Chapter 1: Where It All Begins

~ A billion years into the future ~

Humanity had transcended its origins.

After surviving cosmic plagues, defeating multiple races and forming alliances with ancient starborn races , humans no longer belonged to Earth alone. They now thrived across galaxies , universe and even the multiverse , manipulating laws of time, space, and even fate itself.

Among countless civilizations, the Human Race ranked within the Top 10 most powerful species of the multiverse — a status earned in blood, brilliance, and brutal sacrifice.

But power had its price.

---

Alhuwalia Clan — Genesis Vault

Deep within the floating citadel of Zarion, capital of the Alhuwalia Empire, stood a sacred place: the Genesis Vault.

Here, legacy was not just inherited — it was tested.

Carved from obsidian stardust and powered by the core of a collapsed dimension, the chamber pulsed with ancient energy. Massive ethereal orbs hovered midair, each one glowing with potential: Blue, Red, and Black — the Orbs of Awakening.

Today, the Vault was alive with excitement. Scores of elite families had gathered, draped in ceremonial robes, eyes glinting with pride and silent rivalry.

Each child was brought forward. Each destiny weighed.

> ...Measuring potential...

> Result: Galactic-Class Bloodline Purity.

Gasps echoed through the chamber.

> "Galactic?! That's the third one this cycle!"

The parents of the chosen child wept with joy, holding him close.

> "You've made us proud, my son. The stars themselves will bow before you."

At the far end of the room sat Ashok Alhuwalia — the Clan Patriarch.

Clad in a robe laced with darklight threads and a crown of fused singularities, his presence alone silenced all. He sat motionless on a throne forged from the bones of a Voidbeast, eyes scanning, judging, waiting.

With a barely audible voice, he said:

> "Next."

---

From the crowd, a trembling boy stepped forward.

Name: Moon

Age: 8

Eyes: Wide. Green in colour

Heart: Terrified.

He walked alone, no family at his side — only whispers trailing behind him.

> "That's the orphan boy, right?"

"The one whose parents died on a failed mission…"

Moon reached the Blue Orb. It pulsed softly, reacting to his presence.

He closed his eyes. Placed his hand.

> ...Measuring potential...

Result: Failed. No viable energy detected.

Stunned silence.

Then came the murmurs.

> "Wait... maybe the reading failed because his potential is too vast? Like... Universal-class?"

Ashok's gaze sharpened. He raised a hand.

> "Bring the Red Orb."

Moon's small fingers trembled as he reached again.

> ...Measuring potential...

Result: Failed. No readings detected.

Now, for the first time, Ashok's expression changed — intrigue twisted into obsession.

> "Bring the Black Orb."

Gasps erupted.

> "The Black Orb?! That's forbidden for unawakened children!"

"It detects anomalies... curses… or worse."

Still, it was brought forth. It floated before Moon like a silent judge.

He placed his hand once more.

> ...Measuring potential...

Result: Failed. Null potential. Entity unrecognized.

Ashok stood slowly.

His voice, low and icy:

> "A void-born child with no resonance to any known frequency. No lineage. No worth."

The crowd turned hostile.

> "Throw him out."

"Born of disgraced warriors, destined for nothing."

But Ashok wasn't done.

> "Bring the twin."

A second boy entered the chamber — Kai.

Different face. Same age. But eyes… cold. Void of all emotion.

He walked forward without a word and touched the Black Orb.

> ...Measuring potential...

Result: Failed.

Dead silence.

Ashok stepped down from his throne.

> "Their parents — stole sacred relics and died like cowards on a mission that wasn't even sanctioned."

He glared down at the two boys.

> "Now their children come here with zero value? With cursed blood? I will not allow these stains to remain under my roof."

> "Exile them."

---

Dragged through the dirt-covered halls, Moon and Kai didn't fight.

They couldn't.

Their minds were blank. Hearts broken. Eyes wide with disbelief.

They were only five when their parents died — killed on a secret mission that served Ashok himself. No one knew. No one cared. Their heroism buried in silence.

And now, even their right to exist had been stripped away.

Laughter echoed behind them. Footsteps faded.

The gates closed.

They were cast out into the lower slums — a place where dreams died and monsters fed.

> Alone. Forgotten. Hated.

But deep within Kai's soul... something ancient stirred.

Not potential.

Not power.

Something worse.

A promise.
