Chapter 92 - Chapter 92:  The Clash of Passion.

"Alright, how do we set the terms?"

After a quiet moment's thought, Megumi Fushiguro finally nodded to Kinji Hakari's challenge. Beside him, Panda couldn't help but protest, calling it unfair and joking that they should instead Hajime to fight.

Kinji Hakari simply smirked and met Megumi's determined gaze. He thought, This could be entertaining.

"It's simple. You don't have to beat me, I just need excitement," he declared. "Whether it's driving those pain‑in‑the‑ass guys off or turning this into a full‑blown sorcerer brawl, it's all for passion."

"Without passion, it's like eating unseasoned noodles—bland and empty."

He watched Megumi's tightened expression but ignored it. All that mattered was the spark that might ignite soon.

"So… show me."

---

Announcer in a suit: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to an unprecedented spectacle. Introducing the host, the man who runs this building and loves to gamble with his own life—Kinji Hakari!"

Hakari strolled in from the aisle, hands in jacket pockets and a lazy grin on his face.

"And his challenger: Megumi Fushiguro from Tokyo Jujutsu High—master of Shadow Technique!"

The crowd erupted. The presence of both the event's organizer and a high‑profile sorcerer from Jujutsu High sent adrenaline surging through them.

---

Kinji stepped into the center of the ring. The bottom three floors of this renovated building were open‑air, with giant screens broadcasting the fight.

"Inspired by headquarters, I found a sorcerer whose technique allows me to stream jujutsu here," he announced, peeling off his jacket to reveal a short‑sleeve shirt and toned arms. "Cursed energy broadcast is one thing—I just need to supply the energy."

He turned to Megumi. "So, don't hold back. Use your technique however you want."

---

Megumi formed the familiar seals—

"Divine Dogs: Totality… Teng Snake!"

A massive shadow‑wolf appeared behind him while dark rope‑like tendrils wrapped around his arm.

As the announcer continued, the match began.

Ground cracked under Kinji's feet as he dashed forward, cursed energy trailing from his fists. Divine Dogs moved out front, silent yet swift.

Its claws swiped at Kinji. He leaned in, dodge timing perfect—and punched the wolf directly in the head. It spun through the air, off‑balance.

That left Megumi open. With calm precision, he struck at Kinji's abdomen using Teng Snake. Kinji barely managed to block with his off‑hand, though the electric shock seared his muscles.

He kicked back hard, sending Megumi flying. Kinji's expression turned playful as he eyed the tendrils coiling around Megumi's arm.

"Another Shikigami—different style from the wolf. Fine. My cursed energy resists this kind of damage."

He stepped forward again. "To beat a Shikigami user, you go after the master."

---

Megumi ground his teeth in pain.

"It's exactly as Gojo‑sensei said…it hurts. I can't trade blows with him at close range. If I had someone as sturdy as Itadori…"

Megumi shifted tactics. Divine Dogs recovered and stepped in front of him. He released Teng Snake and began forming new seals—Nue, Orochi, Max Elephant…

"Technique Amplification: Ox!"

Divine Dogs dissolved into shadows. In their place a titanic, horned beast erupted forward—its claws massive and aura oppressive beyond belief.

The crowd roared.

But Kinji blocked it without flinching, a wild grin spreading across his face. The surge of pure power thrilled him.

"Absolutely superb!"

He charged. The Ox roared, swinging its claw.

The spectator's excitement crescendoed as dust and debris flew. Kinji was slammed back through the dust, blood staining his lips. Still, he rose, steps unsteady but eyes alight.

He was just getting started.

---

Megumi steeled himself across the ring. Kinji grinned and formed two seals in the air.

An underwhelming moment, until…

"Domain Expansion: Dice Game of Death!"

The crowd watched breathlessly as both fighters and the Ox vanished. On the massive screens, their figures reappeared in a sea of scanners and rule panels—Kinji's domain.

Megumi read the floating interface: this was a modern, probabilistic Domain.

"If he gets the jackpot, he gets a major buff. I can't let him maintain it."

Megumi's own Domain was half‑formed. If he triggered it, Kaleidoscope might clash—but only briefly.

He steered the Ox in a forward strike.

"1 in 239 chance. You're toast!" he called out.

---

"Is that so?" Kinji parried awkwardly, shrugging off the assault.

A golden flash. A train station appeared on screen. Megumi's heart pounded—Kinji hit the jackpot.

Kinji's domain flicked to the platform: he dodged the Ox's charge through a phantom train and stood unscathed. A nearby girl waved as the train departed.

The image vanished.

He reappeared, victorious. Megumi watched as Kinji's wounds vanished—it wasn't reverse cursed technique.

"This is the domain's healing effect," Megumi realized. "He's infinite‑energy—and unstoppable for a time."

"You ready?" Kinji called. "Four minutes and eleven seconds—my domain gives infinite cursed energy."

He vanished, the Ox collapsing behind him.

---

Watching Kinji fireball again, Megumi gritted his teeth.

"He's right—the buff is real. If he can spam his domain like Gojo… I have to end this fast."

"Domain Expansion: Chimera Shadow Garden!"

Shadows erupted, forming a massive dome. Kinji emerged from the dust-storm to survey it. He smiled.

"You got your Domain now, huh? Looks incomplete… but I want to see your passion."

Megumi relaxed his expression, then unleashed Technique Amplification. The Ox doubled in size—horns, eyes, tentacles all shifting. Shadow Buddha, shadow deer, shadow snake—merged into one dreadful monster.

It charged with devastating speed.

Kinji, powered by his infinite‑energy buff, stood firm. Every strike he delivered healed before he even flinched—thanks to passive cursed‑energy recovery.

The Ox itself also regenerated, courtesy of the "Round Deer" sub‑ability.

Hakari's grin didn't falter. This was the fight he'd craved.

---

He drew a deep breath and said, "Let's finish this—with the BGM!"
