Chronoa's Time Backflow was completely blocked outside by the barrier radiating from the divine halo.
After closing his eyes and savoring it for a good while, Levos looked at Ozotto and smiled faintly.
"Just like you said… the taste of a Supreme Kai of Time really is something."
Compared to ordinary Kaioshin, the Supreme Kai of Time naturally possessed abilities to manipulate and traverse time. With advanced application, she could even repair spacetime and foresee the future.
In combat, that power also granted all kinds of absurd, almost unreasonable enhancements.
For example, Hit's Time-Skip could store and cross a longer span of time, and Time Freeze could affect a much wider area.
And any technique that could be fused with Time Power gradually evolved toward the level of rules themselves.
At this moment, Instant Transmission, reinforced by Time Power, could already leap between subspace and the outside world. It could even cross the barriers between the twelve universes with ease.
What Levos lacked now wasn't strength.
It was development and proficiency with these new abilities.
With that thought, Cell Max's tail trembled, and a petite figure was launched outward.
"Absorption failed?" Aeos looked stunned.
"One sip is enough," Levos said calmly.
"But I can't help anymore…"
Aeos was unimaginably weak now, as if her body had been hollowed out. She couldn't gather even a thread of energy. She was effectively useless.
In the next second, a gentle healing beam of magic enveloped her whole body. Her stamina and energy rapidly filled back up.
Then a huge hand pressed onto her shoulder without warning, pouring a terrifying amount of divine power into her.
"This…!" Aeos's expression shifted, then softened. "I understand. I'll fight with everything I've got. And I can teach you how to use Time Power better, too."
Levos nodded. That was exactly what he wanted.
"Do you have any moves that can boost my combat power?"
With Cell Max's learning ability, as long as someone taught him, he could master almost any technique instantly aside from divine techniques.
"Of course. And there are plenty. I can guide you," Aeos said. She raised her hand and lightly touched the clock halo behind Cell Max. "Feel the pulse of time. Don't try to control it guide it."
"In battle, the strongest use of Time Power isn't just changing timeflow. You can also create time branches. Use that principle to create avatars from multiple branches of time."
Levos fell into thought. Following Aeos's guidance, he sensed the flow of Time Power inside him.
In that instant, it was as if countless timelines interwove before his eyes, each one representing a different possibility.
What terrifying learning ability.
Aeos hadn't even expected Levos to find the knack on the first try yet he completed the key step almost immediately.
"Now!" she snapped.
Levos suddenly opened his eyes. His hands traced a complex pattern before his chest.
"Time Divergence!"
Space warped slightly. As a new presence surged up, two more Cell Maxes appeared on the battlefield.
Each had a physical body.
And none of their power was reduced.
"Your three bodies represent the past, the present, and the future," Aeos said quickly. "Maintaining the other two will continuously consume Time Power."
In Levos's perception, he now had two additional external bodies.
For him, that sensation was already familiar. Controlling them felt as natural as moving his own fingers.
"Damn it!" Ozotto's expression changed. He clearly hadn't expected his opponent to grow this much in such a short time.
All three Cell Maxes moved at once.
One launched a frontal assault on the gigantic Ozotto.
One restrained Chronoa.
The third charged straight into the densest cluster of Ozotto's avatars and began a brutal surprise raid.
Ozotto's avatars rushed to meet them, but against Dark-Gold Cell Max in Time Release form, they were plainly outmatched.
The situation was still a deadlock
But at last, the number of Ozotto's avatars began to shrink dramatically.
"Time Power is being consumed nonstop, sure… but if I keep absorbing like this, sooner or later I can drag it out until I reach Black-Gold Form…"
During the three-way fight, the three Cell Maxes kept rotating opponents, avoiding energy overload for the time being.
Time passed. The battle grew hotter and hotter. The balance of victory tilted little by little toward Levos's side.
On Ozotto's side, after being forced to deal with constant instant transmissions and chaotic target swaps, they could no longer tell which body was Levos's true main one.
Ozotto drew a deep breath, pulling all his avatars back into himself. He fully understood now that his copies had become nothing but nourishment for the enemy.
You were supposed to be the prey.
"Now it's my turn!" the super-giant Ozotto roared. "My devouring ability is the strongest!"
Before the words even finished, countless pink tentacles erupted from his body, lashing toward Conton City.
"Careful!" Aeos warned. "He's using Majin Buu's absorption!"
With that reminder, the warriors in Conton City immediately unleashed their strongest attacks to stop it.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh!
Their energy blasts struck the tentacles, yet didn't even raise a ripple. Even the shockwaves were absorbed by those tendrils.
The three Cell Maxes flashed in front of the tentacles and fired Kamehamehas reinforced by Time Power straight at Ozotto.
The beams carried the effect of Time Rending. Their trajectories split into countless segments with different timeflows, annihilating everything along the path including the void itself.
Rumble !
In a blinding flash, a gaping hole was punched through Ozotto's chest, and it refused to heal for a long time.
"You think this is enough to beat me?" Ozotto bared his teeth. "I already devoured Chronoa. I've mastered Time Power as well!"
His wound began healing at a frightening speed.
But in the next second, Levos's next assault arrived.
"Dragon Fist "
The moment his punch force erupted, three golden divine dragons burst forth across the battlefield like something breaking out of an egg!
Their bodies were wrapped in azure flames. Wherever they passed, space collapsed inward layer by layer.
Ozotto's face changed drastically. He threw both hands forward, and an enormous black hole formed out of thin air, beginning to swallow everything around it.
"Time Black Hole!" Aeos's expression tightened. "That's a forbidden art of the Supreme Kai of Time!"
The three Cell Maxes converged, twisting the three divine dragons into a spiraling offensive.
Screee !
"How is this possible?!" the super-giant Ozotto's eyes bulged as he howled in pain.
The black hole shattered completely.
The golden dragons tore straight through his abdomen, ripping and shredding his entire body into pieces!
"Is it over?" Aeos's gaze swept across Ozotto's scattered remains.
"Not that easy," Levos said, controlling the three Cell Maxes as they gathered Ozotto's bloody fragments. "These chunks are running low on vitality. Destroying his energy core is the real key."
"Do you have a way to find it?" Aeos asked.
"No clear lead."
Levos didn't know Ozotto well enough yet.
But right now, his side held the absolute advantage. Even if he had to repeat the process beating Ozotto down again and again he refused to believe Ozotto's energy was truly infinite.
And throughout that process, Ozotto would become nothing but nourishment for Cell Max's Black-Gold breakthrough.
While he was thinking, Ozotto's remaining body was absorbed cleanly.
"Just one step from Black-Gold…" Levos murmured, scanning the surroundings. "So… what should I absorb next?"
