homework about seaside lifeguard practice. Everything has to be done in the right order."

Seaside lifeguard practice essay.

Honestly, when Rossweise heard about this assignment in the morning, she thought Noah had made it up.

But upon further thought, her obedient daughter had no reason to fabricate such a thing. So, she didn't ask much and just cooperated with her daughter honestly.

In this practice essay, she played the role of the "drowning weak woman," waiting for the "proficient lifeguard" to come and… rescue her. Just thinking about who would play the lifeguard with her knees made it clear.

It's just that the darn man might not even be awake yet. If you delay my precious daughter's practice essay, I'll hold you accountable!

After waiting a while longer, there were hurried footsteps behind Noah. She turned to look, and it was Dad and Muen.

"Mommy mommy mommy, close your eyes quickly, the lifeguard is here! Later, just do as I taught you, cooperate well with the lifeguard, and no matter what happens, don't open your eyes until I give you the signal."

"No matter what happens, don't open your eyes…" Rossweise silently pondered this phrase.

Letting a dragon keep her eyes closed in front of a dragon slayer, isn't that… a bit too bold? Oh well, it's all for my daughter.

Besides, I doubt that Cosmodeous, the Dragon Slayer, would dare to take advantage of me, the queen, in any inappropriate way. With that in mind, Rossweise slowly closed her eyes. The footsteps also stopped beside her.

"How did Mommy drown?"Leon asked as he unzipped Rossweise's coat, ensuring it wouldn't affect her breathing.

"I'm not sure… She was teaching me just now, then suddenly she yelled for help, so I dragged Mommy here, but Mommy still hasn't woken up," Noah said.

"Okay, I understand. Don't worry, Mommy will be fine."

"Yeah…" Noah echoed, sneaking a glance at Muen beside her. The fluffy dragon girl secretly made an "OK" gesture to her sister; the curled dragon girl nodded imperceptibly, indicating that the plan was proceeding smoothly.

Meanwhile, Leon checked Rossweise's nasal and oral cavities, making sure there were no obstructions.

Then, he stacked his palms together and gently pressed them against Rossweise's abdomen. This was to expel the water from the drowning victim's stomach, something he learned at the Dragon Slayer Academy.

Leon thought he'd never use it in his life, considering it would be a huge joke if a professional dragon slayer drowned. But now, he encountered an even bigger joke—

Damn it, a dragon with wings can drown too!

Mother dragon, what a disgrace!

However, after pressing a few times, Leon didn't find any water coming out of Rossweise's mouth.

He scratched his head, "This… this shouldn't be… After drowning, there's no water in the stomach…"

Confused, Noah leaned in and casually reminded him, "Dad, I heard that in this situation, you might need to do artificial respiration or something…"

"Huh? Artificial… respiration? Isn't artificial respiration supposed to be done when the drowning victim stops breathing?" That's how they were taught at the Dragon Slayer Academy.

Noah's eyes twinkled, and she immediately pointed to her mom. "But Mommy isn't breathing, right? Look, Daddy!"

At this point, the drowning weak woman lying on the ground had to cooperate with her daughter and silently held her breath. Everyone saw it; the queen was just holding her breath to accommodate her daughter.

Artificial respiration and all that stuff, the queen didn't understand at all!

Leon reached out to check Rossweise's breathing. It had indeed stopped.

"Oh my god, mother dragon, don't scare me!"

Someone panicked.

Someone moved closer.

Someone pried open the beauty's mouth.

Someone kissed!

"Muen is going to have a new—mmph mmph!"

Noah promptly covered Muen's mouth before she could shout excitedly. Fortunately, Dad was busy giving Mom artificial respiration and didn't seem to notice what Muen had just said.

The two little dragon girls stood obediently aside, watching their parents continuously 'kiss'. Noah was already considering her younger sister's name. Should she be called Blaze or Star?

Meanwhile,Rossweise was still "unconscious."

She kept her eyes closed, feeling Leon's urgency and concern, the hot lips touching and separating, separating and touching again.

She originally thought it was just for show, even if it was artificial respiration, it was just an opportunity to tease this dog of a man.

But unexpectedly, he seemed to really… be worried about her?

Did Muen not tell him just now that this was just an act for a writing practice?

If not, then that would mean the tension he's showing now is genuine…

Hmm~ no matter how hard that mouth usually is, it's still very soft when performing artificial respiration.

Muen quietly poked Noah and lowered her voice, "Sister, isn't it about time? If dad kisses too much, will the babies also increase? Muen doesn't want that many, just one more would be enough."

Noah nodded and gave a soft cough as a signal, "Mom's fingers moved!"

Leon finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Next, they saw Rossweise cough twice, then slowly open her eyes.

Emmm, what should she do after opening her eyes?

Oh~~ right, say the lines.

"Wh-what happened to me? What just happened? Who saved me?" she said, completely devoid of emotion.

"Dad saved you!" Muen said proudly, shaking her father's wrist.

"Oh, oh, thank you, brave lifeguard!"

Leon's face turned red; performing artificial respiration had left him a bit oxygen-deprived.

But he could still think, albeit barely.

He looked at the mother dragon who appeared completely unbothered, and then at his two daughters who seemed like they had successfully pulled off a cunning plan—

Hiss~

Could it be that… I was tricked?
