Chapter 59 - Chapter 59 Analysis Class Monitor

I spent a few days at home with my family, occasionally helping my dad weave cute little animals for him to sell.

Due to her pregnancy, Ayame didn't dare to do any heavy work besides her daily walks, so she also helped out with what her father was doing.

Satoru didn't have the thought of telling his dad not to work and just stay home and enjoy himself; instead, he was relieved that his dad had something to do every day.

Thinking of his dad in his previous life, who would lie on the bed with a phone when he had nothing to do, not even leaving the house unless he wanted to drink, he wished he could drag him out for a walk in the sun, and he didn't want his current dad to become like that.

"Satoru, do you not have any missions lately?" Hiroshi asked curiously.

These past few days, Satoru had been playing with a harmonica, trying to learn music, but he wasn't the type for that, so he was anxious.

Even if he didn't have missions, he should still train. Back then, he was very diligent and never missed a day of training.

If his arm hadn't been cut, he might have been as famous as his classmate White Fang, with his reputation echoing across all nations.

Satoru: "No missions. Ninjas also need to rest. Guarding the border is quite tiring. Even if you're made of iron, you can't do missions non-stop!"

"Then if you don't train and get rusty, facing an enemy, you'll end up like your dad," Hiroshi said, shaking his arm, which was only one-third of its original length.

"Look, I can't even form hand signs anymore; my path as a Ninja is ruined."

Ayame chuckled softly as she listened, but when she heard that Satoru might lose an arm if he didn't train, her face showed worry.

Satoru was speechless. You haven't given up, huh? You still want to be a Ninja? Are you even suited for that?

"I can form hand signs with one hand," he said calmly.

As he spoke, he formed a hand sign with one hand, making the butterfly he had just woven slowly come to life, then transform into a beautiful, colourful butterfly that circled Ayame, dispelling her recent worries in this atmosphere.

Finally, it landed on her hair, its wings still fluttering.

Hiroshi instantly felt his throat choked by something.

"And I haven't neglected my training. I spend time every day exercising my Taijutsu and Shuriken. It's just that these days I've been practising sound-based Genjutsu, understand? Genjutsu," Satoru continued.

"Alright, alright, I know you're amazing!" Hiroshi looked dejected. He had wanted to lecture his son using his father's name, but who knew his abilities had become so strong?

"My husband is amazing," Ayame echoed with a smile from the side.

Suddenly.

Satoru raised an eyebrow.

A figure was rapidly approaching his house.

"I have something to do; I'll be out for a bit."

Whoosh!

The Instantaneous Body Technique made him disappear instantly, reappearing at his doorstep.

He looked at the familiar cat mask, feeling a bit confused. Was there another urgent mission?

Instantly, the bandages wrapped around his arm wound around his head, and his forehead protector was also put on.

He didn't wear bandages at home, but he was used to wearing them outside.

...

"Eh, is there a mission again?" Hiroshi muttered, looking at his disappearing son.

He had just been complaining, and he didn't expect it to happen so quickly.

Ayame, on the other hand, had a worried expression, praying in her heart that it wasn't a dangerous mission.

"Daughter-in-law, don't worry about that brat; he's very capable."

Hiroshi comforted her, seeing her worried expression.

That's what he thought; forming hand signs with one hand, was something an ordinary Ninja could do?!

To continue being a Ninja, he had trained for several years before finally giving up when he really couldn't do it anymore.

He believed in his son's strength more than anyone.

Ayame touched her belly, thinking that he was right; her husband was very strong.

...

"Hokage-sama orders that if you have no urgent matters, you should go to the Hokage Building now." The cat-masked Anbu landed in front of Satoru, pulling out an anti-counterfeit order paper.

This was to prevent anyone from bypassing the Hokage and issuing orders directly to the Village's Jonin.

Satoru heard this, and after confirming it wasn't fake, he nodded at him: "Understood."

It seemed it wasn't an urgent mission.

But it wasn't a small matter either.

Whoosh!

The Anbu left.

Satoru went back to explain briefly, then quickly headed towards the Hokage Building.

Whoosh whoosh!

...

"I almost forgot, I also have an appointment with Iruka today. Hmm, I hope this won't make me late!"

Satoru suddenly remembered that he had an appointment with his student today to test his abilities!

It wasn't because his Genjutsu had developed and he wanted to experiment.

It was for Iruka's growth.

At the same time, he wondered what the Third Hokage wanted from him. Had the guys from Kumogakure become restless again and launched a surprise attack?

If so, then it would be an urgent order.

"Could it be that the Third Hokage agreed to my request to learn the Genjutsu: Bringer-of-Darkness?"

A few days ago, although he had decided to develop sound-based Genjutsu, he wouldn't just abandon other Genjutsu. For example, he had set his sights on the Genjutsu: Bringer-of-Darkness, created by the Second Hokage specifically to counter the Uchiha Sharingan.

Given the difficulty of the application, he felt that the Konoha higher-ups wouldn't let him learn such a forbidden Jutsu so easily.

By the time they agreed, he should have already basically completed his sound-based Genjutsu.

"Ah, it wouldn't be bad to get a forbidden Jutsu so easily," Satoru thought this was good, although he didn't think it would be the case.

Whoosh whoosh!

The scenery of Konoha rapidly flashed by.

Soon,

Satoru arrived at the base of the Hokage Rock, the building standing beneath the four large heads.

Knock knock!

He expertly arrived at the Hokage Office and knocked on the door.

"Come in."

When Satoru entered the door, he was stunned to see the people inside.

"Hokage-sama, good day to both Advisors."

What met his eyes were none other than Homura Mitokado and Utatane Koharu, two of the three old geezers.

They were currently seated on either side of the Third Hokage.

Hiruzen Sarutobi: "Satoru, you're here."

"Yes, Third Hokage-sama, do you have any instructions?" Satoru asked.

Hiruzen Sarutobi smiled and took out a document, handing it to Satoru.

"Congratulations, you have become a formal Jonin of Konoha. At the same time, Inoichi has also been promoted to head of the Intelligence Division. We all highly recognise your abilities and your will to protect Konoha. The position of Analysis Team Leader will be filled by you."

Utatane Koharu nodded: "That's right. As a newly promoted formal Jonin, receiving a salary from the Land of Fire, you must work diligently."

Homura Mitokado: "The important task of protecting Konoha is entrusted to you."

Satoru took the document, listened to the three of them, and opened the document to see that it was indeed a document from the Land of Fire, concerning the various duties and benefits of a Jonin.

Ite similar to a Special Jonin, except for one thing: a fixed monthly salary of five hundred thousand Ryo.

"Thank you, Hokage-sama, and both Advisors. I will fulfill duties, scope of responsibility," Satoru said happily, putting away the document.

He got a promotion and a raise!

A fixed salary of five hundred thousand Ryo, not much, just the value of five hundred explosive tags.

Five hundred, five hundred.

Enough to kill Hidan many times over.

You know, Teuchi's current daily turnover is only a little over a hundred thousand Ryo.

A month's salary is equivalent to four or five days of his father-in-law's business... Uh, it's not much.
