"
Four figures stood quietly across the street from an old apartment building.
Ojaga leaned against a streetlight, arms folded.
Clark stood next to him casually, eyes glowing slightly behind his hood.
Barry was chewing gum, glancing up at the windows.
Bruce stood straight, scanning the area with calm sensors in his visor.
All four of them wore matching black tactical armor—slim, reflective, serious.
Clark looked at the faded photo in his hands.
It showed a tall warrior woman in battle—silver gauntlets, fearless eyes, surrounded by burning tanks and collapsing ruins.
"This was taken during World War times," Bruce said.
"She hasn't aged a day," Barry muttered.
"She's not fully human," Ojaga replied. "She's Amazon."
Just then, the front door of the apartment opened.
A chubby middle-aged woman stepped outside holding grocery bags.
She looked over the four of them with narrowed eyes.
Her voice was sharp.
"You boys waiting for the tall one upstairs?"
Bruce said nothing.
Clark cleared his throat. "We're here to speak with her."
The lady squinted.
"She already had four other boys chasing her last week. What's with this tall woman attracting all the teams?"
Ojaga kept quiet.
Barry chuckled awkwardly.
Before anyone said anything else, footsteps echoed above.
A tall woman in a leather coat appeared at the top of the stairs.
Long legs.
Sharp eyes.
Confident walk.
She stopped when she saw them all waiting.
"Can I help you?" she asked.
Her voice was firm. Not hostile—but cautious.
Ojaga and Clark stepped forward at the same time and knelt on one knee.
Ojaga bowed his head slightly. "Princess of Themyscira… we've been waiting for your arrival."
Clark followed, "We came with respect."
Barry coughed loudly and looked away.
Bruce just stared at both of them.
"You're doing the most," he muttered.
Diana raised an eyebrow. "…You four seriously standing in front of my apartment dressed like you're in a secret war movie?"
Ojaga stood.
Bruce stepped forward. "We apologize for the surprise. May we speak inside?"
Diana didn't answer right away.
She unlocked her apartment door quietly and stepped aside.
Inside her apartment, it was simple—bookshelves, a clean couch, glowing artifacts hidden behind glass.
Once everyone sat down—
She picked up her Lasso of Truth.
Barry waved both hands. "Whoa, whoa… let's talk normal first—"
Too late.
Diana flicked her lasso in a clean movement and wrapped it straight around Barry's shoulder.
Barry froze.
Diana's tone was serious. "State your purpose."
Barry looked at the others.
Everyone just smiled at him quietly.
Then Barry spoke, fast.
"We're here to ask you to join our team! We're building a group—we're guarding Earth. There's this thing with seven bubbles merging, world may collapse, and—"
"That's enough," Diana said.
She unwrapped the lasso and sat back.
Her spear leaned casually by the bookshelf.
Clark spoke now, calm and clear.
"Princess Diana… we need heroes with wisdom. You've fought before. We bring tech, skill, and strength—but not leadership like yours."
Ojaga nodded. "You're not just strong… you understand how people think during war."
Diana looked at each of them.
She didn't speak for a moment.
Then said, "And what makes you think I want to join a boys' club in crisis armor?"
Bruce replied. "Because you're already protecting people. Alone."
Barry added, "And we've got a pretty cool team name. Earth Guardians."
Diana stood up slowly.
She walked to the window and looked out at the gray city skyline.
Then to Clark.
She paused.
"You believe what's coming is real?"
Clark nodded once.
She locked eyes with Ojaga. "And who trained you to speak like that?"
"No one," Ojaga said. "I watched a lot of Earth dramas."
That made her smile—just barely.
Diana walked back to her spear.
she said finally. " then what's the misson now?"
She tossed her cloak onto the wall.
"Where do we start?"
Clark smiled.
Barry exhaled.
Bruce stood.
Ojaga flicked his tail once. "Welcome."
Princess Diana of Themyscira had joined the earth guardians.
