Luca took the driver's seat, his hands gripping the steering wheel like he wanted to snap it. Aeron claimed the front passenger seat, looking out the window with a professional, stony face.
Selene climbed into the back seat, glad to finally be moving. But as soon as she sat down, the door on the other side opened. Keiran slid in next to her without a word.
The car went silent. The brothers stared at him, stunned by his boldness. Kael, who was standing by the open door on Selene's other side, fumed.
"Don't you have your own vehicle?" Kael snapped, his voice rising in annoyance.
Keiran shrugged casually, leaning back against the leather seat. "I don't. It was destroyed by wolves when I was busy rescuing Selene from the Lycan palace."
