"Are you serious?" Thalia asked with a still-shocked tone, Godwyn's words still echoing in her mind. She imagined herself hearing those words countless times, but when the moment actually arrived, she couldn't believe she was hearing them from Godwyn's mouth.
"If it weren't for our grudges, I would have asked your father for permission to date you. He would definitely bless us." Godwyn said with a smile, enjoying Thalia's reaction to such a random and abrupt confession.
"If you dared to do that, he would probably freak out in a rage." Thalia rolled her eyes, but the happiness in her eyes couldn't have been more evident at that moment.
"That's the idea." Godwyn spoke with a tone full of amusement, making Thalia also laugh at his words. Both truly wanted to see Zeus's expression when he found out about their relationship, especially after seeing Thalia as Queen of the Gods.
Wrapping her arms around his neck, Thalia rested her chin on Godwyn's shoulder, she looked at his angular features with a bright gaze, but finally said in a soft tone. "I refuse your request, you have to win me over."
Godwyn raised an eyebrow and couldn't help but show a teasing smile. "It seems I'll have to find a girlfriend-" Before he could finish, the arms around his neck increased the pressure, making him laugh.
"If you dare to do that, I swear I'll haunt you forever, always pulling your foot in the middle of the night." Thalia said with a threatening tone, making Godwyn's lips twist abnormally at the cruel curse he had just heard.
When Godwyn was about to respond, he felt a hand holding his shoulder. Looking back confusedly, he saw a pair of lips rapidly approaching him. In a blink of an eye, he noticed he was being harassed by a girl he had never seen in his life.
Eyes wide, Godwyn simply pushed the girl back, making her stumble and fall to the ground with a loud thud. He looked at the girl and frowned, feeling Aphrodite's divine aura on the girl.
Godwyn could be understanding and knew that the girl was under the influence of the Goddess of Sex and Eroticism, but the same could not be said for Thalia. She was completely furious with what had just happened.
However, the scene Aphrodite expected did not happen, Thalia did not slap Godwyn or the girl. She didn't understand how a woman in love could remain so calm seeing her beloved kissing another woman in front of her.
"It seems our little love show made a certain goddess jealous and envious." Godwyn commented, his voice appearing directly in Thalia's mind. After all, all the gods were focused on them at that moment.
As for his reasoning, it was obvious. Aphrodite was a frivolous woman who saw sex and betrayals as the most normal thing in the world. Such a woman would be envious when she saw two people truly loving each other, without any lustful feelings.
"I'm going to kill that bitch." Thalia said with a terribly cold and dark expression. She had never kissed Godwyn, but because of a bitchy goddess, she saw a completely unknown girl kiss the man she loved. This deeply irritated her to the point of wanting to shatter Aphrodite's dazzling face.
"You look beautiful when you're jealous." Godwyn commented with a laugh, although he was unhappy about being molested because of a childish and stupid jealousy from a goddess, he knew he couldn't do anything at that moment, especially under the eyes of all the Greek gods.
And he didn't lie, Thalia looked beautiful when she was angry. Of course, only he could see her true appearance, because with Mimir's help, he had upgraded the necklace Brok had given him years ago.
Thalia's anger subsided with Godwyn's words, she looked at him gratefully, as she felt that if she remained angry, she might use her Divine Positions under the eyes of all the important Greek gods.
Something she didn't want to happen, especially at that moment, she was sure she would be confined and imprisoned by her father.
However, Thalia didn't expect the girl who had kissed Godwyn to stand up and face Thalia with clear hostility. Under Aphrodite's influence, she believed that if Thalia disappeared, Godwyn would belong only to her and no one else.
"You're not good enough for him." The girl said, making Thalia's eyes widen in shock. The next second, anger resurfaced in Thalia's chest, ready to explode like a volcano. If she didn't know that this girl was being influenced by Aphrodite, she really wanted to teach this girl an important lesson.
However, Thalia was not someone who accepted being reprimanded, especially in front of the man she loved. Taking a step forward, she simply punched the girl in the face, the girl's nose broke, but she fell unconscious to the ground with a loud thud.
A boy quickly came to the girl's side and looked furiously at Thalia. "I don't know what happened, but why did you hit my sister!?"
"I hit her because I wanted to!" Thalia, who was already furious, spoke with a tone full of rage and looked at the boy with a dark gaze.
The young man's face turned cold at Thalia's words. He took a step forward, ready to fight Thalia, but what he saw was Godwyn in front of him, standing and looking at him with a calm and deep gaze.
For some reason, the young man seemed to see an extremely powerful being, but he was not intimidated and attacked Godwyn. Naturally, the young man couldn't even land a punch on Godwyn before falling to the ground with a loud thud.
What followed was complete chaos. The boy on the ground had friends and, like true friends, they naturally advanced against Godwyn without any hesitation. Godwyn also didn't back down and began to take down the demigods one by one.
The chaos began to spread in the temple, causing the gods, who were talking to each other, to watch the fight with bright eyes, none even tried to stop the fight, some even offered treasures for them to fight to the death!
Even some of the twelve Olympian gods watched the battle with looks full of curiosity and satisfaction. Especially Ares, who was greatly enjoying seeing the brutal, efficient, and fast way Godwyn took down his enemies.
"Good luck, kid, melt them all and keep your beloved!" Ares shouted loudly, clapping his hands, enjoying the spectacle before him. He couldn't have been happier at that moment, he had returned from the front lines and felt that the monotony of Olympus was torture.
If he had known it would be like this, Ares would have preferred to stay on the front lines and fight his enemies. Unfortunately, he had to return to Olympus to keep up appearances for other Pantheons, showing that the Greek Pantheon was powerful and could still celebrate its festivals even in wartime.
"Men's." Artemis said with a tone of disdain, looking at Godwyn fighting the teenagers like a humanoid beast. "However, he is quite powerful, whose son could he be?"
She looked first at Zeus and then at Ares, who was clapping and cheering for the demigod. As for Dionysus and Apollo, Aphrodite, Poseidon, she ignored them. The first three because there were no evident characteristics of them in the demigod and Poseidon because there was a pact preventing children of the Big Three from being born.
So the boy's possible fathers were Ares or Zeus, although the boy also didn't have Zeus's characteristics, but that was relative, as this could be hidden with some magic and Zeus could order Hecate to do such a thing.
However, looking at Hera's dark face, Artemis presumed the boy was Zeus's son, which made her look at Hera with a touch of sarcasm. Her gaze made Hera's face even darker and colder, the goddess of marriage's eyes were undeniably murderous.
Zeus also looked at Godwyn with a touch of confusion, this was not the strength of a demigod born of a minor god. The King of Olympus tried to remember how many lovers he had recently slept with (Recently = twelve or thirteen years ago), but found there were so many that he stopped caring.
The electric blue eyes of the god of lightning stared at the boy fighting the demigods one after another with a look full of appreciation. The boy resembled him in the past, fighting his enemies in the Titanomachy.
Yes, Zeus was so arrogant that just by seeing Godwyn was too strong, he would think he was his lost son.
