Elena saw Evan and facepalmed herself inwardly. She had totally forgotten about him. She was so sleepy at the time Nanny Flora knocked on her door that even though she had heard her saying that Evan was here, it totally slipped out of her mind.
"Elena, why did you arrive so late? I've been waiting for more than two hours for you."
Even though Evan was impressed by Elena's looks, he couldn't forget the fact that he had waited for such a long time for the girl who used to be head over heels for him.
Elena smirked. Evan considered himself high and mighty and couldn't even bear the slightest of the grievance. However, over the time, he had forgotten that he was an ordinary person and the only reason he was not bearing any injustices was because of Elena.
