About ten minutes later,
the cocoon of light surrounding **Pichu** dissolved into golden particles, drifting upward like tiny stars.
With the cocoon's disappearance came the announcement of evolution's end.
Slowly, the sleeping **Pichu** regained consciousness.
As his eyes opened, an invisible force gently lowered him to the floor.
*"This feeling of getting stronger… it's way too good…"*
That surge of raw power coursing through his body was intoxicating. **Pichu** couldn't help but smile in satisfaction.
He pulled up his personal status panel.
First, he checked his new appearance.
His body was larger now, covered in deep orange fur with a white belly.
His forked ears were brown on the outside, yellow on the inside, each ending with a curl.
Two brown stripes ran across his back, just like Pikachu.
A long, slender black tail extended behind him, ending in a flat, yellow lightning-bolt-shaped tip.
His paws didn't have separate fingers, only small round brown pads. Beneath his small black eyes, two yellow electric pouches sat on his cheeks.
His feet were large, and his fur's underside was brown.
In short—he now had the full **Raichu** look… and maybe a bit more chubby than Pikachu.
Then he checked the rest of his stats:
***
**Name:** Pichu
**Gender:** ♂
**Category:** Mouse Pokémon
**Level:** 3-Star (Raichu form)
**Type:** Electric
**Height:** 0.8 m
**Weight:** 30 kg (constant under normal conditions)
**Skills:** Electric Shock, Charm, Agility, Quick Attack, Thunderbolt, Hyper Beam, Electromagnetic Levitation, Form Transformation
**Status:** Unevolvable (Conditions not met)
***
"Three more skills…?"
Eyes sparkling, **Pichu** rubbed his little paws together and began reading the new skill descriptions.
***
**Hyper Beam:** Concentrates and channels the body's lightning energy into a massive golden energy beam fired from the mouth, with explosive impact. The power level scales with the user's strength.
*"Hey… Hyper Beam? I've seen plenty of Pokémon use that in the anime, but Pichu, Pikachu, and even Raichu usually can't learn this!"*
He thought about it for a moment, feeling there was something unusual… but dismissed it.
Who would complain about getting a strong new move?
***
**Electromagnetic Levitation:** Uses the electricity in the body to generate an electromagnetic field around the user, repelling external magnetic forces and enabling flight. Effectiveness scales with the user's power.
*"Huh… this is kinda like Magneto from X-Men,"* **Pichu** thought.
*"Only, he manipulates Earth's magnetic field to fly, while I generate a personal electromagnetic field and repel against it."*
In the Pokémon games, Electromagnetic Levitation let the user hover for 5 turns. But for him—it meant true, unlimited flight.
***
Finally, he read the last skill:
**Form Transformation:** A Psychic-type ability originating from the Pokémon *Latias*. Grants the user the power to freely shift between evolved forms, become invisible by refracting light, and even transform into a human form for up to three minutes.
*"Latias… so that's who I got this from."*
He remembered *Latias* from the anime's *Pokémon Heroes: Latios & Latias* movie. Alongside her brother Latios, she guarded the Soul Dew. In that movie, she used invisibility, shapeshifting, and telepathic vision-sharing. Other known moves included Ice Beam, Steel Wing, Dragon Pulse, and Recover.
This Form Transformation ability seemed to be a fusion of Latias's invisibility and shapeshifting—plus a brand-new twist allowing human transformation.
***
When **Pichu** saw the "three-minute limit," the urge to complain boiled over.
*"Three minutes? System, what am I—Ultraman?!"*
*"If it's not permanent, fine, but you could at least make it longer. Seriously, what am I supposed to do in three minutes?"*
**System** (weakly): *"Ahem… Master, you can actually do quite a lot in three minutes."*
**Pichu**: *"…"*
He sighed. *"Fine, fine… three minutes is better than none."*
***
Closing his status panel, **Pichu** decided to test the Form Transformation skill—returning himself to Pikachu form.
Raichu was cool, but it was too big for everyday life… and definitely not as cute as Pikachu.
Pichu form was way too small.
Pikachu form was just right.
As for trying out his human form? He'd skip that for now.
After all, if he transformed and wasn't wearing clothes… that'd be extremely awkward. Not doing *that* mistake in this day and age.
