Chapter 255 - Chapter 255: Closing In on the Truth

For Levos, taking the Supreme Kai Planet into his pocket space was anything but easy.

The main issue was that this miraculous planet was simply too massive. Next to it, Earth was no more than a speck of dust, and the difference in mass was even more astronomical.

To store an entire planet inside a pocket space, he had to use divine power to seal off the surrounding space, cutting it off completely from the outside world.

The amount of divine power required for that was terrifying.

Fuwa sipped his tea, eyes wide as he watched Levos work. Before long, he noticed the helpless look on Levos's face.

Just as Fuwa expected, he snorted.

"Hah. Now you realize how arrogant you sounded earlier, don't you? The Kaioshin Realm takes up a full tenth of the universe, and the planet under our feet is the core of the entire realm. Countless stars orbit around it."

"Putting it into a pocket space is something no one can do. Not even the most outstanding Supreme Kai!"

"I don't believe the divine power inside you is vast enough to cover the whole surface of the Supreme Kai Planet…"

Levos ignored him and continued as he pleased. He let out a sigh, but the corner of his mouth lifted slightly.

"Use it up? I can't. I just can't use it up!"

As they spoke, Levos abruptly accelerated the release of his divine power.

"What are you even stubborn about? Why are you still wasting divine power?" Fuwa couldn't understand. "I really don't get it…"

Suddenly, Fuwa sensed subtle changes on the planet's surface. He didn't possess overwhelming divine power, but his perception was keen.

His expression slowly froze. His pupils contracted sharply, and even his words began to stumble.

"Y-You… how is that possible?! You actually did it?!"

The Supreme Kai Planet had been wrapped in divine power by a mere mortal, completely severed from the outside world.

"T-This…" Fuwa couldn't sit still anymore. "Stop! Stop right now! Your pocket space can't possibly hold the Supreme Kai Planet. If you fail, the entire planet will be destroyed!!"

Levos smiled faintly.

"Don't underestimate a mortal."

He flicked his hand, and the entire planet trembled under the pull of divine power, sending Fuwa's table, chairs, and tea set toppling over.

"Don't do something stupid!" Fuwa's breathing turned ragged. He could already foresee a horrifying outcome. "If you keep going, you'll throw your life away…"

Humm !

Space rippled violently, humming with a trembling resonance.

A raging storm tore at Fuwa's body.

"The Supreme Kai Planet… it's g-gone?"

Standing in the center of an empty, pitch-black vortex, Fuwa was completely dumbstruck.

Only when the culprit raised a barrier around him did Fuwa snap out of it.

"Who are you, really?! How can you do something like this?!"

Levos's expression stayed calm.

"I used to be an Earthling. But I received guidance from the Supreme Kai of Time."

"You actually know the Supreme Kai of Time?!" Fuwa blurted out.

That was even rarer than knowing an Angel!

In an instant, Fuwa's imagination ran wild, and suddenly everything Levos had done felt… reasonable.

Seeing that Fuwa didn't press further, Levos didn't bother explaining more.

"Supreme Kai, I'd like to ask you for a small favor."

"Sure, sure. What is it? As long as it's within my ability, I'll do my best."

"Can you send me to Universe 7?"

"What?!" Fuwa looked conflicted. "You still want to take away Universe 7's Supreme Kai Planet too?"

Universe 6 was already at the end. Losing its Supreme Kai Planet didn't really matter.

But sending this guy to Universe 7… wouldn't that make him an accomplice in screwing over a brother universe?

"Relax. I just want to ask someone about what's happening in this timeline. Taking the Supreme Kai Planet isn't my goal." Levos's smile was sincere.

Fuwa remained suspicious, but when he considered the possibility that Levos might be some mysterious Time Patrol member, he finally agreed.

"Easy."

Fuwa waved his hand. "Honestly, I also want to know who that lunatic was who killed Lord Champa."

Without hesitation, Fuwa used his divine power and teleported Levos away.

When Levos stepped onto the long-missed, familiar land, a lot of feelings rose in his chest.

In his own timeline, the Supreme Kai Planet had been contaminated and mutated by Fused Zamasu, and in the end, Vados had sealed it away.

But here, it was still a scene of birdsong and flowers.

Only…

"Even the residual aura of gods in Universe 7 has been erased completely?"

Levos wasn't sure. He checked again and again.

Sure, Shin was unreliable, but at least that guy could've provided some information.

Yet after searching the entire Kaioshin Realm, Levos found no trace of Shin or Kibito.

Fuwa's face darkened with gloom.

"Looks like Universe 7 is finished too. I checked the mortal realm and didn't find any signs of life. Almost every starfield has suffered extinction-level catastrophe…"

Levos's eyes turned sharp.

"What about Earth? What about Planet Yardrat, New Namek those worlds?"

"I don't know where those planets are," Fuwa admitted, "but don't get your hopes up. What happened here is extremely similar to Universe 6, and from the timeline… it seems this happened even earlier."

For a moment, Levos couldn't speak.

This timeline had suffered a disaster beyond imagination.

No Dragon Balls to rely on, and even his plan to learn the Separation Technique had been affected.

He still couldn't accept it. He needed to confirm it for himself.

"Where are you going?" Fuwa asked, confused, hurrying after him.

"As I thought… it's still here."

Levos looked at the Z Sword embedded in the stone pillar at the center of the lake, then pulled it out and examined it.

The blade was intact. Not a single crack.

"What a fine sword!" Fuwa panted as he landed beside Levos, offering praise. "So you came here for this peerless divine weapon, huh?"

The next second, Levos snapped the divine sword in half with one hand.

Fuwa froze.

A moment later, a dazed, elderly voice slowly spoke.

"So… you knew I was sealed inside the sword."

"That's not important." Levos's gaze was steady. "I want to know what happened in this timeline."

"This timeline?" The Old Kai blinked for a long time before realization dawned. "Don't tell me… Chronoa sent you?"

"You could say that."

"I do know what happened," the Old Kai said with a long, ghostly sigh. "But it's a long story…"

"It's fine, senior," Fuwa cut in eagerly, curiosity burning in his eyes. "I'm already a dead man. The one thing I don't lack is time."

Levos nodded. He also wanted the full truth.

"In that case, I'll explain everything." The Old Kai's tone shifted as his eyes fell on Levos. "But first… your body's talent is terrifying. As the one who freed me, I can raise your potential beyond its limit."

"Huh?"

Levos blinked. There was a perk like that?

So even after Vados cracked him back then, he could still boost his strength through something like this…

If Vados were here, Levos would absolutely thank her with action.

"That can wait," Fuwa said impatiently. "Senior, tell us what happened first."

"What are you rushing for?!" The Old Kai glared. "The whole ritual takes twenty-five hours. It's boring as hell. We can talk while we do it."
