"The Charizard guy hasn't been around much lately. Must be busy."
On the highest sun-soaked rock in the Dream Forest of Fantasy Island, Bellossom stretched comfortably, speaking lazily as she basked in the heat.
(TN: Magic Island = Fantasy Island)
"He brought that on himself. The Master sent all the Charizard for training—no wonder he's annoyed."
The Scizor leaning against a warm boulder shrugged, his metallic claws tapping idly.
"Where did those two—Dragonite and Suicune—run off to?"
The Arcanine pawed at his mane and scanned the forest edge.
"Who knows. Probably off picking another fight with Mewtwo. No surprise—both of them have already ascended to the level of Legendary-class Pokémon. Especially Mewtwo… he looks like he's close to breaking into the First-Tier Legendary stage."
A large Pidgeot descended from the sky, its powerful wings stirring up a mini-storm as it landed.
"Hey—careful! Every time you land, you nearly blow us off the mountain. Even old Charizard lands more cleanly than you!"
Arcanine grumbled while Scizor shielded his face against the wind-blast.
"Ah—my bad, my bad! Force of habit, hehe."
Pidgeot scratched its cheek with no trace of guilt.
These chaotic exchanges were daily life now for the Pokémon living freely on Fantasy Island.
Orange Islands – Shamouti Island
On Shamouti Island, an ancient legend echoed through the generations:
"The God of Fire, the God of Thunder, and the God of Ice—
known as Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno—are third-tier Legendary Pokémon, ruling over the Law of Fire, Law of Thunder, and Law of Ice respectively.
Should humankind offend them, the skies will rage and the world will march toward destruction."
"At the peak of the world's suffering, the Sea Guardian Lugia will rise to stop the chaos. But even Lugia cannot prevent ruin unless a worthy Trainer calms the fury of the gods."
"Such a catastrophe once occurred in ancient times. Only through great loss did humanity survive—and the tale was carved into an altar so the legend would never be forgotten."
"And my objective," said a voice, confident and cold, "is not the God of Fire, Thunder, or Ice… but the God of the Sea."
Inside a massive airborne battleship soaring above the Orange Islands, a man in a white robe, short blond hair, and sharp eyes sat in the command chamber.
This was Lawrence III, the wealthy collector obsessed with Legendary Pokémon.
Aboard the Flying Fortress
"Analysis complete. Based on all recovered documents:
The God of Fire corresponds to Moltres,
the God of Thunder to Zapdos,
and the God of Ice to Articuno—
all classified as special variants of these Legendary Pokémon."
Lawrence smirked as the intelligent onboard system spoke.
Though many Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno exist, only three command the true elemental laws of their triad—granting them authority over regional weather patterns. They cannot, however, control the entire world's climate.
Even Ash possessed a Dragonite that had awakened the Law of Thunder, granting it unmatched control over storms—far surpassing the bird trio in raw precision.
But Dragonite did not need to maintain weather daily; it simply carried that law within its being. The trio of Legendary Birds, however, were bound to regulate the elemental balance in their assigned regions.
That burden—and responsibility—was imposed long ago by Lugia.
Where the Three Legendary Birds appear, Lugia's shadow is never far behind, just as Ho-Oh oversees its own trio of beasts.
The Signal Appears
"Life signatures of the three target Pokémon detected.
Proceed with capture?"
The alert snapped Lawrence from his thoughts.
A wide, manic smile spread across his face.
The countdown to disaster had begun.
The Orange Islands, positioned between Kanto and Johto, were not an official region—yet their fame and influence were undeniable.
A sprawling chain of islands rich in seafood, untouched beaches, and unique ecosystems, they thrived despite the constant tensions between the mainland regions.
Whenever conflicts erupted between Kanto and Johto, the Orange Islands never intervened.
Neutrality had kept them safe for centuries.
Deep within a quiet forest, Ash rested beside Sabrina, enjoying a rare moment of peace.
But suddenly—
Ash's eyes snapped open.
"…That feeling."
A sharp, oppressive pressure rippled through the air—one he could sense clearly with his current strength.
Sabrina turned toward him.
"Ash? What's wrong?"
Ash rose slowly, gaze fixed on the distant sky.
"The elemental fields… Something's wrong. The energies of Thunder, Ice, and Fire are spiking. Not just active—unstable."
Sabrina frowned.
"How unstable?"
Before Ash could answer—
The sky split open with a roar.
Rain hammered the Kanto, Johto, and Orange Islands all at once—only for the downpour to shift into a blizzard, then abruptly flip into scorching heat.
Sabrina shielded her eyes as snow turned to steam around them.
"This weather… it's impossible!"
Her tone grew sharp, rattled by the unnatural shift.
Ash clenched his fists.
The ominous premonition hardened into certainty.
Moments later, thick storm clouds devoured the sky, plunging entire regions into unnatural darkness.
Then came the disasters—
mudslides tearing through mountains, volcanic eruptions bursting without warning, tidal waves swallowing coastlines, and entire Pokémon herds fleeing in panic.
The world was coming apart.
Ash exhaled sharply, aura flickering around him.
"Damn it… What is this premonition supposed to be?"
Despite his overwhelming strength—capable of facing even Legendary threats—the weight of the disturbance pressed on him like a suffocating hand.
"With everything I've attained… why does it feel like something even I might not be ready for?"
The storm answered with a distant, rumbling roar.
Something—or someone—had provoked the gods of flame, thunder, and ice.
And the world was beginning to pay the price.
