Chapter 100 - CHAPTER 12: FIRE

Beneath the twisted steel of Shibuya Station, steam hissed from broken pipes and flickering lights sputtered as cursed energy raged through the tunnels. The smell of rot, smoke, and scorched metal filled the air.

Nanami Kento adjusted his glasses, his suit already shredded and burnt along the sleeves. His tie fluttered slightly as he walked calmly, like a man heading to the office… except his "office" was a cursed battlefield.

Three curses lunged from the shadows.

Nanami didn't stop walking.

CRACK.

His blunt sword cleaved through the first.

SMASH.

A vertical swing obliterated the second.

The third tried to run.

Nanami sighed.

Then appeared behind it.

And crushed its skull against the concrete wall without saying a word.

His hair was slightly disheveled now. His breaths heavier.

"Too many interruptions," he muttered, tightening his grip on the hilt.

With a sudden leap, he surged forward again through the subway—seeking Gojo. Seeking vengeance.

Elsewhere, in a more dimly lit section of the tunnels, a man with jagged teeth and a wild grin stood in front of another fighter.

"Oi, oi… You remember me, don't ya?"

It was Shigemo Haruta.

And in front of him stood Nobara Kugisaki, cracking her knuckles.

Her hammer rested over her shoulder casually.

"…Seriously?" Nobara muttered. "You again?"

Shigemo licked his lips, pulling out a cursed blade. "Last time at the Goodwill Event, I was caught off guard! Now I'm here to fix that. Today, I'll leave with your head."

Nobara smirked.

"Okay, cool. But just so you know…" She stepped forward. "I still don't remember you."

Shigemo lunged.

Nobara's hammer flashed.

Nails flew.

The clash was chaotic—Shigemo teleporting in bursts of cursed energy, swinging with erratic movements, but Nobara danced through it with grace and grit. Her nails embedded in the walls, the floor, the air—each a trap.

Then—

"Resonance."

Shigemo screamed in pain as Nobara's technique triggered from a nail already in his leg. The pain stalled him just long enough.

Nobara dashed in, hammer spinning like a comet.

CRACK.

Her hammer slammed into Shigemo's skull, sending him crashing into a wall.

He slumped, defeated.

Nobara didn't wait.

She stepped over him.

"Next time, bring a better revenge plan," she said coldly, walking forward through the subway's darkness—toward the chaos, toward Gojo, toward fate.
