Intense pain!
This was the only sensation Xiao Tian had when he opened his eyes. After he opened them, everything remained blurry for the next half-day, and it was pitch black all around. The sound of a crackling fire could be heard nearby.
After an unknown amount of time, Xiao Tian finally managed to see the stars in the sky. He tried to sit up to see where exactly he was, but a sharp pain shot through his chest.
"Ouch." Xiao Tian groaned in pain.
Ghost Face beside him sneered, "Just woke up and want to move? Stay in that position for at least three days!"
Hearing a strange voice nearby, Xiao Tian cautiously asked, "Who are you? Where am I?"
Xiao Tian began to recall.
He remembered barging into the Raindrop's restricted area, taking out a bunch of Biohumans, and finally encountering a four-star officer from the Nameless Raindrop Organization.
Then... a fierce battle broke out, he was covered in wounds, and collapsed from exhaustion.
