Ryan slid the diamond ring onto her finger, sealing their promise with a tender kiss.
As they hugged, confetti suddenly exploded around them -
Alexandra, Uncle Thomas, and friends yelling "SURPRISE!"
A banner read: "Future Mr. & Mrs. Thompson"
Emma laughed through happy tears:
"You planned this entire proposal surprise!"
Ryan grinned mischievously:
"Guilty as charged. Wanted our engagement to be as unforgettable as our fake-turned-real romance."
The night unfolded with champagne toasts, sisterly bonding, and Uncle Thomas sharing stories of Emma's parents' downfall.
As the evening drew to a close, Ryan walked Emma home, hand in hand:
"Shall we start planning our wedding
...and forever together?" Ryan asked, eyes sparkling with excitement.
Emma smiled softly, leaning into his chest:
"Our wedding will be a fairytale, and our forever will be filled with love, laughter... and Sweet Delights bakery treats."
Ryan chuckled and wrapped his arms around her:
"I'll make sure every day with you is sweeter than your famous desserts."
As they stood there, swaying gently under the stars, Alexandra appeared with a mischievous grin:
"Sister, Uncle Thomas wants to give you a wedding gift - the bakery's original recipe book...
AND he has one more surprise announcement!"
