Levos stared intently at Rose Broly. The other's battle-worn form, ripped garments barely hanging off his muscle-bound frame, was covered in numerous cuts and bruises.
Then Rose Broly stomped his right foot!
Boom!
The entire sky split open as space shattered violently, like a gaping hole torn in the heavens.
A terrifying shockwave swept across the world.
Even the divine temple, protected by radiant light, shook violently under the overwhelming force.
The green spiral beam of the Evil Containment Wave showed signs of collapse.
Rose Broly suddenly pressed both palms forward. The destructive energy sphere in front of him trembled then began to compress.
"What?!"
Champa could no longer keep calm. He furiously conjured a dozen energy blasts and launched them at Rose Broly.
Rose Broly roared wildly, "HAAAAAHHHH!!"
A beam, thick as a mountain, shot skyward, completely obliterating the destructive energy that surrounded him.
No wonder Rose Broly had been so confident in taking on Champa one-on-one!
With pure brute strength, he compressed the enormous energy sphere into a ball no larger than a fist then hurled it with all his might!
BOOM BOOM BOOM !!
The two powers collided. All of Champa's energy blasts detonated at once in an earsplitting roar!
The resulting shockwaves rampaged wildly, stirring a cataclysmic storm of destruction!
"This is bad!"
Levos inhaled sharply and immediately focused his mind, guiding the Evil Containment Wave downward.
The devastating gales ripped through the earth. Mountains and rocks were pulverized into dust in an instant.
A thick curtain of smoke rose, blinding everything.
Thankfully, in his mechanical form, Levos possessed ultra-precise sensory capabilities.
Despite resisting the residual energy, he maintained his lock on the target.
Moments later, the green light containing the three Dark Warriors shot directly into his tail!
An overwhelming surge of power flooded his body violent and frenzied.
He'd known his body wouldn't be able to handle it, but there was no turning back now!
Zzzzztt !
Thick arcs of lightning snaked around his body, crackling and hissing like electric serpents.
Levos' eyes widened in alarm. His body was spiraling out of control, the rampaging energy threatening to tear him apart!
But
He couldn't stop his tail from absorbing and devouring the enemies.
His internal energy was swelling at an insane pace. If this continued, he'd explode from within!
The power of Rose Vegito and Rose Gogeta was simply too monstrous. Levos didn't even dare consider releasing them.
"No! I need to expel the excess energy!"
Levos was growing desperate.
He could feel it his body was reaching its limit.
At this rate, the outcome would be catastrophic!
Just then, out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a golden figure struggling amidst the chaos.
Frieza!
"Am I really going to use that method…?"
Levos raised a force field around himself, expanding it to its absolute limit.
The shield ballooned outward ten meters, a hundred meters, a full kilometer finally enveloping Frieza within.
The unending storm clashed against the energy barrier. The shield shattered and reformed repeatedly, alleviating some of the overloading energy.
But this was only a temporary fix. It couldn't solve the root of the problem.
Frieza wiped the blood from his lips, staring at Levos with narrowed eyes, clearly waiting for an explanation.
Levos fumbled around his body.
Suddenly, his eyes lit up.
"Lord Frieza, we have an opportunity… to take revenge on Zamasu's group right now!"
Frieza's pupils contracted slightly.
In Levos' outstretched hand gleamed a pair of earrings with emerald-green gemstones.
The Potara Earrings!
One of Levos' spoils from defeating Dark Monaka.
Frieza's expression twisted with hesitation. "Such a despicable tool…"
Levos quickly pressed on, "We're the only powerful beings left on this planet. If we fail, the entire universe will fall under Zamasu's control!"
Frieza's face contorted. "I, the great Emperor of Evil, fuse with another? That's unthinkable…"
Levos' body was close to critical overload. If Frieza refused, he would soon burst apart!
Desperation tightening his voice, Levos pleaded, "If you die, you'll be trapped forever in a place called Heaven a horrible world filled with kindness, love, and joy…"
Frieza visibly trembled. His expression grew increasingly twisted and terrifying.
"Do you want to be killed by that damned Saiyan monkey again?"
"Enough!" Frieza snapped. "A despicable tool like this… is exactly the kind of thing I'd use!"
Levos continued hastily, "Besides, the fusion only lasts temporarily. When mortals use the Potara, it only lasts for an hour at most…"
"Eh?"
Levos paused, blinking. "So you agree?"
"Hmph!" Frieza let out a cold snort. "All I want is revenge!"
Relief washed over Levos.
He'd been worried Frieza wouldn't agree after all, the emperor's pride was no less than that of Prince Vegeta.
If negotiations had failed, he would've had no choice but to release the three Dark Warriors.
But now… there was hope.
Frieza took one of the Potara Earrings and stared at it, his expression unreadable.
"How do we use it?"
"Wear it on your ear. Each of us on opposite sides."
"…"
They exchanged an awkward look Levos touching his rectangular earplates, and Frieza shielding his rounded ears.
"…Maybe it works just hanging it on the ear rim," Levos guessed uncertainly.
He took the lead and wore one of the Potara Earrings.
Then turned to Frieza.
Frieza was still hesitating, clearly not fully trusting the process.
Levos could barely hold on!
Arcs of lightning shimmered across his skin.
Frowning, Levos was about to rush him
But suddenly, the sky lit up with falling energy blasts.
Dark flames burned within each one, radiating scorching heat that incinerated the air itself.
Levos looked up, stunned.
A figure surrounded in a violent purple-red aura floated in the sky.
That untamed, overpowering aura unmistakably Rose Broly!
But Champa was nowhere in sight!
"Die, insects!" Rose Broly grinned wickedly, his eyes bloodshot.
Tens of thousands of energy bullets rained down in waves, launched from all around him!
Each blast locked onto their position, swarming toward Levos and Frieza like a relentless storm!
Their expressions changed drastically.
"Damn it!" Frieza cursed through clenched teeth.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM…!
Explosions roared like thunder, firelight painting the sky. Shockwaves ripped through the land as smoke blanketed the battlefield.
Behind them, entire cliff walls collapsed. The earth split open into a massive, bottomless trench.
The energy barrier flickered, shattered, then reformed again as Levos and Frieza were blasted deep into the underground.
Molten rock erupted, lava spewing in all directions.
Levos fought to keep the barrier intact.
While fending off the bombardment, he shouted, "Frieza! Put on the Potara earring, now!"
