Sous soared back to the Alpha. Their fist collided when they both attempted to attack the other. The Alpha took ahold of Sous' neck and double kicked her. Sous went flying to pillar, breaking it.
She fell on top of the castle and slid down the slope of the architecture. When she got the sewer drainage, Sous took a hold of it. She used it to jump to the other side of the castle.
Sous looked over and saw the seals glowing on this Alpha. She began to wonder just who did this Alpha drain to get these seals.
Sous slid down the castle and landed on the ground. By this time, many of the towns people were out and watching the fight take place with their Alpha and Sous. They couldn't fight with their Alpha. They were just too weak.
Sous shoved the Alpha into the walls of the castle, breaking the walls and forcing him onto the floor of his own throne room. She stood over him with her foot pressing down on his chest. She held her claw toward his neck.
"You were the one that killed that driver. You ate him!" Sous yelled at the Alpha. Where were the hunters? When a spirit left a body, they were supposed to arrive at the scene but that didn't happen. Did eating someone prevent their arrival?
The Alpha pushed Sous off of him. He flew out into the streets with Sous following him but the seal on her neck was beginning to glow and burn.
"Tsk," she was running out of time.
The Alpha landed in the middle of the main street of the town. Sous landed next to him, changing back to her normal self.
"She aims to kill me!" He yelled out to his pack. "Fight for me."
"Are you kidding me?" Sous yelled out. She pointed at his pack. "They're in no condition to fight. Look at them. They're skin and bones, literally." Sous spoke louder to his pack. "Look at you! Look at the fence that is up around this town! He controls everything. You stand here hungry, sick, ridden with fleas and look at your Alpha!" She pointed to him.
The eyes of the pack went to him.
The Alpha, still in his beast mode, tried to persuade his pack. "She lies! She killed my men, cut their bodies in half!"
"Your men dragged me to your castle to be eaten. I just came to buy potions."
"You came to buy potions," a wolf said. Sous looked over her shoulder to see an elderly man with a stick due to having one leg, limping toward her. "I have potions. I could really use the money."
"Your potions belong to the kingdom!" The Alpha yelled at the old man.
"This isn't a kingdom, its a dump!" Another wolf yelled out.
Sous looked toward the castle, seeing it was just a farce with an Alpha who was pretending to play king.
The elderly man walked to Sous. "He takes my stock and claims to pay but hasn't paid me in years."
"AAAAHHHH!"
Sous quickly saw a blur where a wolf transformed into their werewolf self and slashed at the Alpha. Another werewolf had come and took a bite out of the Alpha's neck. Another knocked the Alpha to his knees.
The townspeople started running toward the Alpha, all wanting a piece of him. Tearing him apart, his screams filling the night.
Sous stepped back as they all flocked to him, the ground beneath their feet turning dark red because of the blood.
There was a tap on Sous' shoulder. "I have a tavern for you, if you wish to stay?"
Sous smiled widely at the old woman. "Of course and I have don to spend."
Sous got up the very next morning and left the tavern. Already the townspeople were looking better. They were looking brighter, happier, but still skinny but they were eating.
The sound of hammers were being heard. The walls were coming down, allowing Antonia to become a part of the world and not be so isolated.
She stepped out into the streets to the potions store. She took out her list and realized she needed to get a new wand.
"Ugh!" Wands were so expensive.
"Alpha! Alpha!"
A little boy ran up to her. "Are you gonna be our new Alpha?"
Sous laughed innocently. "No, Alphas are for the packs to decide. I'm not apart of this pack."
"I wanna be apart of your pack!"
"Oh yeah, what's your name?"
"Kip!" Said the boy. Sous noticed when he smiled he was missing a couple of baby teeth. He was cute.
"Well Kip, when I turn 21, you can come join my pack at Red Woods, Canas if ya like."
Sous stepped into the potions store and looked around. She saw the elderly man behind the counter. He was able to point out what she needed and she was on her way before lunch.
Sous ran to a carriage driver outside the used to be walls of Antonia. "You're free now!"
"Yes! Where can I take you?"
"Usapolis."
"Hmm," the driver said. "I can't take you that far but I can take you to the outside village of Usa."
They never got to Usa, for they had to stop at another village. Humans pulled the carriage aside.
"AAAAHHH!!" Sous screamed out into the void. She opened the carriage door and stepped out. "WHAT!" She instantly regretted being so loud. Before her stood a woman with a baby and a child. There were few dozen humans behind her. They seemed dirty and blood ridden. "What's, what's going on?"
The woman was shaking, her baby, it wasn't crying. It looked dead in her arms. "Our village was attacked. We asked the security of Usapolis to help us but they turned us away."
"Who attacked?"
"I'mma get going!" The carriage driver yelled. The horse turned around, leaving Sous out with the humans. She turned back to them.
"Some beast. A werewolf thing with red symbols on its body."
Sous was perplexed. She thought she had killed all of them back in Antonia except for the Alpha who the townspeople killed, yet here this woman was saying there were more. Just how many?
"I'm not sure who can help you but I can at least try and win back your village." Sous took off running toward the village.
When she got there, her eyes became blurry because of the dust and dirt. Houses were shattered and torn apart, carriages thrown which ever. Sous even saw a car or two burning with the flames still hot and the smoke still rising.
As she walked further on, she saw humans hanging from trees. She saw heads on spikes. Just dead bodies scattered throughout.
"What is happening? Is this like some sort of curse? How are they transforming into these beast?"
"Heeeee eeeee!" It was a nasty laugh Sous heard. It echoed in the air as the wind carried it. It surrounded her on all sounds as if it was coming from all locations.
She knew it was a witch.
"Did they do something to you, witch?" Sous yelled out.
Witches were so easily offended. So far Sous had encounter three situations where a witch was involved: Icarus, Alana, Petun.
"Heeeeee eeeee!" The laughter came again followed by fog, whiteness, and when Sous turned around, there she was.
She was a short witch, old, gray hair, toothless, walked with a cane and cloak around her.
"Did they do something to you, witch?" Sous asked again.
The witch sung out her answer. "Maybe, maybe not."
Sous sighed, she really wasn't in the mood for these games. They loved to play games even Tany was like that.
"What did you do these wolves?"
"They deserve all that happens to them." How quick the witch's demeanor changed. No longer playful but now just hateful. "They killed my great-great grand daughter and she was only six."
"Who?"
"Heeeeee eeee," there she went, back to her laughter.
