Of course, the plantation wasn't home to just those three Pokémon.
Eevee was sprawled across the Dracofruit tree in the middle of the reservoir, happily playing with Bounsweet. Below the tree, Combusken was munching on berries, while Brionne and Milotic practiced Water Gun together.
Gardevoir was busy in the kitchen.
As for Dragonite, it was probably resting in its little flower garden at this hour.
It wasn't exactly young anymore.
By Lin Feng's estimate, it had to be at least fifty or sixty years old, making it the oldest Pokémon in the plantation.
But considering Dragonite's lifespan, that actually put it at the equivalent of a human teenager, about seventeen or eighteen years old.
"Indee!"
The two Indeedee siblings stared in awe at the sight before them.
Especially the younger sister. Her eyes practically sparkled like stars.
She loved this kind of beautiful, peaceful place, and just being here seemed to lift her spirits.
Thinking that this might be where she'd live from now on only made her happier.
"This is the plantation," Lin Feng explained softly. "Normally, Gardevoir and I take care of everything, so there's little chance of mistakes. But you two can help with some tasks, like reminding Rotom to harvest grass, or picking vegetables. The work here is light, and just one of you could manage it easily."
"Indee~!" (Got it~! Leave it to me!)
The sister responded with enthusiasm, her voice full of energy.
She really liked it here.
Lin Feng smiled in approval and led them deeper into the plantation.
As they walked, he introduced the other Pokémon and explained the tasks they handled.
"That's Bounsweet. It provides us with sweet juice. The method's simple it secretes it while bathing. But don't let it soak too long.
"Over there are Milotic and Brionne. Together with Serperior, they help manage the plantation's crops. And this is Combusken. Since you're here now, you'll need to keep an eye on it and make sure it goes running every morning. If I'm not watching, it tends to slack off..."
They eventually reached the barn, where Lin Feng paused and looked at the two Indeedee trailing behind him. "Does it feel like too much work?"
After all, they still seemed like children themselves.
"Indee!"
The older brother shook his head. (Not at all. My sister could easily handle all that on her own.)
Although Lin Feng listed many tasks, they were really just small, everyday chores.
"Alright then, let's continue."
He nodded and led them into the barn.
After several days of rain, Miltank had grown even rounder, and the Combee, now that the weather had cleared, seemed determined to make up for lost time, gathering nectar more eagerly than before.
"This is where the Combee and Miltank live. Since your sister likes being in the plantation, she'll need to collect honey from the Combee every day.
"And there's milking. If I'm not around, you'll need to help Miltank use the automatic milker. Otherwise, they'll feel uncomfortable if they're not milked on time."
"Indee~!" (Alright~!)
The younger sister was already fully imagining herself in the role.
Her brother, however, still looked a little hesitant.
"Oh, and that's mead over there. If you're curious, you can try a sip, but don't overdo it it's strong."
Lin Feng pointed to the honey wine stacked nearby, making sure to warn them in advance.
The two Indeedee nodded seriously as they followed behind.
Next, he brought them to the garden. "This is where the Combee gather nectar. If a lot of flowers wither at once, you'll need to help replant new ones. That means you might want to learn a bit about flowers. But for now, everything's fine, so there's no rush."
He gestured toward the wooden house near the entrance of the garden. "And that's Dragonite's home. Don't be fooled by its size it's very gentle."
"That's about it for plantation duties. Any other questions?"
"Indee~!" (Understood~)
"Indee…" (Um… what about our food?) The brother finally voiced his concern.
The chores weren't difficult, but food was another matter.
"Oh, right!" Lin Feng smacked his forehead. "Don't worry. I'll make plenty of Pokéblocks. You can pick your favorites, and if you like a specific type, just let me know and I'll prepare them for you."
"Indee."
The brother nodded in relief.
Lin Feng clapped his hands. "Alright then, it's decided. Your sister will handle the plantation, while you'll help manage the front nursery."
He gave their status panels a quick glance:

"Hm? The sister even has her Hidden Ability?"
Lin Feng raised his eyebrows in surprise.
Psychic Surge: When entering battle, it creates a Psychic Terrain, boosting the power of Psychic-type moves.
That was a great ability.
Thinking for a moment, Lin Feng searched through his system's storage space and quickly found two TMs.
"Looks like you two don't know Psychic yet. That'll make tasks harder. Here, these are for you."
Grinning, he pressed the discs gently to their heads.
It was like a sudden awakening.
The two Indeedees instantly learned the move.
"Indee?!"
The brother froze in shock, staring at Lin Feng in disbelief.
What had their new trainer just done?
He simply pulled out some strange item, tapped it against their heads and they instantly mastered a new move?
