Chapter 6 - Stealing Light from Heaven

Part I – The Relic That Can Kill a God

Every villain in the game had a weakness.

Zerath's was a holy weapon called the Spear of Astrael, locked deep within the Sanctum of Light—a floating fortress-temple run by the High Priests of the Radiant Path.

In the original story, the spear would be discovered in Chapter 420, wielded by Kael to pierce my immortal heart.

But this isn't the original story.

I stood before the Tactical Nexus, eyes focused on the glowing mark floating above the Temple.

"We're taking it," I said.

Yurein turned his skull. "The gods will retaliate."

"Let them," I replied. "They haven't met me yet."

Part II – The Infiltrator's Gambit

The Temple hovered above the Holy Lake of Tirinel, protected by divine enchantments, flame guardians, and a living scripture—a sentient magical book that judges the hearts of all who enter.

I knew how to bypass it.

I had read the hidden developer logs in the game files.

The scripture only reads the surface of one's thoughts.

So I sent someone who didn't think.I sent an Echo—a magical clone created from a piece of my soul. It had no dreams, no fear, no morality. Only a task: enter, steal, escape.

And if it died?

I would make another.

Part III – A Spark of Heaven Falls

The theft took twenty-nine seconds.

On the thirtieth second, the sky above the continent cracked.A beam of divine light struck the sea, boiling it instantly.

The gods had noticed.

But the Echo vanished with the relic in hand.

I held the sealed spear in my hand—still dormant, still wrapped in ancient golden chains.

"I'll unseal you later," I whispered to it. "But for now, you belong to me."

Part IV – Echoes in the Church

In the capital of Liora, the High Bishop Talandra received the divine warning.

"The Relic is gone," she gasped.

Knights gathered. Paladins prepared for war. Messengers flew on winged beasts.

But no one knew how.Only that something darker than prophecy had just begun to move.

In the training camp, Kael saw a star fall from the sky.

He felt it in his bones—something holy had been violated.

He clenched his fist.

"I'll find it," he whispered."I'll take it back."

Part V – A God Speaks

That night, I stood alone in the crypts beneath my throne, staring at the sealed Spear. The air around it shimmered like starlight.

Then... it spoke.

A voice, ancient and furious.

"You walk a path not written.Return what is sacred… or face the wrath of heaven."

I smirked.

"I am the wrath."
