Chapter 51 - Chapter 50: Level 2 Authority

**"Language translator…"**

**Pichu**, who was about to browse the internet, paused for a moment when he heard Tony's words. Turning his head, he saw Tony wearing an *"I think this is genius"* expression.

After thinking for a bit, Pichu typed on his tablet:

**Pichu:** *"Can you do it?"*

**"What!!!"**

Tony's head shot up in exaggerated offense.

"Who do you think you're talking to? Just some ordinary guy?"

He pointed at himself.

"You're seriously doubting whether the great Tony Stark can make a language translator? What are you, from Mars? No—forget that—from Atlantis?"

Pichu: *"…"*

Hearing Tony's ridiculous *sand sculpture* style speech, Pichu's expression darkened.

He rubbed his cheeks again, briefly entertaining the thought of zapping him with a little "electrotherapy."

Ignoring Tony's theatrics, Pichu typed:

**"Since you can do it, then do it."**

Typing everything out to communicate was exhausting anyway.

A translator would be nice—and he still wouldn't be able to speak normally until he reached **4-Star** level.

Unfortunately, evolving from 3-Star to 4-Star required a staggering **100 million evolution points**—a **hundred times** more than before.

If converted into electricity, that meant **20 billion kilowatt-hours**.

Right now, Pichu's absorption rate had improved—he could absorb **10,000 kWh** per minute. Yes, only a **tenfold** increase. Outrageous.

That was **14.4 million kWh** per day. In a 30-day month, that was **432 million kWh**.

At that rate, it would take **at least 46 months**—almost **four years**—to reach 100 million evolution points.

Which meant it would be **2013** before he could evolve to 4-Star.

At 4-Star, his strength would be on par with—or greater than—Awakened Thor, who with Mjolnir's full power could stand against the energy blast of a small fixed star. Sure, it almost killed him, but still—crazy strong.

Thinking about the upcoming **2012 Battle of New York**, Pichu sighed.

It'd be great to reach 4-Star before then.

But he wasn't too discouraged. Even now, he could stomp around New York like he owned the place—heck, he could probably punt Loki across the city and say, *"What a weak god."*

And besides—Thor's got a hammer. **Pichu's got magic.** With his full skill set, even against Awakened Thor… well, the fight could go either way.

Tony, of course, had no idea about the mental novel Pichu just wrote in his head. Seeing Pichu agree, he grinned.

"Then come on, I'll take you on a tour of the great genius's lab."

Pichu followed him downstairs.

The transparent sensor door of reinforced tempered glass ahead was controlled by J.A.R.V.I.S. and opened only for authorized personnel.

As they approached, Tony told him:

"J.A.R.V.I.S., set Level 2 authority for Pichu."

As the glass door slid open, J.A.R.V.I.S.'s calm voice chimed:

"Okay, sir. Level 2 clearance granted. Welcome, Mr. Pichu."

During a previous conversation, Pichu had told Tony he was male.

Hearing this, Pichu glanced sideways. Level 2 clearance meant he could come and go freely.

This wasn't just access—it was trust.

And that meant Tony truly saw him as a **friend**.

Pichu felt a tiny flicker of warmth in his chest.

Inside the lab, Tony got straight to it:

"J.A.R.V.I.S., put the Mark V project on hold. Start a new project named 'Pi-Language'. Analyze Pichu's voice and calculate the parameters for building an instant-translation device."

**J.A.R.V.I.S.:** "Understood, sir. Analysis and computation beginning. Estimated time to completion: 12 hours."

"12 hours?!" Tony raised an eyebrow.

**J.A.R.V.I.S.:** "If Mr. Pichu provides additional sound samples or allows a scan of his physical structure, the process time will be greatly reduced."

Tony turned to Pichu, rubbing his chin.

"Yeah… describing your physical structure? You'd never agree. So let's just record your voice."

**"Pika, pika."** Pichu shrugged in agreement.

"Good. J.A.R.V.I.S., start recording."

**J.A.R.V.I.S.:** "Recording ready."

***

For the next three hours, Pichu repeated dozens of sentences under J.A.R.V.I.S.'s direction—basic conversational phrases like:

"Hello."

"My name is Pichu."

and so on.

By the time they were done, it was almost midnight.

**J.A.R.V.I.S.:** "Sound data collection complete. Estimated analysis time: 5 hours."

That would mean a finished model by around 5 A.M.

Tony stretched.

"Alright. Let's call it a night. First thing in the morning we'll get the analysis results—and start making your instant translator."

Pichu had no objections.

Tony headed off to his bedroom—an early night for once—while Pichu returned to the living room, picked up the copper ring of his teleportation device, powered it on, and resumed absorbing electricity.
